Came all the way from Germany to racetrack downtown Long Beach ! Attending from friday to sunday. Indycar for me is the most exciting open wheel series. It beats the F1 by far !
Wo du recht hast da haste recht
Vorallem man weiß nie was passieren wird
Great weather, great track, great crowd. Glad Indycar is still keeping the Long Beach tradition alive.😊
Too cold said my weather report ! World Wide ! The new ice age is comming ! No joke !
@@earlybirdearlybird1371 oh wow......the climate cultist had to chime in........no joke!😅😅😅😅😅😅
nice to see the big batch of young drivers
Always one of the best race weekends of them all. Excited once again!
Your crane cam operators are the real heroes.
In nearly 50 years of racing at Long Beach (including F1/F5000) there's never been a wet race
The desert by the sea
✅💯⛈️🏁
Expect rain on Sunday now
@@Lewis-4 it never rains in Southern California in April - as per Albert Hammond
@@AlonsoRules I’m aware. It was just a joke.
6:22 "He's probably never seen anything like the off-camber that you see there..." Sochi says hello.
Can’t expect an American commentator to know anything about the outer worlds. In their lack of knowledge only the USA exists, that’s what’s hindering indycar so much and will be its downfall
So excited!!
Fantastic drive from Pato.
Thank You NTT Indycar Series - Ahh the beauty of your posts on YT, never knew of Theo Pourchaire so here is my chance to see his intro to "the show".
Wow, so nice to see Jackie Stewart there! He was a fantastic IndyCar commentator back in the 1980s.
I was there for the first F5000 Long Beach Grand Prix.......Al Unser Jr owned that track when he was racing!
is there any perfect way to get started with watching indycar? like the rules, the cars, the drivers, tracks, history, etc..
Top IndyCar youtube is David Land. He has some great indycar videos over the years.
I loved watching the history of the 500 over the years. Good overview of the big name drivers. There's a super good 3 part series for free on KZhead. Can't remember the name
The new aeroscreen still looks like a Peterbilt head-on
😂
It's not really new. They've made some changes, but none of them were visual.
Welcome to ther new drivers.
Felix 💪
aguante Canapino vamos Argentina!!
Need to cut out the T1, T2, T3, T4, T5 complex and go back to the iconic hairpin first turn.

When doesn't Graham have setup issues?

the more the f1 ruin their huge heavy cars, the more I am enjoying Indy car, well played indy car)
Same. Just watched the F1 sprint highlights and found these practice highlights more interesting.
@@Casahampero F1 did it to themselves. They don't listen to the fans and what they want, since they are the ones spending money. Indy Car actually listens to its fans.
Some minor national spec series
F1 is still lighter than indycar, and still has more power, your statement is silly. The biggest difference is the quality of the tire, Firestone is far superior to pirelli.
@@byanymeansnecessary9329 thats fair, but visually they look smaller, more agile, and louder. Its a matter of opinion, but It suprises me they are heavier, but i believe you.
I remember when this track was brand new, with F5000 and F1. Who was the F1 driver that had his brake pedal break at corner 1? I believe he was injured
I'd say Clay Regazzoni ?
Skip to 4:30 to see cars on track
Why have they encased real dolphins in stone?
First
... that's not how you say Rasmussen.
Are these the crappiest in-car cameras?
Could live without the brainless disco music.
since when Center of Gravity (CoG) is pronounced as CGI ?!? Scot McLaughlin should be worried about his car, if is engineers are that competent.
Cg “height” maybe?
@@asiatech11 Probably, I'll give the benefit of doubt, those dudes obviously are not amateurs (the second sentence was never serious, of course).
@@asiatech11 It's definitely "CG Height"
Quit watching, no longer on TV. Need a App.

If only Leigh Diffey would get dropped and someone else would take his place. His commentary is awful, he is so loud for no reason at all and makes it almost impossible to watch indycar. I guess you could say he is the Crofty of Indycar.
Well, if there was a better AMERICAN commentator they'd probably have gone with them. You can always have Danica Patrick I guess. You know, the one who always beat her American male counterparts in the championship.
I like Leigh, he knows the sport. And yes….he can get wound up! He’s always been that way, even when he was a race commentator for F1 on Speed. (RIP Speed Channel). But there are many worse options that NBC could have picked, so no complaint here.
This looks really cool to watch the different men get to get out in their race cars and practice to see how fast they can get and be careful not to crash into the wall and make sure that their race car is up to speed before the indy car race tomorrow from long Beach Florida And tomorrow will be different instead of coming on from channel 3 Sacramento Stockton.modesto it will come on channel 105 usa at 9:30 til 1:30 and i wish all of the driver's good luck to be safe and careful and i hope that nobody gets serriously hurt or killed They should all say a prayer to God Before they suit up and get into their race car that God will protect them and keep them safe By
correction. its long beach california
WTF 😂
Amen
He'll be too busy giving kids cancer to look after these drivers.
