The fact that 4 and 5 trailers actually looked like the game makes me even more hyped for 6
You know it!
Rockstar has never been known to falsely advertise their games. They have really high standards and would never show anything that wasn’t actually going to be in their games
Well Red Dead Redemption 2 proved that too though
Only the graphics are pleasing in GTA 6. It was very disappointing that all the women in GTA 6 are very fat and with saggy fat! Why were female figures so disfigured? There’s not even any variety, 99% are all fat! No aesthetics!
Gta 5s trailer looked worse than the actual game
It is amazing how each game changed a lot in terms of improving quality of EVERYTHING until the official launch. If there is people complaining about the graphics, the modeling or anything else that is shown in the GTA VI trailer 1, just see how GTA V from the first trailer looked and make your own conclusions

@@BaldNlgga635 I literally just said that I love how Iconic Michael's line is, but I also think Niko's lines meant so much more. Why is it that people like you thinks someone giving GTA IV some appreciation, automatically means they're hating on GTA V because it happens to be your favorite game you can't handle not being praised. If you got a problem about GTA fans loving GTA IV more than V, then just spit it out and let us conversate to understand what GTA V fans got a problem with GTA IV fans. I don't hate GTA V, in fact I think it deserves that love and popularity it gets, but I also think GTA IV deserves the same kind of recognition because it is just as great as GTA V, but if anything, I have my opinions and I still consider GTA IV to be my favorite, but I don't deny that IV has it's flaws, and so does V. I can determine what both games are good at and where they both fail at. I'm not biased, but I don't deny what is true and spit it out if it is a fact, but I also spit out some opinions. And if you're so fucking hurt about my opinion, you best reconsider your reactions otherwise you'll end up making a fool out of yourself. If you love GTA V so much, got make a comment of your own expressing what you think. That's what comment sections are for. I don't care if this is too long didn't read for you, you can always be weak at reading and get overwhelmed at long detailed and carefully well thought out comments, and I won't blame you for it. In my opinion still to this day the massive jump in visual quality from SA to IV was the most incredible jump in the series’ history. Back then in 2007/8 it felt closer to photo realistic than anything I’d ever seen
the physics
We’ll definitely never see a leap that big again, because we’ll never see a leap in console hardware like the one from the PS2/Xbox to PS3/ Xbox 360. That’s the main reason rockstar was able to do that.
The leap from 2 to 3 was much bigger
We're pushing the limits of photorealistic anyway, no game will ever has a leap that big again. That's why the improvement now is on the technical side (faster loading times, ray-tracing, optimized render distance, and so on).

GTA is known for having good and honest trailers as GTA 4 and 5 have been recorded in the game and never visually edited, so seeing how good GTA 6 looks is insane.
exactly my thoughts!
Never visually edited sure, but they definitely put some scripted animations in that you don't end up seeing in game in GTA V's trailer such as the people on the beach with their dog, the female joggers checking out the male joggers, & the hikers just to name a few. Still a crazy impressive game & world, but they definitely spruced the trailer up a bit. I'm just hoping all the insane NPC interactions they showed in the VI trailer actually make it to the final product.
Yes, your definitely right but I feel with GTA VI is that they'd add a bunch of animations that the NPC would randomly choose.@@MeadeJ67

I still got the same odd, thrilling feeling like i did back in the days as I saw that GTA V trailer. That strange feeling of anticipation of joy even I don't know what to expect but speculate all the opportunities I could have. I was watching detail analyses all night. It nearly felt like yesterday, but then I noticed it's been nearly 13 years .... Wow that game did something to me
I love how Niko was a critic of society with no illusions about glamour and the deceive of the American Dream; that was a clear mood on GTA IV. On GTA V, the trio was hardened on some problems of society: Michael understood how society works and played it along, Franklin was surrounded by idiots and was truly intelligent by not taking as much pride as his neighbours, and Trevor was an outlier living in the extremes of what was useful and terrible about this world. I hope that Lucia and Jason carry a good and clever perception on their societal environment: look at the trailer, it basically shows everything which is wrong and defunctional on the modern society - Florida at its best -, and they must get out of the box to make the things work; I hope that they manage to delivery a societal critic, enough to make them unforgettable.
Gtfo florida is more sane than any other state
@@Jiub_SN Man, the worst part of it all is the fact that you're right.
@@Jiub_SNNah I don’t see people tatted up to the max in other states. Florida produced island boys,Boonk,joker305,alligators walking in roads. I get other states like California is wild but Florida is another country it’s not even normal American out of control.
I miss Niko's broken English and tragic war torn stories. It made the game more terrifying and brutal and stimulating than GTA 5 by far. Trevor may be a psycho but it feels forced. Niko was a trained killer who had witnessed genocide in the Bosnian wars. GTA 5 was made to be comical but the main story of 4 is just really saddening it really evokes emotion
Niko reminds me of men I know. Good men, who were robbed of a childhood by Bosnia. Robbed of their whole families, for some.
@bayersbluebayoubioweapon8477 I'm sorry that has to be a reality. I don't know a ton about that war admittedly. But many haven't ever even heard of it. I like that Rockstar decided to make a campaign of their main franchise revolve around a real event in history like that. They haven't done anything like that before or since that I'm aware of.
@@cjsnidlio9409 I encourage you to study the Bosnian genocide in the daytime, on an empty stomach. I think many would prefer not to hear of genocide, of the greatest cleansing of people in Europe since the Second World War. I like that rockstar made a campaign featuring a victim as well. I think if they made one person curious about genocide prevention, they have succeeded.
And now GTA 6 story is like GTA V’s on story but on steroids
@gaminghedgehog6384 yeah I mean gta 6 looks like it's going to be a beautiful game and I'm sure it'll have a stunning campaign but I doubt it'll be anything like gta iv and I'd really like something more like iv. I'd really like the game to be in a different setting too. Florida is beautiful but I'd have liked to see a gta in Chicago or Detroit, Philadelphia, Baltimore and DC are all also heavily crime ridden areas. Although I'm sure Rockstar would never pick DC because that would involve detailing of capital buildings and monuments which of course people would act out terrorist events so sadly DC will never be chosen Rockstar can't have that bad publicity of people flying planes into the white house or pentagon. But personally I think Chicago or Detroit would make a perfect setting
Graphically, I think GTA VI will set a new standard for the gaming industry, I have no doubt that it will look as good as the trailer. There are some people think that this is a CGI trailer… ridiculous. Rockstar is bringing us to a new gaming era and this game might not be beaten in 10 years after release. Just hope it wont get delay again.
I see people hating for the sake of hating. I'm with you, this game looks great and the trailer as a whole was great. Gta is all about making a parody of the real world so people saying tik tok m stuff doesn't belong in the game is ridiculous. It's a big part of our society today and so it will obviously be parodied in gta.

GTA "IV" will never die. A perfect game for the time. Stunning with a great story. I liked that GTA 4 was a bit more serious than 5. Granted it had it's humor, but the story was darker and deeper. I'm really hoping GTA 6 will bring that back.

@@rockgod2131maybe, but I think their is more real potential for a hard hitting story with a Bonnie and Clyde situation than what GTA 5 had. Seems like it might be a tragic relationship of sorts
Come on man, GTA IV was, though, a good game, yet the dark theme made it estranged from the real essence of GTA.... Parody and fun.... Even San Andreas had a darker story, yet the game is still so relevant (almost 20 years) because it also had a fun element and that too extensively

"Why did I move here? I guess it was the bad luck or I don't know that thing , that things would be different or that magic " - Nico De Lucia
GTA IV was groundbreaking. The switch from San Andreas to IV was like switching from an old phone to your first smartphone. GTA V expanded the GTA world. More cars, more planes, more characters, more animations and dialogue. When I compare GTA V to VI, GTA V's world feels more empty. Vice City looks like it's teeming with life. You just see some of the details like the hair physics on the blonde woman, the eyes, the teeth, the fingers and nails. We are getting closer and closer to real, accurate humans. The accurate interior of Jason and Lucia's car... GTA VI is gonna be groundbreaking too! Rockstar will set a new standard for triple-A games.
You don't need to make the jump from V straight to VI. Just look at Red Dead Redemption 2. The graphics, gameplay, story characters, everything is incredible. Of course comparing it to GTA V isn't the best since the games are essentially different but it really shows how much love Rockstar puts into their games. Look at all the updates GTA Online has gotten

Visually yes. Yet when actually playing IV it felt like a downgrade from SA. The map was smaller and there were only helicopters. No planes or jetpack. You couldn't workout and alter your character's physical appearance anymore. No more custom lowriders. No more gang wars. The gameplay was lacking relative to SA.
Well said!
That's because too much customisability, at the time, would probably take away from the realism of GTA IV, no planes because of NY and 9/11, it was still a recent disaster in 2008.@@The_Gamers_Gamer
GTA IV was so epic for me as a kid because I remember saving all the money I had as a 10-11 year old kid to get an xbox 360 just for GTA. All the memories of online with my friends I still talk to and the endless hours I put into that game. GTA V was so much fun doing all the missions as a Junior and Senior in high school still playing with the same group of friends. I guess for me GTA VI is going to be special for me because now I'm 26 years old and married, and this might be the last GTA release before my potential first kids are born. To me, that's epic. I can't wait for my kids to show me the trailer for VII when i'm in the 30s 😁
I dont know why... yeah every old GTA is iconic and so on... but this NEW Trailer, this NEW Game, GTA 6... I love the trailer so much. Best from the three ones.
This is cool because you can clearly see the different themes that each game is going for. GTA IV - Serious tone. Color is less vibrant, music is intense, and dialogue is more obscure and mysterious. GTA V - Movie-like and parody aesthetic. Color is vibrant, music and shots are more theatrical, and dialogue is narrated like a movie. GTA VI - Love and trust are clearly the themes. Color is extremely vibrant, music is rock and roll with shots of people smiling and having fun, and dialogue reinforces the idea of love and trust.
I love the idea of the love and trust theme. In this cynical world, who would have thought GTA would be bringing us wholesome values ..!

Gta 5 still holds up as my favourite trailer just because of how they portray everything. The more serious take on life and movie like narrative. Gta 6's trailer is more of having fun, social media based game. I just hope that there will be some strategic gameplay with heists and planning like we got in 5. Other than that I'm really hyped to see more and get to play it in 2025!

GTA 5 is just fun and parties. Nothing was serious. Did someone from the family die? Did some wife/ future wife die? Did the main characters see children hanging dead in a church? Do they have any idea of what real war feels like?
GTA IV was the most ambitious and innovative, and took a risk with their fans who were used to the more arcade style up to that point in the series. GTA V was more complete, but less ambitious, aiming to please everyone by filling the holes left by IV (such as vehicle customization, planes, a countryside) I'm really hoping GTA VI can be both ambitious and complete.
I'm very happy that we finally have the first trailer for GTA VI but I have to admit that the ones for IV and V felt more inspiring. As Niko said: "Things will be different."

GTA IV masterpiece
Gta v -Why did I move here ?Guess It was the weather. Gta vi - Lucia Do you know why you are here? Bad luck I guess.
questions, followed by more guessing lol love it

V's trailer definetly is my favourite, it think the music fits best, the naration is awesome and it does a real good job of introducing you to LosSantos. Of course its hard to judge the newest trailer as we dont know the game jet and it will probably seem more icobic in a few years
I agree Gta V is the best. Also it really shows that out of the 3 protagonists Michael is really the main character
I like how it goes from showing how pretty the game looks for half the trailer to immediately showing a heist being committed in V.
I grow up seeing almost every GTA trailer, and in my own opinion, it's definitely GTA 6.
It does a great job of introducing empty streets. Los Santos looks dead compared to Vice City. Nostalgia is one hell of a drug I'll tell you that
Bro, i fell the same. Gta 6's trailer is so fucking good, but I fell five's trailer is deeper, the masterpiece of trailer from Rockstar. I don't know, maybe is nostalgic for me
dude the technological leap from 5 to 6 is insane, i use to think 5s graphics were top notch but 6 is really just somthing different, we’re getting so closer to genuine real life graphics.
imagine 7 now
It’s interesting how each entry presents a different style of cinema. IV is borrowing very heavily from Koyaanisqatsi, V is a trailer made in a modern Hollywood style, and VI revised this but has a notable sequence of social media/body cam/surveillance montage footage.
The trailers for 4 and 5 portrayed the in-game graphics accurately so if the same applies for the trailer for 6 then it looks the most beautiful game ever graphics wise
Cyberpunk with path tracing
yeah the graphical leap looks stunning but it's not nearly as surprising when every other latest game has light path-tracing and parallax mapping in it
@@puzzlepuddles6712its more about how filled/crowded the world feels in gta 6
Youre thinking of Ubisoft. Posting fake gameplays lying to gamers about graphics quality.
Absolutely. GTA V was even better in the game as well and as it upgraded to next gen consoles
I hope they bring back GTA IV era driving mechanics, where you earn that drift through the corner.
I hope they bring a series tone in the story mode like they did with 4
I hope for something in between 4 & 5. 4 was too floaty, 5 was too tight.
Yeah, real French Connection, or Bourne Identity.
GTA 6 looks insane and is one of the best looking games ever already, but I’ll never forget how I amazed I was for GTA 4. It took the biggest leap forward, going from San Andreas to the HD world.
Tommy Vercetti would turn over in his grave if he saw Vice City like THIS
@@user-sw5nc9pm9fif someone's turning over in their grave, that means they're upset about it
Gta 2 to 3 is biggest leap.
@@Takeit1500 that was a big leap forward, as in it becoming a 3rd person game. I was referring to it taking a big leap in graphics.
Me encanta que cada trailer se sienta la vibra de cada ciudad en la que se ambienta y no se pierda el estilo de Rockstar, sin duda es Gaming 🗿
Thousands of hours into GTA IV and V. Almost doesnt feel real that 6 is coming!
I remember playing GTA 2 on PC on the school computer back in the day, man, this game has become big since then.
La différence de graphisme est d'une violence. Merci pour ce montage qui permet de mieux se rendre compte de l'évolution.
I still remember back in 2007 the initial reveal of IV. Still looks good even over 15 years later.
2:18 I remember when this first came out we thought this was CJ running
I like how each subsequent trailer gets more Light hearted. It's in improvement in self awareness and satire.
finally the conclusion of the hd trilogy
gta 4 is still my al time favorite. It was such a huge leap at the time. I'm excited to see what 6 brings
Thanks for the edit, here you can clearly see that those who complain about the 6 trailer saying "it doesn't feel like GTA" have no memory of what it felt like to jump from the darkness of 4 to the vibe of 5 and now the 6 is in "Miami" or rather in "Florida" obviously the trailer had to reflect that.
Yeah man. They just living under a rock.
Leonida* Florida is next State to the Leonida State I Think
😂😂😂😂😂😂
I love it how Rockstar don't even showcase the final graphics and yet it already looks impressive for their times.
What i find amazing Is that the new market of young gamers at about 16-20 years old, never grew up playing gta Vice City or San Andreas, and so don’t truly understand how far these games have come. Im almost 30 and remember the very first time playing vice city, what a time…
damn... to think that it's been almost 2 decades of being in the HD Universe
We can't go beyond the HD Universe though, so we are stuck here forever
VR next

GTA 4 was a beautiful game and remembering comparing it at the time to San Andreas it was miles away. Comparing 4 to 6 almost feels the same. No matter the quality of graphics the joy has been in the insane detail Rockstar puts into their world building. Looking forward to this addition.
In what world are 4 and 6 the same. 6 has so much more details. I love 4 but you can‘t really mean that :D
They both look waaayyyyy different in my eyes. GTA 6 is set in a completely different place and looks so much more detailed and vibrant than 4. I love GTA 4's dark atmosphere and story and it's physics and gameplay mechanics are awesome but you guys gotta look to the future for once lol.
@@DailyShit. i think what he meant to say is comparing 4 to 6 feels the same as comparing San Andreas to 4
Oh man that GTA4 intro just gives me the chills absolutely amazing ahead of its time !! 10/10
"here we go again"
I really like to think that the line: "Look who's back" is just Rockstar saying that after all these years they are back with a new GTA.
They aren't back. I don't even think a single person who made previous games is there.

I still play through GTA4 at least once every other year, played through last year and this year. Regardless of its graphics, its a classic in my book.
this trailer is amazing, the leap in graphics, and it makes you more hyped.

It might be a bit too early to say this, but at this rate, GTA VII would have an expected release date of around 2045. GTA VI would likely cost $249.99 to purchase by the time it is released.
Nah but it will be a long time before we get another Rockstar game. And we will never get a hauser brother written GTA game after 6

There will be a greater introduction to the story in the following trailers I think this trailer wanted to do one thing and that was introduce the world and it did it perfectly
For me the art style and tone of VI felt off. It reminds me of Fortnite or something. Never thought GTA would ever feel like that to me.

That makes a lot of contrast in how society has changed in 15 years. Remember that in the end GTA is a degenerate and black imitation of our reality and I honestly no longer feel that it is very exaggerated Well, many of the things that were seen in the trailer are just as they are in reality.
Florida is just a wild place
@@serranopepperproductions5118not that wild, it’s really overblown in the trailer
