@d It's true. Been confirmed by official tweets and all. But I think it may not be as costly as you think. It could just be one scene in space. Still expensive, but not as exorbitant as you make it out to be. Also, the definition of space is rather loose. It could be a high altitude scene, like the "space jumps" a couple of people have done. Edit: Though probably further out since SpaceX is making this happen.

What's precious about the Tom Cruise speech is that he actually means every word. It's clear that he has the utmost belief and conviction in the business and what actors were doing. Even in his Covid rant he hit the same keypoints. He's not only one of the most dedicated actors ever, but he's a credit to his industry.

He has been criticised over the years by jelous, envious and cinical people, yet he stands in front of a BILLION people (Tv watchers at home) and, with his teeth caged in braces deliveres an opening monolgue with style, elegance and tenderness. Truly a legend and one of the top actors to ever live.

this June, in typical dad joke fashion, I promised my teenage kids that we'd be going on a Summer Cruise once school got out. I quickly clarified that it meant we would be watching Tom Cruise movies ALL summer. At first, there were a lot of groans and complaining, especially with all the right moves, taps and risky business but right around color of money and born on the 4th of July, I could see I was winning then over. It's been interesting to watch his older movies again, his skill has improved so much but he's always had the natural charisma and charm you see in this video. My family went crazy for Minority Report and loved the MI series. They constantly asked - "what's our Cruise destination tonight"? we just watched Top Gun and next up is the grand finale: TG Maverick! Cruise is officially the household favorite actor now but we all have different favorite movies. hopefully someday my kids will remember this summer fondly 🤣👍

Yes, Tom Cruise it was 'a little bit of magic' when I saw The Sound of Music, The Love Bug, and Back to the Future. But on the small screen when I saw It's a Wonderful Life it tore out my heart. Each of these films brought me a special memory. However, on the night of this broadcast in 2002, we needed to be transported back to these places and times and memories, so that for an evening we could try to forget the tragedy of 9/11. This speech of yours was priceless.

WHAT RELIGION says that you can change your genitals or have sex with a person of your gender? You are blindly led by the norms called by society, without filtering anything with your consciousness. Seriously, I never understood why people hated this guy so much. He had to work VERY hard to get to where he currently is, and he deserves EVERY ounce of fame that he is getting. He gets most hate bc of Scientology and because that’s a shady religion, but then again, their „core belief“ (if they still believe in that) is actually not a violent religion. And everyone says he’s kind and easy to work with, and I believe he’s very consistent in his acting and very devoted to doing his own stunts and all that. THIS, folks, is why Tom is a living legend and why he's been an A list actor for 40 years. Some really good actors are lucky to be an A lister for maybe a few years, some maybe 10. He personally helped to save movies after 9-11 and he did so again post Covid-19.

I'd always admire Tom Cruise as an actor. He does most of his stunts and make great movies. People may not like him because of scientology but that doesn't make him a bad person. He'll always be one of the beautiful faces in Hollywood.

Years ago for TIFF George Clooney was so disrespectful to a journalist and Cruise was so kind and gentle. I haven't watched a Clooney movie since then. Respect goes a long way.
Tom Cruise needs to stop doing so many sction films and get back to doing great character dramas, such as Vanilla sky, Magnolia, BOTFOJ, Rain man, Collateral, Last samuri, jerry maguire. He would've been great in flight or up in the air!
