Both of them are not extraordinary vocalists tho. They both have an amazing vocal colour and emotional delivery, but their technique is nothing beyond average. Yedam sounds quite nasal sometimes as well but yeah. They have that unique YG style but i still wish they could make at least one top noch vocalist, cause YG's reputation is not very great when it comes to vocals.

Don't get me wrong, Yedam was and will always be a singer that is too good to be true, but in this face off, my vote was for Jeongwoo. His voice and vibrato is SO natural and soothing to hear. If Yedam's voice was like autotune because of his sweet voice, Jeongwoo's voice was like the 90s voices you hear that can just send shivers down your spine because of how heavenly he sounds. Yedam tends to speed up the last syllables but Jeongwoo on the other hand emphasizes it. There are times when Yedam sings a little too speedy while Jeongwoo takes his time. But again, I LOVE them BOTH. ❤

이 프로그램 자체도 그렇고 양현석도 그렇고 예담이한테 부담 너무 많이 준다. 아직 고등학생인 애 한테 연습생 생활하랴 학교 생활하랴 24시간을 쪼개가며 생활할텐데 어린것들이랑 비교나하고 어린애들이 못한다는게 아니라 예담이는 저 나이 때 더 무한한 가능성을 보여줬고 그거에 양현석 지가 데려와놓고 애를 6년동안이나 썩힌 주제에 원석도 너무 갈고 닦으면 결국 빛을 잃기 마련이지. 제발 정신 좀 차려라ㅠ 그렇게 놓치고도 또 반복이냐 와이지 사장님 님이야말로 제자리걸음이시네요^^

I’ve noticed that the music yg releases usually sounds meh at first but slowly grows on you the more you listen to it. Ye Dams song was good but it honestly isnt something i would listen to on repeat whereas big bang and 2ne1 songs I can still listen to years later. Even some ikon winner and blackpink songs
