I kept saying Jamal Murray needed to pick up the pace. He has a problem with walking the ball up the court and playing at a real slow pace. Tonight he did a good job with playing at a faster pace.
Well, the silver lining in this disastrous effort for Minnesota, was the fact that they acknowledged they never came close to playing their best to the game, and that they didn't play up to their abilities. Saying that about themselves regarding Game 3, and playing their best in Game 4, are two different things. Minnesota HAS to know they can't go back to Denver at 2-2. They must win game 4, which will give them a Game 6 opportunity to close out the series, if they should come out flat again in Game 5. Kudos to Mike Malone for having his team play like the defending champions they are.

I should’ve bet but decided not to. Perhaps I would’ve jinxed Denver if I did. Before I heard who Paul Pierce and Skip Bayless were picking, I had a very good feeling Denver would win Game 3. On Bovada, Nuggets were +1800 to win it all. It’s going to be half that by tomorrow morning. DON’T LET THEM GET ONE. Say Minny wins Game 4. I believe Denver can win the final 3. Back in 2020, they came back down 3-1 twice to Utah and the Clippers. That’s how much I believe in them. I didn’t worry about them being 0-2. My Clippers overcame it twice in 2021 but we weren’t champions like Denver are. All these morons on TV already giving Denver a eulogy ignoring the fact that they’re the defending champions.
