This sweet homeless mother & her baby have been living on the streets the last year. I surprised them by raising them over $50,000 & getting them a home!!! #shorts #wholesome #family

    • I don't have much to give, but I try to donate money when I can to help people in the hospital in need. I wish I could help a lot of people suffering. That is how I have always felt since I was a kid. And I’m Puerto Rican, just putting that out there for those that like to talk down about us and think we don't care about other people but don't know anything.

Being a homeless person is hard enough, but having a child and being worried for their safety, security, how you’re gonna keep taking care of them… And then worrying about someone trying to take that child away from you as well. Because let’s face it, too many people would rather hurt than help. This is so beautiful what you’ve done here. ❤❤❤

    • @@rudstar8254 there are free places to get clothes (that have been donated) and depending where you are etc you can find a lot of stuff. Some areas have tons of designer stuff donated to shelters or thrift stores (many thrift stores have vouchers they accept from shelters and churches for homeless people to come shop and buy outfits) and people get job interview clothes, regular clothes etc.

I had own place during covid but new owners came along and scammed us an took our money then put 15 day vacate on door when I was approved for a year of my rent to be paid not sure why they didnt take the assistance but it really has screwed us n have been living day to day paycheck to paycheck as IRS is holding 8000$ over verifying my identity smh ive done taxes for 20 years same ID and tax preparer messed up address so never got papers on mail I hope it comes soon as we will need it. God must have a plan. I hope u are in a better place now!

    • I still had a car and a job when I was homeless. I bought a car air mattress to sleep comfortably in my car and took showers at planet fitness to freshen up everyday. Many people didn’t believe I was homeless cause I didn’t “look homeless” there’s no look to being homeless it just means you don’t have a home.

  • I love these videos! My church does this thing called showers of blessings where we bring portable,clean, and private showers for the homeless to take a shower. We give them fresh clothes, toiletries, blankets, sleeping bags, and food. At the end of the day i really like seeing the people smile.

    • That is so important, especially with the heat coming. God bless everyone helping those in need. I lived in a domestic violence shelter, for two years. I was humbled and blessed from the outpouring of community. When I'm out, I look to see who I can bless, in my small way. 😊 It sad, when we have family but they won't help. In my case, I did help. But my dad's wife, pushed to have me leave. While there it was discovered that she was cheating on him. God worked it out, though. I thank God for the shelter.
