Ha! That was one of the fiercest feeding frenzies I've seen. The lioness were not submitting to the males whatsoever. The males were like, "damn these ladies is crazy!"

These were probably some of the nicest male lions I've ever seen. Usually they take everything, especially on a small impala.

David Attenborough once said "Best not to take things so personally" after he watched a pride of lions in a feeding frenzy and then how they went on to love each other 5 minutes later.. That saying is stuck in my head and maybe we should all take lessons from it..

I know the crew was filming from a healthy distance.
That was the funniest thing I've seen lions do. The lionessess weren't having it, they weren't giving up their meal.

It's funny to see how the different males act when they come to the kill, the first one is kind of like "hey can I get a bit? No? okay" and the other one just comes in and claims it all for himself.

Those sub adults are gonna be some really aggressive lions as they always compete their mothers and fathers for food and that too in a very violent manner as there is always never enough meal for everyone even if it is a buffalo.

Before he died, he spilled his guts and confessed to killing a few butterflies.

The first male lion came in meekly and got a few slaps, the second male lion came in like a beast and got a leg of impala, guess nice lions really do come last

It means a lot to me, as like many, i have followed the Tsalala pride since they were a big pride a decade ago.
