This looks likes a dad with his kids during dinner time
LOL
@AkshunChauhan-pg5zdshe looks like the mother tbh
That's why vishy was easily the best of Indian master on his era. On his days of playing chess no media exposure no technology and still he made a 5 time world champion 😂
@AkshunChauhan-pg5zd Fun fact tania is older than humpy
True
it's like Vishy is the Godfather of the chess mafia and these are his high ranking members 😂

Fun Fact: There's a planet named after Viswanathan Anand named '(4538) Vishyanand'.
it's more of an asteroid than a planet, but super cool nonetheless
That itself proves the actual elo of Vishy

@@forsuper6836why are you toxic? There’s a lot of games still remaining…if anything vidit can play for results more often in the upcoming rounds and that makes his games more exciting…potentially…
This dinner was held while they were still in India iirc. And Vishy, Pragg, Vaishali and Gukesh are all from the same city, Chennai. Vidit would've to travel from a different part of the country just for the dinner so maybe that's why he's not here.
He is the only one far from Chennai to attend this dinner obviously
South indian nepotism
Pragg giving epic answers 😂😂😂😂😂❤❤❤
The admiration in Gukesh’s eyes is so obvious. Truly wonderful and heart warming to see.
So Vaishali and Pragg wearing similar Shirtz.. most probably their mother is taking care 😊😊
Gukesh also same dress. I think it is from Sponsors WACA.
This was lovely. It's a joy getting to meet Koneru, too, whom we've seen in the women's elite for ages but only as pictures and names. She always looks so stern and intense in pictures of her playing, and is such a beast at the board, that I was a little surprised she seemed so warm and relaxed here. It's great hearing from the rest of you, too. We miss Vidit, ofc. He'll be at the next dinner tho, I'm sure. Everything's already been said about Vishy so nothing more to add here :) The world roots for you, India! You're leading the next generation more than every other country, and we're here for it. Love and respect from USA

I am a simple man, Vishy smiles, I smile..... Lovely to see the cheeky and fun side of him....
this is a stupid comment.
I love the fact that Vishy maintained the connection with his motherland. He never became overly eurocentric. As a result, an entire generation of young Indian players have been influenced by him, and honor him in such a major way, that has allowed them to appreciate his effort.
Honestly, makes me wonder how strong a candidate would be if Vishy was their second man
Being a second is tiring as hell. It would be unnecessarily tough on Vishy.
Now it makes me wonder, why Vishy is not anyone's second. May be he has a huge role designated in FIDE.
@@Eyezofdarkfire what is this?
@@Eyezofdarkfire in big tournaments like candidates or world championship games players will have a ‘second’, which is typically one strong chess player (probably a super GM or close to it) who essentially assisted in preparing theory, openings, lines, helps with analysis pre & post games, studies their opponents, etc.
@@sam9239 thank you for the clarification! ❤️
Vishy is basically the og general leading the young Indian players into battle while teaching them life lessons along the way. I think Pragg has potential to be top 3 in the world his attacks are at times unmatched by anyone.
His nerves are especially good, too. It doesn't matter whom he's playing, either. Calm, cool, collected, and determined, invariably.
@@ClarkPottertrue you rarely see him defeated till after the game is finished, great skill to have for a chess player

the great Indian navy commanded by Admiral Vishy Anand. Congratulations to the Indian players, they are living a historic moment for their country and the world of chess. Greetings from Mexico.
Wow, what a moment! I’m sure Anand valued more this dinner than his world champion title.
Perhaps the answer of Gukesh about the rest day is the reason why he may become the Indian GOAT. He is too professional, too composed as compared to everyone. And that too at 17. It is staggering.
Cool concept. We get to see the other side of these players. More of this please. Vishy and the gang goes to dinner. Next would be- Vishy and the gang showoff their world titles.
Vishy and his boys & girls. He influenced an entire nation and future generations to come! What a legend!! ❤❤❤
Non chess person here. Vishy, AR Rahman, and Sachin were a lovely set of young idols for me growing up. They defined excellence in their respective fields while being classy on the personal side. So beautiful to see Master Vishy interact with the young padawans like this ❤
Passing the torch, thank you Vishy sir
Crazy to see these world class players absolutely star struck seeing Vishy. This new generation is crazy strong and he's the reason for it
We're watching history in the making, and what better curator to mentor the new and explosive talent India has to offer than the great Vishy Anand. When he speaks, we listen.
26:46 Vishy's question, " What's worse, losing, or losing before the rest day", and Gukesh's answer. Irony, that the exact thing happened yesterday in Candidates, and I hope Gukesh shakes it off and comes back stronger.
that’s exactly what I was thinking lol but luckily he won the next game!
True to his psyche, he thoguht he has a shot at winning tournament after this loss.
And guess what happened.. he didn't lose a game after that, and won the tournament 🥳🥳
24:05 Finally, Vishy answered what took him a minute and 43 seconds against Smirin. There are many videos on KZhead about that game, including one made by GM Hikaru, but everyone was speculating what might be Vishy's thinking during that time.

Vishi Anand..THE Legend..great to see him with youngsters and always backing them.
I love how they tried for a bit to talk about anything other than chess, but it's just so ingrained in all of them that it's what they all gravitate to
