You aren't supposed to surround the referee anymore. It was a stonewall pen. No protestation should have been needed. Yet, how many of us were surprised it wasn't given?
This was a very very poor performance. We seriously lack a playmaker, as we're way too slow getting the ball and bodies forward. The penalty shout was frustrating especially when so many similar ones have been given against us. The season will come down to the games against Burnley, Forect and Luton.

Need to stick with a manager. It's not like Dyche has had good circumstances. He's not a magician and I truly believe he's the best man for the job.
The points deduction and therefore, the owners will be what takes us down. Blaming the last guy through the door because he couldn't stop the already sinking ship from continuing to do so, is scapegoating and near-sighted.

Can't afford to. Nobody to make that decision at the club. Can't afford a new manager. Nobody any better is going to want the worst job in the premier league.
Dyche just plays for draws with the same hoof ball tactics. When changes were forced on him and he had to act, we played 3 at the back at Villa in the Cup earlier in the season and won. He needs to use that formation again, or play Beto and Dom together, to stop DCL being so isolated. Or play Garner at RB, or reintroduce Patterson....Anything different, Sean, anything, cos we're just sleep walking into relegation. Dyche now has the worst managerial record in Everton history with Mike Walker!

The manager was obviously watching a different game. We were clueless, guileless and inept. Yes it was a blatant penalty. You had three weeks to work with the players and nothing has changed.
It's April next week and Dyche hasn't won a game since December. How can that be accepted, either by Moshiri or 777?? If 777 get the decision they will get a lot more people onside if they immediately sack Dyche.

Looks like finally we go down. There's only so many times you can get away with it before luck runs out. On this form, we're almost the worst side in the league. Which we will probably have to sell, to stop from going into administration (after we go down). Start on negative points in the championship, parachute payments swallowed by debt, any decent player gone on the cheap. Likely back to back relegations. Possibly stabilize in four/five years and start to build again. Similar to Leeds.

Hard to understand how the form has changed so drastically from getting the initial 10 point deduction to the recent form. No win since December and now moaning about penalties when we clearly didn't do enough in the final third to get anything out of the match. Start beto over Calvert Lewin. I looked at the line up and wasn't too confident. I don't see the transfer hype around onana. He is bang average. Also why has he stopped playing doucoure onana and idrissa in the middle as a 3 when that was working quite well? If you're going to play 2 Central midfielders then it should be gomes and idrissa I'm just tired of is being so shit. Total madness is keeping the same players and tactics which have resulted in 12 games without a win.And how our passion less players like Calvert Lewin didn't surround the ref when he was kicked in the area is unbelievable !!!! Dyche seems to have lost the dressing room and has totally demoralised the Academy players by his not good enough comments.Never seen an Everton team in my life time of 69 years so lacking in creativity and goals. Honestly think bearing in mind our negative manager and possible further points deduction and the obvious lack of fight in this team that we will be relegated.And it breaks my heart to say this.I was certain previously having teams like Burnley,Sheffield Utd and Forest,Luton in the league would save us.But even these teams can attack and score goals and I think unless we win the majority of our remaining games 2 of these teams will ever more points than us.Bring Joe Royle in as caretaker manager now and at least we will regain some fight. .ps Pickford continues to concede goals from crosses as he stays rooted to his line,time for Virginia to have a go.

Not sure what game he was watching , Young is nearly 40 what else is there to be said, what goes through Dyches mind when he brings him on. The only positive is if we go down Dyche will go , and that’s the only way I see it.
We were beaten again because everyone knows exactly how we're going to play, just no idea how to win a game. This man is useless, I've tried to give him the benefit of the doubt for far too long but the reality of it is he's not got a jar of glue. Just not tactically good enough for the premier League.

Screwed it up again. Workrate is great from the players (including Dom , who I thought fought well today). But when will the penny drop that the lone striker isnt working? Better reverting to type and going 4-4-2. At least two strikers keep the opposition defenders extra busy. Its easy for a defence to only have to worry about one striker. Dyche has failed to rectify this after so many games, even creating a worse record than Mike Walker, which surely must be enough to ring bells. If he doesn't go with 2 centerforwards starting with Newclastle on Tuesday he needs sacking imo as he's had ample time to view this issue and hasn't even recognised it yet. I like Dyche as a person as he seems a nice fella and no one wants to see anyone sacked, but it's too critical of a situation now to use any more excuses.
