is it just me? i felt like there's something in Junkyu's voice, his vocal uniqueness is so addictive just like rosé from blackpink. The way they delivered every phrase of the song, it was so good that makes you crave for more.
In terms of technique Junkyu is better than Rose but i agree their voices are both unique

But when I Love You era came, darn he sure had a major glowup. But that wasn't even the end of it. I can't believe that he got even better looking right now in MMM era!! Especially in their botanical garden photoshoot for the chapter 3 album where they were all wearing white. He looked so handsome there. he doesnt wear his earpiece throughout all his ygtb performances i think. its pretty insane.
He had some good monitors on stage. Artist can choose between InEars or monitors(speaker with the sound focused). xD Im not saying he is not a good a singing, just explaining the system so you don't make him a GOD. xD

The moment I heard Junkyu sang Seungri's part live during their Trace concert he became my 3rd bias next to Yedam and Haruto. He really has that voice that will relay stories throughout the lyrics while Yedam's voice is like a heavenly voice and lastly Jeongwoo's voice really improved a lot he has that voice that serenades you at the same time soulful. Thank God they cover BIGBANG's songs and that way I discovered them. Coz' I can rarely hear 4th Gen BGs with good vocal combination and self producing.

the reason why junkyu won here is bcs of his emotions.. his voice, falsetto, the emotions he put in every lyrics.. been watching this for i can't count how many times but im still crying over this. this just really hits different
IKR! No matter how many times you replay this perf, Junkyu really conveyed the emotion of the song as a whole. And not all singers can do it. Like most of YGs vocals, Junkyu have that raw, unique and soulful voice that can really makes him stands out from the rest.

The difference is, YG might not have the strongest vocalists even since Bigbang, but they have the most unique vocalist as well as rapper that make them stand out more than even the powerful vocalists out there.

IKR! he’s a softie, cutie and paboya every Treasure Map video that’s why we sometimes forgot how talented he is. When it comes to performances he take it seriously and sings whole heartedly.
What I observed rn is that new kpop groups don’t focus on vocals or somehow lacks in terms of vocals (tbh) and focuses in dancing only. But treasure has one of the best vocal lines in kpop rn. I can really say treasure serves not only dance and rap but also vocals. The best vocal line in their generation. I love them, STAN TREASURE

Honestly, Junkyu's personality is so colorful that people don't substitute his talent as his personality. He's a different man when he performs and when he is living his everyday life. It's both a pro and con because sometimes fans tend to underestimate his capabilities and see him as that funny guy--but his two personas should coexist in everyone's minds. Junkyu is both the crackhead sweetheart and the vocal powerhouse, no one should disregard either of those.
