  • If you are reading this at night, you should get some sleep, and don't stress about everything going on in the world, or what you are going through. Don't dwell on things from the past, don't stress on your future. Just live your life, because you only get one. Do whatever makes you happy, not what other people want from you. For me, I'm gonna wake up tomorrow morning, hit the gym, and cherish life for the amazing blessing that it is. I hope you do the same and have an amazing day as well! ❤

It was a surprise to us because we thought he had reenlist for 6 more months in Vietnam after he served his year. But he came home first before going back. I was playing ice hockey in high school and they but him in as a goalie. I did a slap shot against him and he was saying I didnt score and I went over to argue with him and then ----wham, he took off the mask and like -- what can I say -- wow. My sister was a cheerleader and she came slipping and sliding on the ice to get to him. Never forget. And please, also never forget the ones that did not make it. The true Heroes.

  • I hope to join the army after I turn 18. I'm 16 right now, but there's something I wanna tell you guys about: we had a former navy seal from my grandpa's family. His name was Herschel Figg (my great grandfather) he passed away from dementia 10 months ago he was in his 80s or 90s. The only time I ever saw him was on Christmas Eve. All I can say is, I salute the army. Think you to everyone who sacrificed themselves for us. Your sacrifices are never forgotten.❤ #USARMY #GOARMY
