Take note, yedam doesn't speak english but everytime he sings, his pronunciation and enunciation sounds like he's foreign. When i first heard him, i thought he grew up abroad, and that's what made him extra unique
He's been singing English song since a kid tho and he's taking an English class at thier company.
He practically grew up with English songs because of his parents who were also musicians

Why cant we win our digitals are bad but our physicals and streaming is not bad compared to all rookies that debuted this year.. other rookie who debuted also had low digitals..and about first win ..first win is not a criteria for roty dude ..also the one group who won their first win was in THE show which is so easy tbh its yg who dont send them there or else we would have gotten that in a go🙄
Quality voice, interpretation and emotion>> belter ,technical singer.. Yedam is one of the proof that u dont need to hit the highest note just to be called the best vocalist. Others may be better than Yedam in high notes but no one can interpret a song like he does. you can feel it coz he puts emotion to his voice and he has a good musical ears that he can understand what he's singing unlike other vocalist that were out of place when incorporating emotion to a song.. Diction and enunciation wise, Yedam excel in this category coz everytime he sing the lyrics, u can understand what he's singing without putting any subs on the screen. He's flexible when singing any language and can slay both even though he's a native Korean but the way how he sings an English is like he's being born native in the US... Ur faves failed in diction coz their main goal is hitting those dolphin notes and widening their range while they forget to fix their diction. Let them sing an English song and go back there afterwards and u will know what i'm talking about... Tone wise, yedam has the very heavenly tone that his riffs and runs could give u goosebumps and his head voice is very fantastic. The texture of his voice sets him apart from the other kpop male singers... He can play with the song elegantly and adding flavor to it that's why every cover that he does is for sure he slay.. Ur faves cover a song meanwhile Yedam owns and nail it... Last but not the least, Yedam has a god tier control of his voice.. From low mid to high the quality of the voice is still there that if he hit some high notes, he really doesnt sound annoying instead he keeps on getting better and better sounding as he goes higher... PS. Ur faves are also good.. I'm impressed with them but my ears really want something that it really wants...

I think Jeongwoo is very nervous and then he become more nervous when he heard Yedam hitting notes and doing runs and playing with the notes, you'll see in 1:53 after Yedam's turn his expression become totally nervous that's why when his turn comes he had a hard time hitting the high notes because he is aware that his part will come next and become too nervous if he can hit it right, and when he didn't you'll also see that he got dissappointed. You'll see Yedam reassuring him when he first do his high note 2:19 he nod at him Jeongwoo you did great, you always did 👏😊
i hope he’ll realize how much of a good singer he is. he doesn’t have to sound like anyone else but himself. we all know he looks up to yedam the most and he still gets really flustered hearing yedam’s voice when he sings, he idolizes him so much that maybe he can’t help but to compare himself to him. He’s still very young, he gets anxious abt himself easily. i really hope he’ll overcome this soon. His voice is beautiful just the way it is and i know it’ll will only get better as time pass by. Yedam achieved that kind of musicality through years of singing since he’s very young while jeongwoo just only learned singing when he decided to audition in yg. I hope jeongwoo would stop being too hard on himself and just enjoy every moment they’re on stage.
