This Kid is Smashing the UFC and Khabib's Record - Muhammad Mokaev

Muhammad Mokaev has been smashing "fools" in a cage since 15 years old, and after almost 3 dozen showings, still has not met his equal. Nowadays, the British Dagestani is quickly rising to the pinnacle of the UFC flyweight division. It's time to take a closer look at “The Punisher”, who is about to be the next big thing in MMA.

  • He looks incredible but his current Pro record is actually 9-0 and his UFC record is 3-0. He has tons of potential winning with 2 UFC finishes (and 1 DEC) but it's hard to make any kind of championship predictions until you see them break into the top 10. I've followed many fighters that looked unstoppable until they reached the top 10 and that's where there's a STEEP change in competition. I hope he keeps winning because I love watching dominant fighters rise through the ranks.

    • Well, Khabib's first 10-15 Pro fights might as well be Mokaev's Amateur fights since he was fighting guys with less than 5 fights and even with 0 fights. I'm looking forward to Mokaev's rise since he is much more fun to watch than his other Dagestani fighters, except for Umar Nurmagomedov who is also quite impressive.

Some of the most disciplined athletes come from other religions and some don't even follow a religion. Islam is a strict religion but that doesn't guarantee discipline. It can make you disciplined or it creates sloth in a person. It's more cultural than anything else. The strict culture of the Caucus trumps the religion. Look at Georgia as an example. • He has a lot of potential and a positive attitude so even if he loses a couple of fights, he's so young he will surely get to the top before too long if he stays injury free. Obviously the hill gets an awful lot steeper near the top but he looks like he's going to be up there for some time now if he stays disciplined.
