You may get Stuart Little, but very little of us would know anything outside of that. But his music is great, his stuff with Fry was great, and of course Blackadder was great. So here he's for sure underrated despite his fame as House, but I guess he may not be underrated across the pond due to his fame in comedy and Blackadder.

  • I have NEVER missed a character as much as I miss Dr Greg House. He felt so relatable & damaged. But the thing that made the show endless, was the way they portrayed PAIN. So many ppl around the world are in pain, & no one has better yet addressed this subject that has until now, been shunned away from TV & Film. And I'm not talking about the cheesy goth brooding psychological pain. I mean true physical pain that doesn't go away. Ever. Huge Laurie is one of those hidden treasures, like Robin Williams, who is miscast in Goofty, temporary, roles playing a stupid character for giggles. And yet when they play a serious role, they have the power to bring you to tears. Only House does this. Sorry, but as good as Games of Thrones is, I am not going to cry over a dragon!! House, like all of us, feels lost, fragile, fed up, exhausted, & yet has to be brave enough to connect with other people just enough to do his job, & take pleasures where he finds them. Miss him so so much.

I have not seen *all* of House (Thankfully, my Library is awesome, so I plan on starting over from the beginning), but I remember what you're talking about. I saw the show before I had chronic pain, but those parts of the show come back to me now, on occasion. I wish there were more shows that depicted what I go through, but thank whatever for accurate portrayal of how complex it really is. You're right-House nailed it. Props to them for addressing the subject at all, let alone how ahead of their time they were. Cheers

    • @@jamesdettmann94 my last trip to Paris took 12 hours if I drove through the night with only bathroom breaks and timed the tunnel perfectly 8 is double, ive hit the ring in 18 hours aswell 10-12 is douable with good timing and risking speeding fines. Obviously driving without the proper breaks and following the laws of roads isn't the smartest but its still not impossible.. I've drove from lands end to John o groats in less than day before and Glasgow to Newcastle in 2 hours 45 mins ... then again its took me 18 hours from Glasgow to Wales before and and 15 hours to London on bad trips. My job and past times involve a lot of driving so its something I've vot fairly good at.. knowing what routes to take and where you can take liberties gives advantages.... i prefer to use an atlas over a sat nav aswell... Any reason you doubt my claims

    • especially from London, you can very easily do it as a day trip - the Eurostar gets you central London to central Paris in 2.5h, you don't even have to get the very first and the very last train to make a day of it
