The estate sale gods have been very generous over the last 2 weeks! This video shows some of the axes, vises, hammers and more, that I've found recently. It's prime time for picking, let this video inspire you to go out and hunt for some treasure.

  • That Bell system is cool. A good friend just fond a really big Bell System axe head for my collection. I will be doing a video on it at some point. Love the vices. Got a few cheese boxes holding leather tools on my desk. Great haul. You got a new subscriber.

  • The machete displayed in the opening sequence of your video is of the Panga style made by Martindale of England with their trademark Crocodile emblem on the blade just above the handle. I have several. Originally made in England, some were later in Jamaica. Now, all are made in Thailand. The style of the curved forward portion blade is derived from East Africa and prominent in the Caribbean for slicing through semi-woody to woody stalks such as sugar cane. They are made of rolled British steel and are of excellent quality. Sharpness depends on usage. Higher bevel, sharper edge for non woody grasses and plants; convex bevels and thin edges for brute force slicing through woody materials such as bushes, vines and small trees. Check out the youtube channel Austrailan Machetes for excellent information. Great video if yours. Thanks. 🍁🦒

  • The ‘Barco’ Pulaski you showed, is it perhaps, Bahco? They are a Swedish tool company (now owned by SNA, Snap-on) and a re-brander of axes

  • I love these videos going through collections I’ve been meaning to start sone of mine. That Collins fire axe is sub1900. Hartford was Collins first location I believe so that’s cool I have a Collins Hartford Connecticut on a nice old octagonal handle. Also that stiletto on the 40 inch handle is something wicked
