    • I think that finish also symbolizes that AO is his home. Look at the shots that he wouldn't normally perform. From the jumping overhead at the beginning to that Rafa like smash at the end. That's kind of essentially how you know that the player really feels at home when they can play shots that you wouldn't normally see them play.

Please speed up Wimbledon courts it would be fantastic to watch also like that I know Djokovic is going to win Anyway Hard courts should be medium to medium fast court speed actually Outdoor Hard courts should be medium surface between Grass and clay courts Grass courts should be medium fast to fast surfaces. Red clay should be slow like always Hard courts should be medium to medium fast at least

Sometimes Djokovic determination looks sick. Sometimes he is watching in competitors eyes like they are in real war. • "Crowd factor" - another metric that should be taken into account in the GOAT debate. Home advantage is a generally accepted concept in any sport rivalry. It should also be considered in the GOAT rivalry. Diminishing the role of the crowd (independent how Novak deal with it) is another attempt to downgrade Novak's achivements. Fedal has always had home advantage when playing vs Novak (particulalry in AO US open and Wimbledon). Hence, what Novak achieved always playing "away" is yet another reason to call him GOAT.

Altho 90% of the time in sports the best player is usually the greatest player, there are many exceptions (like I don't think Brady is really the BEST QB ever, but no doubt he's the goat) I think Roger being the global cultural icon and sorta the "OG" door opener of this golden era had definitely gave him a massive edge in the greatness debate. I'm a level headed nole fam so I understand, this is sorta a Muhammad Ali situation in boxing. If you know boxing you know that Ali can't say definitively he's the greatest boxer or fighter ever, but the whole package of his career put him there. Call it fair or not, that is the reality, to make history, you often needs some luck at the end of the day, many things need to fall in the right places at the right times and I guess Roger is just very lucky. I think Novak is the best complete player ever tho, like if we have to put the fate of earth on the line with the aliens in a match on a random surface I'd pick nole any day of the week

  • Novak's strategy worked to perfection. Medvedev is so good creating opportunities by changing directions. Opponents make the mistake of trying to hit him off the court and he can hurt you from any angle (because of his length and ability to change direction). Novak started points with 5-6 neutral balls (middle of the court) and Medvedev didnt know what to do. When he had to dictate first...he struggled. Combine this with Novak elevating his game (especially his serve...I have never seen him hit one 130+ mph) and you have a man that is difficult to beat at a Slam.
