What they’re measuring is Gigawatthours, a measurement of energy. Since a nuclear power plant usually puts out about 1 gigawatt, a gigawatthour is the amount of energy produced by that power plant in one hour. Since that number their probe is measuring is going up by more than 1 gigawatthour per second, that means the power being output by Hollow Earth is actually more than 3600 times that of an average nuclear power plant.

Except in that shot, Kong was holding Godzilla's head to knee him in chin, not break his jaw. If they wanted to do that, the writers and cinematographers would've made it pretty clear that thats what they intended doing, since its so iconic
I remember watching this movie on a plane going to Disney, and when the plane was about to land they turn off all the screens on the headrests and I'm like "Oh great now I have to watch this movie on the way back too? ...Cool!"

It’s 2019 at the end of Monarch and Kong is on an Apex outpost on Skull Island, what happened in those 2 years? How did Monarch reclaim him back from Apex to settle a bio-dome? Maybe that’s the S2 storyline?
