@@davidutube8010 No, Nini wasnt better in any moments. Edvards made dumb mistake at the end of the first half-- that leads to 8-0 for the Nuggets. He was ballhoging to much and Jokic made him pay. That run was crucial. Edvards has tunel vision, he must learn how to pas not just isolation.
Nas Reid could have been given more minutes. His production was the most efficient but the coach didn't think to give him more playing time.
It was a pleasure to see Edwards play. The difference with Jokic is that we see almost only his individual efforts while Jokic shows what it's like to be a team leader, he is good in so many respects.

I'm a Denver fan, but i gotta say Anthony Edwards is a great player! That being said he is also one of the main reasons they lost. He plays a lot, A LOT, of solo plays and wastes a LOT of time doing so. They've been down 10 most of the game and he had open players under the basket, mostly Gobert, and he never passes the ball. And you can see on other players faces they don't even try to do anything when he has the ball, because they know he won't pass. He uses up all of their 24 seconds to do solo runs to showcase his skills. That's why Jokić is the MVP, he knows it's not about flexing, it's not about being the best player on the team, it's not about being the best player in the NBA... It's about doing what's best for your team to win. If he needs to score because his team is not feeling it on that night he is gonna drop a 40 point game, if his team is on fire he will have 15 assists and 20 points, but the team will win. I am completely amazed at Anthony Edwards, but he is just to much of a "everybody look at me" player. When did you see Jokić stop and flex for the camera after he scores? He doesn't care about all that "look at how awesome i am" attitude that 90% of NBA players have, he is there to win games and to be the best he can be for his team to achieve victory, and basketball is a team sport. If Edwards can get that solo stuff out of his head, and get his head into the game, next season Timberwolves are gonna be one of the best teams for sure. Towns and Gobert are amazing players, and if Edwards starts actually playing with them instead of all this "i'm the best, look at my solo attempt" they will be unstoppable.

Agree completely. It's the difference between being "the best player" on your team vs. "the most valuable player FOR your team." Jokic is both, but most all-stars are simply the best player on their team.
To be fair Ant had to play like this last night. There have been all sorts of examples of him stepping off the gas when his team is getting it done.
Nuggets fan here, i was worried after game 2 where they restricted Jokic. But as it seemed, it was temporary. The MVP found the way past the Wolves defence. And Antman got my full respect. A super talented guy, crazy confident BUT not arrogant at all and respectful to his opponents and to the game. Gained a fan for life.

The thing I kept noticing in similarities between the Spurs and Nuggets is that the first half of the game is: 1. They let the opposing team score as much as possible. 2.
