The Tata Steel Chess Tournament is an annual chess tournament held in January in Wijk aan Zee, the Netherlands.
Who's here after Gukesh won the Fide Candidates 2024?
This is so sad. It might cost him the tournament victory.
I guess not
Yep it freakin did
Oof
It did yeah.
Prag was completely losing and said “yeah looks like a draw.” 🤝
Are you stupid?
Well it is the rule so you can't just ignore that
All grandmasters have faced this including Gukesh. Gukesh only real contender is Pragg also from Tamil Nadu
He is helping Pragg keep his unbeaten record intact 😊
Dude in a match you don't think about others achievement or whatever...this draw could possibly cost him the tournament victory
@@Lucifer-mq2du he is joking my guy
If gukesh would have won today he would sole lead the tournament
If and if we would all be millionaires today. If is irrelevant. Pragg came with his scorpion sting
@@StarPlanet56789 you are just a hater I have no words for you.
@@Randomly_Random99 Living with an if is all hypothetical. Let the data speak for itself. Not living in a dream world
@@StarPlanet56789Gukesh winning was more likely than losing. You becoming a mllionare is much more unlikely than likely. What a bs Analogy . And then It wasnt much of a hypothetical scenario
@@pds4 People living in denial are dishonest people. Moreover they feel frustrated cause they can't be what they ain't. Tamil is a DNA. Tamil's are a global brand !
Heartbreaking 💔 he would have been the sole leader if he had won this game
The better man will win the tournament
India emerging as top chess destination in the world. Pragg, Gukesh, Erigaisi ,Vidit , Vaishali, made it happen 🎉
Both of them have played numerous games against each other. Gukesh should take that as a learning and move on. Wish one among the 3 Indians Vidit, Pragg and Gukesh or Anish with Indian root wins the world championship.
Isn’t Giri of Nepal and Russian descent? I didn’t think he was Indian
Indian won't treat Nepali's differently. His paternal grand mother is from India. May be he is 25% Indian. It does not matter now. Congrats to Wei Yi.
anish is of nepali roots not indian though
@@godzilla7779nepal has been culturally and geographically very close to india, nepalis are almost like our own
Rook to H4....This winning move that was never made will haunt Gukesh for sometime.😂😂😂
He had eventual checkmate, pluse i don't think a grand master is so dumb like that, i think he just gave up for pragg
Pragg ❤❤
I am a bit confused here 🤔 Can someone explain what happed !!
he lost the tournament in the tiebreaks
Lol😅
I feel that Pragg should have taken the high road here..I don't think this helped his image on the whole.
you need to cordially shut up
Wtf how does it make sense ?😂😂 Image? Bro everyone's playing acc to laws...stop these spirit of the game blah blah and just get Gukesh with some presence of mind.
Well thats not good thing for sports
This is a valid rule that is not frowned upon and happens quite often in chess. I think Gukesh actually checked if it was a repetition, but made a poor judgement.
I get what you're saying and that's what I thought at first. But what if (in some different position) Pragg had left a Queen hanging ? Should Gukesh have not taken it ? I love Gukesh but he blundered here ... a threefold repetition IS an actual draw ... even if the rules say that you have to stop the clock and claim it.
