“BAFTA-winning Barry Keoghan - that sounds good!” Jacob Elordi booms as he sits down with his award-winning Saltburn co-star for Vogue. The leading men (and good friends) agree that it’s Emerald Fennell (or “Em” as they call her) who drew them to the project following Promising Young Woman’s history-making success at the Oscars, but they have more than a deep respect for the auteur in common; they’re both Power Rangers and Game Boy Advance fans as well.

    • Agree completely. The irony is that he was cast in a gangland drama tv show here in Dublin called Love/Hate and shortly after got himself into a bit of trouble with the law, all over the rag papers and I thought to myself, “what a pity, he showed real raw talent and he’s off down the wrong path”. Little did I know, and I’m thrilled for the man.

    • Dunkirk he wasn’t anything special. Also in eternals, he was decent and probably one of the best characters but the screenplay was still so dull that he couldn’t save it

  • I think the casting of Jacob Elordi for saltburn was so brilliant. As we all know his previous characters have been this horrible people and I think it contributed to the surprise effect(? that in a way saltburn had regarding the plot

  • I just got out of the theatre after watching Saltburn. Oooooh baby. I'm so glad nothing got sppiled for me. It's a riot. Dark, DARK comedy. Another brilliant performance from Barry Keoghan. He is my Roman Empire now.

  • I’ve been such a massive Jacob fan for a while now (for more than just his good looks of course!) and I’m so happy to have been introduced to Barry! These two are magic together. I really love to know that the actors really enjoy each other outside of the film, it always adds an extra air of chemistry! Such a great film that I will watch again and again❤️❤️
