  • Good documentary; however, "An interest in conserving genetic resources." I don't know. Why does life or anything for that matter have to be viewed as a "resource" to either be conserved or exploited in the future? Are we, human-beings, a "resource" to be conserved and later exploited? Is that really how we should view the land and the creatures that live there? That particular rationale has caused quite a bit of dysfunction leading to the sort of ecological collapse cautioned in this documentary. We should remember that humans are a part of not apart from the web of life. Like it or not, we live on a planet of interdependency.
