  • Seeing this stellar of basketball this early in the season by both teams was fun. These teams will be fun to watch again in March. Wow.

    • I lost count of the number of low IQ plays in the final five minutes of the game. College basketball took a turn for the worse about 10-15 years ago when justa about every blue chip freshman in each recruiting class decided to be one and done. The transfer portal has only added to the inanity. Tre Mitchell on Kentucky has played at UMass, Texas, and West Virginia. College basketball was much better when players stayed for three or four years and actually cared about winning the national championship. You can tell that most of the UK players are only worried about their draft positions.

    • @@ZenigundamAnd is probably why they lost. Went 1v1 as soon as they could and stopped playing as a team. KU started playing as a team and came back down 14 to win. Coaching was big in this one. Cal, ya ain't Bill!

    • You watched a team with 3 and 4 year players. I know I would be thinking about the NBA draft if I was as good as some of the freshmen on UK. Daaaa… it’s a rule blame the NCAA. Also UK had a team full of veteran players last year and we saw how that went. TBH I like what I see out of the young team. KU has a team that has 3to 4 years of experience Ky has 3 games with no centers and Ky got out coached. Sure. The game was really good. one of best games I watched in a while. My takeaway is we watched a young team give a old veteran team a run for their money. Can Bill get his team a lot better. I’m pretty sure Cal’s team is going to get better

Maybe Cal thinks more bc sometimes rob might be a bad thing in defense only sometimes, I really said him coming off the bench would be good bc it gives Kentucky a boost. That will be rectified after injuries and/or NCAA clearing (personally, I don't blame NCAA for trying to stop the charade of foreign players being amateurs, but NCAA has no power at all). It's only one big game, but I don't see at all how the NBA is salivating on Wagner. Looks like any other average freshman - no great range, no beat you off the dribble to the rack.
