It’s a direct parody of the first episode of season 4 of Breaking Bad, when Gus walks into the lab and silently changes into a murder suit all while Walt is pleading with him the entire time, before Gus slits Victor’s throat with the box cutter and then leaves without a word except for “well, get to work.” It might have a tiny inspiration from the wire as well, but you can bet that Breaking Bad was the main inspiration.
