    • @@chetak0952 If you are going north Ha Giang is NICE sseirously it is a must but to stay there its not really a place for that. If you are looking for city life Hanoi isn't bad, if you want a nice beach and city life without the chaos Hai phoung is really good

  • Definitely worth a visit. 3 cheers for Vietnam Airlines providing above average service. Some tourist traps can spoil the fun like paying high entry prices to places like Hoi An supposedly being vehicle free but the engine sounds one hour later is deafening and the provided tickets let you see less than a quarter of it.

  • Vietnam is a very beautiful country. The Vietnamese believe that a fairy lady from Vietnam married the Dragon King. Unfortunately, they separated after having 100 sons together. She was, of course, very pretty and he, of course, was very powerful. It's a nice tale and maybe, that's why Vietnam has thrown out all foreign invaders over its 3000 year history and is of course, a very pretty country. I hear foreign investment is pouring into Vietnam these days because working in China for foreign companies has become difficult. Well, China's loss is Vietnam's gain. The Vietnamese have suffered through many wars and deserve a little break and maybe, even some happiness.
