    @face76@face764 жыл бұрын
    • Hate to be that guy, but it's "behaved" not "behave". I realize that language changes, but some changes just make me... despair. One of those is the dropping of the "d" or "ed" from the end, that I've seen more and more these days. You can be biased, but you can't be "bias". You can be well behaved, but not "well behave". That's just poor grammar. I also find it somewhat dismaying that I speak English, which is not my first language, better than most people who've grown up speaking English.

When she was 13 she waited for me to come home from school to see me for the last time. She passed in my arms while I laid down with her. She tought me a lot and she was my first loss followed by mom 2 years later. Miss you mom miss you Misty. ❤

Docile like his cocker mother and really athletic and wanting to run around at the slightest hint of anything exciting or fun like his lab father. Such a loyal dog. I’m told the puppies would follow me in a line like ducklings, and I’d make them go to Puppy Camp, where they’d learn lessons, like how not to fall over as much, and making friends, and how to wear tea party dresses. You know, basic education. 😅 I was about four at the time. That dog didn’t leave us for just as long has he could fight to remain in this Earth. The world’s a little dimmer since he’s gone from it.

  • The fact that the children are at an age when they really love, enjoy and care for their pets is great, and makes all the difference for both pets, and owners. Nothing worse than to see an animal abandoned in its own home by kids that have grown older, and no longer care for the animals. It is sad. But that is not the case here. Obviously the kids adore their Mom, Dad, and canine sister and brother. A blessing, really. There will be a time when the kids will grown, and the animals will get less of their attention but then again, that happens even with mom and dad. By then they will be old, and probably most likely enjoy the quiet, and a bit of being left alone. The fact that they part so soon before our lives end is really sad. I know I could have enjoyed many, many more years with my beloved German Shepherd. The pain of losing her was beyond sad. From that day on, I never had another pet. Congratulations on a beautiful family. Stay strong, and together, always.

I haven’t been tempted yet to take anyone home, but I did get a little bit attached to a couple of these precious souls. I probably wouldn’t get a dog, but someday I would like to foster (living situation doesn’t allow us to do so right now). I walk these dogs to honor the special bond I had with my Romeo. It’s been years but when he left us he left a hole in our hearts. I still will cry for my beautiful dog. Hopefully someday I could give a similar but different kind of love to someone who needs a home, but for now I will do this. I hope someday you could do the same. Best✌🏼

When I was grieving after he passed way, I wrote a novella to honour him. The dogs are very intuitive and have feelings like us. I remember sitting with my dog and cried. My dog just kept quiet and stayed by my side. There is nothing incredible about my novella. But the dogs are amazing animals that worth remembering. Most of the dogs in my stories are real. Check The Puppy or the Plants at Amazon or Barnes & Noble. Merry Christmas and God bless u.

    • @@watchtellyinuk I know. And I would not say that last part. All I meant was that it’s great to grow up with animals. Of any kind. And my current cat does have a personality. She likes to sleep, meow, and warm my lap for starters. She also likes to try to escape. You clearly have never really spent a long time with a cat. If you get to know one you’ll see that they have personalities. My cousins’ cat will want you to pet him one second and be totally done with it the next. He likes to try to hunt outside and he also sleeps in funny positions sometimes. He is not a bore at all. I have a picture of him sleeping very strangely and it is funny and part of his personality. My cat also loves belly rubs. She is a lot calmer than my dogs but she does have a personality. Like how she will loudly meow in the middle of the night every day. My previous cats never did that. Also the 2 cats I had before, they both had VERY different personalities. Sasha the older one was the more adventurous of the 2. My parents said they named her that because when she was a kitten she would jump and pounce on feet. They named her Sasha because it is also a nickname for Alexander like Alexander the Great. Zoe was a scaredy cat (until Sasha passed and she changed a lot). I remember her meow was very quiet and kitten like and my parents said when she was a kitten you couldn’t hear it at all because she had been rescued from the streets and she meowed silently so as to not attract unwanted attention. She also was not a big fan of guests especially when she didn’t know them and would usually prefer to hide. She hid from me the first 3 years of my life. Sasha on the other hand reacted to the crying pink thing in her daddy’s arms by clawing at his legs. Luckily he was wearing jeans. All cats are different so don’t ever say they don’t have personalities. They do.
