Will it be available in the US? Thank you Thomas.
Hi Thomas, it looks like great, semi affordable EVs are coming out all the time now, what are your favourites so far?
I can't wrap my head around how Autogefuhl and Tomas in particular are so productive. From finding the locations and partnerships, to studying the car specifications, writing the script and editing the video to release one quality video a day. Impressive!
thanks so much! These have been very busy days indeed, 24/7 work week for sure. Now enjoying some weekend, while also editing the upcoming all-new Passat drive :)

That too
Peugeot deserves credit for providing such a stylish and great integration of instrumentation. It looks like it was designed with personality that will connect with the driver.
Peugeot are really nailing interior in the last few generation of cars.
Exterior design also very sharp with Peugeot these days.
Not just the interiors ! Exterior is just sublime. Super modern, super beautiful. Radical design but it's really working well.
maybe its because they get updated every 1.5 years
they have been nailing interior designs since the days of 06 generation and even before with each car having it's owen design language.
I am not sure nailing is the right word. I've driven all of the current crop and they are all disaster. Feels flimsy and cheap, rather strong smell of plastics, and worst of all, are total ergonomic catastrophe. Every function is in the touchscreen, which I wouldn't mind if the system was any good. But it's not, it's slow and messy. Screens themselves are really bad quality (contrast is not a word Peugeot ever heard; eye killer in nighttime). Oh and the seating position is wretched. I also know some people who got some of the current gen from new and you can see the wear after as little as 20-40k. I cannot comprehend the minds who pay money for these cars.
For me the most beautiful car from the last 6 months, especially the interior and this beautiful blue coler. Well done Peugeot.
The French really know how to delineate themselves from the crowd...Beautiful looking car with an original design for sure, très bien les gars!
only Peugeot, Renault still looks horrible
Many Renault cars are beautiful and iconic, so which model are you refering to, I'm just curious?@@HavokRm
Yeah, but only in the worst possible way. Their only selling point is the funky and senseless interior, that's all.
That is not fair ... The Renault Megane E is absolutely lovely too
as a previous generation 3008 GT owner and already passed more than 300000km with it,bought it after seeing ur review in 2017 now in 2024 I'm buying the new one in pearl white after I watched ur review AGAIN THOMAS FTW
Which engine?
@@BrateTebra123 2.0 litre diesel
Oh cool! :-) 300 k wow !
What’s your opinion on 3008? Is it reliable?
True. This one goes until 3008 k km.
Thank you, Tomas, my favourite car reviewer by far. You cover the detail others miss.
you re welcome! Please recommend / share !
This looks better than the new BMW IX2 imo, especially from the back. If I buy this I’d definetly get aftermarket wheels or a different option of wheel that is more normal
Loooove the design of this, it's almost a throw back to Glorious days of quirky french cars of the 50s, 60s, 70s.
This is the most awesome interior design I have seen so far in 2024....amazing!!
Holy moly that looks so damn good
As someone living in a market where you can't get one, I really really want it
I don't want this car because in my country you can't add focal and winter package and 360 pack. Also, the infotainment it's still slow, the cloth from the inside will be full of dust, this car it's a big no for me.
Having those wheels would drive me crazy everytime I saw it parked
Urus vibes on the rear. Love it.
Love the look and range of this car.... definitely on my test drive list.
Let us hope that Stellantis offers us a taste of French auto design in the US again.
I don't think they will unfortunately, they rather give us Fiat than Peugeot apparently 😂
Is a really beautiful car French like doing things differently.. and I love different, I'm sure it will be more beautiful when you see it in person... the wheels are cool too
Beautiful car inside and out, damn shame we won’t have it here in the states.
Peugeot almost came to the States. Then decided not to 😢
Yes, I don't understand why they don't try their luck through the Alfa Romeo network
You don't have a problem mate, I would want simetrical wheel as well.
I have not had the new type steering wheel before. having now driven with one (2022 3008GT, I wouldn't go back to the bigger wheel in my 2012 308. The small wheel is excellent in traffic and fantastic on winding roads. Took me 30 sec to get used to it - wife loves it.
One of the best videos about the car, especially the different colours and the quality of the pictures.👍👍👍
I totally agree, the wheel design is no-go
Bravo Peugeot for designing an alluring car, truly next level! The French know how to make cars with style!

Really enjoy how this fella does his reviews. 👍
thanks! Feel free to recommend :)
Very nice review, thanks! 👍
I can't wrap my head around who can afford 50k+ for an EV, haven't the car makers heard? We are all broke!
They have the new Citroën e-C3 under 25k coming up soon.
Franchement c'est une vidéo qui me plait énormément. Très ramassée coté information, très logique, assez objective! Félicitation pour cette réalisation! Effets très beaux, bonne ambiance! Professionnel! Merci!
merci beaucoup, je vous en prie!
Excellent review! TY! I am waiting for my GT one
Still rocking my rcz asphalt edt and loving my wheels and interior with my zeggato double bubble roof to add and it runs like a dream after 80K
Wheels looks cool, something new, different approach, I like that.
Just got a new 2008 a couple of months ago. Never had a Peugeot (or a French car) before. No regrets at all. Peugeot are on a roll these days.
Except for the engines. They used to have good engines, but the 1.2 puretech belt is a nightmare while the 1.5 hdi has it's share problems with the adblue system
@@thejecs8 the 1.2 pure tech 130ps is actually a cracking little engine. Smooth, refined and very punchy. I'm seeing excellent economy figures too. It even sounds good when kicked. Granted the wet belt design isn't ideal but correct/timely maintenance can prevent issues with the belt. It is also clearly visible too so easy to view the condition.
You will regret soon buddy
Yeah the only regret you will have is the customer service.
@@thejecs8 The Adblue problems were solved years ago. My B-in L had to have the pump replaced under warranty - no problems since. No problems with my 2022 3008.
Thomas! Love your content. Please ask your sound editor to not use a gate when you're driving because the background noise volume change is noticeable.
Thanks! What you mean a gate? We do use a slight filter, just like 8 % of background noise reduction, for driving parts, because the constant flow is a little annoying
Very intelligent and smooth presentation, congratulations.
The interior cockpit and the long range is what makes me leaning on this option for my next car.
Great review. Keep it up!
Definitely on my list as next car in two years... currently just got my e-208 and that one is already so nice!
Gefällt mir besser als der Tiguan
I love new designs of Peugeot. With this long range, I definitely gonna get this.
Hi Tomas Brilliant review as always, on the button! Watching from Ireland, will the 5008 may be much the same soon?
Thanks 🙏
Possibly
Great looking car and fab interior.
17:00 At least on the current (well I guess the earlier) 3008, the active lane keeping specifically does not center the car but rather keeps it as it is when the function is activated (you can also adjust by steering manually while it's active).
interesting...
i cant wait to get mine ... this car is gorgeous !!!!!
Wow, honestly miles ahead of it'# competitors design-wise !!
Love your reviews Thomas
highly appreciated, please recommend !
Hello, Thomas new Peugeot 3008 (FWD) it's cool! But I really like the silver color is very impressed!
beautiful car. hope they had redesigned the 12v battery placement so it wouldn't eat into the glove box space for right hand drive market
Thanks! Almost ordered one untill you mentioned the alignment of the wheels is odd. ;)
Is that the only mag wheels you guys have, or are there any other different designs to choose from?
The wheels remind of the Citroen CX turbo from the eighties.
Glad it wasn’t just me thinking that! Car Magazine dubbed them “squashed seagulls”!!
Thanks Tomas.Peugeot shows you that you that you can have an electric vehicle with a decent dash.Another well put together review.
Given where the EV market is globally, having an architecture that supports EV, Petrol, and, PHEV is the way to go as customers are not a monolith.
"Like rawwrrr" is the content I keep coming back for
Interesting pricing strategy... I do notice Stellantis cars get huge discounts here in Germany if you shop around a bit. Kinda like setting very high MSRP but the actual price at a dealership is much lower with discounts. For example, Citroen C5X plug-in, MSRP of 50k, but I can get it new for around 34k.
As a professional in France you can get 20% discount of msrp with a few difficulty
I enjoyed watching the Video, Blue Is my favourite Paint Colour 😊
cheers my friend !
I've been in the new e3008 and its take on the icockpit concept is now more icramped for the driver than its predecessors. I like my driving to be relaxed rather than feeling hemmed in by OTT design. My current 2017 3008 does not suffer from this to the same extent and so its much nicer for me to drive.
After charging the car, for how many kilometers would you drive? And, or Where do you charge the car?
Thomas, thank You! A really good review as always. I totally agree about the bad wheel design, it ruins at lot of the otherwise appealing outer design. Are You also going to review the Renault Scenic E-tech? Also this one has some bad wheel design in the top trim version 😂
yeah i ll try to organise one !
A very beautiful design. Sadly, we don't get access to this car in the USA.
you can create shortcut to every function on this bottom screen for example start/stop system or even favorite radio station.
Cramped rear seats for anyone over 6'. Flimsy storage in the center console. I hope that's for the passenger space only. The cup holders appear to rest at an angle.
Might be my next car👌
Cars like this need a diesel engine. I think since the VW diesel gate thing diesels have been given an unnecessarily bad name when they can in fact be as clean as a petrol. Diesels use less fuel and can tow much better and feel way more driveable. Hybrids are unnecessarily complex and pure petrol versions use too much fuel.
Great review will look out for more content! Probably you didn’t have time for it but some charging tests would have been great
yeah we can do that when we have time to empty the battery. Thanks !
a little sad they're not doing that Bronze/copper colour they've done in the past. that was *GORGEOUS* - I'd get a White one.
Very nice futuristc Design, the interior is fantastic, very good materials and cozzy atmosphere, it looks even better than a premium brand. I love the new i-cockpit digital curve screen an the steering wheel, is a unique car, very original, nothing like that in the market, Peugeot designers did a great job 👏👏
Tomas, can you give us the name of the chap who's head of design at Peugeot....Is it Vidal? Unbeatable designs now coming from France...
I was liking the 3008 but now I'm more interested in Tiguan. Need to see this live. But probably practically and functionality will decide
The only cars that don't look like every other car are french cars. Really impressive how they are able to achieve this. Wish they were cheaper in Australia n Asia.
I wonder if the right hand drive opens that central box on the other side?
40 k euro for 1,2 3 cylinder , thats a joke of the year
Just get the Golf with 1.5 engine for 40k
20000 usd you can get Peugeot 4008 in China😂, oh IT'S brand new, not second hand.
I'd rather have a 2 liter Mazda CX-30... a lot more beautiful than this boxy thing with horrible wheels. And I'm sure the engine will be more durable than that 1.2 puretech...
Love the design. Wheels would hit my OCD so hard. Not sure how they can overloook that when they clearly give such emphasis in design. Nice single screen on the inside. Mercedes and other big brands still haven’t figured out (or cheap out) and give you multiple appearing as one(or trying to)..
great review
cheers !
The rear seems tighter than q4 which is similar sized I remember?
Normally on stellantis products you can adjust with the steering wheel where in your lane you want the car to drive when the assisted driving is on. This is to be able to make way for motorcyclist to pas in congested traffic situations.
Love FINALLY seeing all the colors. Really wanted to see what the black looked like but I feel like the design gets lost for some reason. White probably brings out the most details
The blue is nice
Hi Which is better ID4, Ariya or E 3008?
Nice car!! It’s on the same chassis as the Vauxhall Combo. But there again, they’re Stelantis made vehicles.
What a nice car!
I’m personally not a fan of this French over styled designs.. but it’s nice that they always make something different. The pre facelift 508 sedan and/or wagon are still my favorite modern Peugeot designs
How are these type of wheels balanced?
for this size you would think, for the non electric version, maybe a Toyota CH-R-esk hybrid or plugin hybrid would be used to give this size and weight an appropriate HP to run.
The wheels design couldn't be worse....the interior is the best
Yeah, but you have some better options. So no problem
At least it is still round-ish unlike Tesla yoke, that is a joke 😂
@@christopherrumantono2384he meant the wheels
@@MaticTheProto Aaah, yes, I think it's horrible TBH 😂
I don't mind, French like doing things differently and I like it
I want to see the 5008!! A bit more family oriented with 3 kids and louts of outdoors.
Interior looks nice and the sound insulation seems to be quite good. The price seems a bit high - the base electric version basically costs as much as a fully kitted Volvo EX30.
The Volvo is smaller, though. Not the same segment. A Captur or a 2008 is also cheaper…
Different segments. This one gives u more range then the model Y for the same price
I really like how they have animated the UI. It's like you're in a video game. Also, yeah sure there is a lack of physical buttons, but they seem to have thought about that. The middle screen is pulled more to the driver's side, making it a lot easier to track what you are doing, while looking ahead too. 15:14 Comparing it with the older model here, I think the older model looks better. it's difficult to top that design, but since it's a French car, you can kind of forgive the weird looks.
Very nice Avant-Garde design. Bravo Peugeot !
What’s wrong with the rubber seal on the door pillar over his shoulder?
Peugeot please came back to the U.S. Love this car
Thank you Thomas again , welcome to Franec , can you make a video about you and your life please
merci beaucoup !
Best car reviewer on KZhead
Thanks m8! 🙏
The real change in cars interior happens from 2021-2023 and finally it looks like the cars we saw in old futuristic movies
Storage is magnetic so it is actually great design
The roofline looks like some insane 90s Zagato Alfa
What a beautiful design....
Afternoon mate
Beautiful 😊
Oh my gosh, Thomas...! Your OCD was working overtime with those wheel designs...!! 🤣
haha =)
I was at church today with my 2017 3008 and they asked me if I had a new car. So I'll be driving around with my 1.2 petrol for a few more years
