I hope your referring to the dogs being purchased off BYB and puppy mills. Nothing wrong with buying from a ethical breeder, and there is a need for ethical breeders and the purchase of their dogs.
There is no such thing as a hypoallergenic dog. The least bothersome are short haired because they shed less. This hairy pup is not in that category. Afghan Hounds are an exception as they only have one coat like people. They don't have that under coat to shed. So dad, you aren't doing your allergic daughter any favors here.

@@cheekypiper512 Actually, you are totally wrong. Allergic reactions to animals, such as dogs, is caused by their dander, not their hair. It makes absolutely no difference whether they are long or short haired dogs. Any dog that produces dander will cause an allergic reaction in certain people. The maltese doesn't have the type of fur that most dogs have, they have hair that is similar to people. They are perfect for children like this little girl. Shedding doesn't cause allergic reactions. It's the dander that you breathe in.
See, you can tell that these kids have been educated on proper animal care, and I think more people should teach their kids to be this way. Props to the parents for doing such a good job.

Yep! Unfortunately some dogs are classified as hypoallergenic but they still cause people to have a reaction to them. I hope this doesn't happen with Chloe in the future!

Like those cute dogs on the streets which they walk like a human and its super cute. But the reality behind that is horrifying. I believe we should treat all our pets just like children.

@@jennifers2561 yes it definitely was, he is such a sweetheart but he barks at steNgers sometimes. We r working with him to try and get hi t O like humans again but he has had a bad experience with people when he was very little, but yes, it is definitely worit without a doubt ll.

My first dog looked exactly like Chloe- she was one of the greatest joys I ever experienced.
I love how chloe ran straight to violet so sweet it's sad to know she's allergic to dogs atleast she's able to own a dog. Now she will have a companion to get her through rough times.

I’m sadly horribly allergic to dogs and moderately allergic to cats. I never thought i’d ever have pets but I have 2 amazing cats now. Perseverance and the will to love helps me overcome the days when my allergies are the worst

AHHH THIS IS SO CUTE! Her reaction was PRICELESS, I remember when I got my dog my dad had to call multiple breeders for months till he found the perfect one. Chloe is adorable, I'm so glad she found the perfect home!

@@letolethe3344 my family home is too small for all the shelter dogs in our area. They are all one year old pit bulls. We have two little dogs who are perfect for our lifestyle and if we found small dogs in the shelter we would adopt them. We adopted shelter cats though

I am so happy that your family found a good puppy that your daughter isn't allergic to! It gives me hope. We adopted a whippet lab mix and found out 2 of our kids were allergic to her. The doctor told us that our son would start having breathing complications soon with allergy season coming up, so we worked quickly to find her a new forever family to be with, and she loves them dearly. We miss our Daisy, but she's happy, safe and loved.
That little girl reminds me of my daughter! She could spot a dog from 20 miles away. In mid sentence she’d stop and say .. doggy!! She’s 23 now and still does the same thing! Lol 😂

This was the BEST ‘INTRODUCTION ‘ ADOPTION day I’ve ever watched only BC of Cloe’s immediate reaction & excitement to the girls right after entering the apartment & even after only hearing the girls voices that were filled with excitement themselves Cloe BAILED as fast as she could right to them as if she had always been a part of the family ! Now , that was BEAUTIFUL!!!

I don't know why I cried so hard watching this. I can't imagine being allergic to the very creature that brings me joy. I unfortunately I can't keep dogs where I live, but when I move, best believe I am rescuing a maltese the first chance I get. I'm so happy she was able to finally find the perfect match for her.

My daughter was obsessed with cats from the beginning. Her first word was cat. She is 19 years old and she has never lived in a home without cats. I’m so glad this little girl finally has her dog.

Kudos to your family, dad. Instead of surprising the girls and possibly scaring Choe half out of her ears with the excitement, you prepared them. You required of them to make the place dog safe. And they did that of you too. Delayed gratification and anticipating gifts is sadly, such a thing of the past. Deserving the dog here was simply a moot point. I can't tell you how satisfying this video was. Planning, preparing, adopting, hypoallergenic. There wasn't a better fit for you and the pup! She is an angel, so are your daughters and wife. I'm severely allergic to a lot of different things. Trees, grass, molds, Animals like cats, horses, gunniepigs, birds and dogs. I went through taking allergy shots to atleast reduce the severity of my allergy. The shots went well, until I had a bad reaction to one and was put into the ICU (it's my asthma that's connected to the allergies, hence the hospitalization) I was on the shots for a long enough that my doc said my body would be able to handle most of what I'm allergic to. I'm able to play with dogs, but I'm still really allergic to cats and trees and some grass/molds. I now have a son who I unfortunately transfered my allergies to, he turned 8 this week and now I'm on my own journey to get my son a dog he and I can live with. I absolutely love this video, and it gives me hopes that I'll be able to do what this dad did and find a dog for my son.
If you go on the AKC website there is a section where it has all the breeds and you can filter by all hypoallergenic breeds. Hopefully this helps you find the perfect dog for you P.S you don't have to get a puppy I just think looking at all the breeds will help you find one in the shelter.
My son has these, and nickel, foods! and...lactose intolerant! blessings to you, not enough understand these allergies, they just think sneezing!
The dogs that are non allergic are dog breeds with HAIR and not fur. Maltipoo, Maltese, Poodles, Yorkies, Morkies...all have HAIR...

I had a similiar experience before quarantine! Once we had to pick up some stuff for our pets, We went to a small pet store near where we were gonna meet with my moms ex, we went in and decided to look at some dogs while we picked up the food, We met a bichon frise named max, He seemed really nice and cute, Ill get back to that later, i had to go with my moms ex since i usually stay at his house for a couple days, Once i got back i noticed my mom was holding a white fluffy dog, It was max! I smiled the moment i saw him, My mom told me that she got him for me! But he kept barking at us, And now we have a little white demon dog that always play fights with everyone

Oh that did my heart good! I feel that dogs (and or cats) and kids just go together and then after you've grown up with one...or a few you can't help but have them when you are an adult too! I am a huge dog lover. I can't have one right now. I live on the top floor of an apartment on a busy street and I work 8 hours a day 40 hours a week. So, at this point in my life I don't have a dog. I do however, have the most wonderful cats! I could feel the girl's excitement to get Chloe right off the screen! Ive felt the same way every time I adopted a dog or cat. What a wonderful family and with the addition of 4 paws now it is complete!

Two things: 1) I super love how much you all cared about it being a rescue dog as oppose to going to a breeder, rescue dogs, especially when it comes to needs likes being hypoallergenic, tend to get over looked in favour of going to a breeder and being able to go here's money, i want that one (I know it's not as simple as that but compared to rescuing it really seems like it) 2) the fact that you were willing to do this for you little girl even though it was going to be a rough time was so heartwarming and I'm glad you were able to find Chloe.

This video made me cry for more than one reason. My reasons: Because Chloe looks a lot like my dog that passed away a few months ago when she was very young, because a sweet dog gots a loving family, because Violet was able to finally get a sweet dog, and because of how amazing that father is.

@@rebekahg.8514 The way the dad in the video shows it, Chloe is for both of them. Although Violet is the one who wished for a dog, it seemed that Maisie wanted a dog just as much so it just worked out.

@@rebekahg.8514 Yeah, I can see that too. But Maisie doesn’t seem to have any problem with it. Besides, they probably just sent in the footage of Violet and Chloe hanging out because this video was about Violet finally getting a dog despite being allergic. I’m sure Chloe hangs with Maisie a lot too. Also, dogs can love multiple people but still sort of favor one. Our dogs are like that. Sherlock, our older one, favors my brother a little more than me. While Clue, our younger one, favors me more. But both dogs still love our whole family a lot ☺️ And also, who knows? They could get the younger sister a dog in the future. If they were able to find Chloe, they can certainly find another one 🤗

Their reactions were so cute! I am so glad violet finally got the dog she always wanted plus the BEST part other than chloe being a rescue is that she IMMEDIATELY went to violet first it's like as if she knew she was meant for violet.
