I don’t play anymore because of clan wars 2, I was a big fan of casual clan war battles, I wasn’t into latter, even tho I was at 6K but without the causal gameplay, i lost interest in the game

Great idea- this is what CR needs! More novel ideas! Not just more sparkies or guards spawning in. That’s not fun. We need new things like touchdown and chaos mode. We could even do a 5v5 or something like that, I think that could be cool. Or a clan thing where you work together to defeat a boss every month. Something to keep the game fresh, not just “clan wars 2! You do best of 3 against overleved opponents every day for a month!”

Well said OJ. I'm the leader of a clan currently and its tough. We are always first in the race but still don't finish the race. So we end up first place with the boot. It should be more like you keep going as long as u can, highest clan gets first, second highest gets second, instead of having a unreachable mark to even get a chest.

The anxiety is real! I just hate it when overleveled players mock me using laughing emotes and S#!T after defeating me easily, I just feel like not playing ladder anymore.
Me too. I stopped playing ladder was playing only challenges. Later i deleted and switched to brawl star.

This clan wars feals like "BETA Test" Rework for a clan wars was such a big project for CR team and i feel like they should create a "test server" that people will test is this rework is the way to go etc.

Can a level 7 king tower join ur clan ?
Instead of having 20 deck slots and going through hell every time you want a specific one I think they should make a feature where you can save a deck for every game mode and every time you play that game mode you can choose to use that deck or the deck you’ve selected

Last used deck. Dokkan Battle has this with events. You create a team and when you go into that event again it suggests the deck you used last for that event.

that was my favorite game mode in clan wars. its because both players got balanced decks to use against each other instead of in a mode like normal draft mode where you get random cards that make an unbalanced deck which makes it hard to win

i cant really blame them, since if you play duel and 1v1 battle you will keep getting matched to lvl 13. i myself also keep attacking boat because that the only non level dependant mode in CW2
Ya, 4 boats can team up on you as and hope that your defenses can block over 50 attacks
@@_Aidelweiss_ actually supercell update the boat system at some point and defend team is not lv9 anymore. So the boat now still is level dependant but just easier than deul.
the clan will attack the clan that is 1 or 2 or 3 or even 4 steps above them and will target 1 or 2 spaces below them
5:36:This happens more to me in ladder than in clan wars. In clan war duels, I get roughly same king level players, but in ladder, I get king level 10-13 players every other match when I am king level 8 in challenger 3
When they were making Clan Wars 2, I thought they'd introduce duel on top of existing game modes. Not sure why they didn't do that... and just left duels... But really, they can start experimenting with duel draft modes, etc. And add more game mode selections to each clan war season.

Thank you for your honesty and content like usual, as the leader of a full and active (but casual) clan, clan wars 2 has been toxic for us. We lost a few really solid players who just gave up on the game. I hope you’re right and supercell fixes this before its too late for us
I think in the start of Clan Wars 2 everyone liked it but now we all realize clan wars 0 and clan wars 1 where the best
When they said that clan war 2.0 is level dependant, we know they fxck up.
I don't think there were many that likes it at the start, it was clear pretty soon that it had some serious flaws
The clan chest was toxic tbh bc at the time you was able to move through the arenas extremely ez and just pub stomp lvl 1s as 13s and get the chest in 1 day or so
I miss the clan chest and actually wouldn't mind it coming back now since you can't just cheese it by dropping arenas.

Great Video. Here's hoping SC will make changes and soon. My clan noticed in the first 2wks how easy it was to win and hard it was to win against other clans in different time zones. I think War 2 has good potential but needs a rework to get players to engage more. I also think Attack another ship needs to be a must, with something like 50% duels n battles and 50% ship attack.
When I heard that Oj said that someone was saying good bye to a clan because of clan wars I felt that. I am no longer an active CR player but I started all the way back in 2016. And when I came to brawl stars I was in a club ( clans are called clubs in brawl stars) and I and my fellow buddies who I met in game got so attached that we started merging with other clubs and we started to grow super fast. We went from 300K trophies to 2.3M trophies in a few days. It was a great feeling until one day I realised that all the pros were taking up on our clan and we the fun grp of 6 people were at the bottom of the club. Me being at the third in the club because I had started to push wile they played competition entry had made a big gap in our trophy ranges. And yes my friends were asked to leave and they said that it was nice to be there and see this club grow but they never expected this day to come when they will be asked to leave I begged them to stay back but they said they don't want to be there because a person who can say to leave can say again and they just left. I also left the club with the same reason and joined their new club. They were happy to see me there but I was happier to see them with me. We are now in a 500K trophy club it's not that great but we enjoy.
I feel bad about that but the same exact thing happened to me in CoC was a Co -leader in a clan for 6+ years. The leader was bored to play . For 6 years i did everything to make the clan better . Eventually after 6 1/2 years they said that they were bored of the game and they wanted to try some new games . That was the last time i talked to most of them 😢 They never came back... In the end we were just 14 members in the clan From 25 to 14 parkour P.S Sorry for the bad spelling im just trying, ok ?

I stopped playing clash royale one to two months ago just because the clan wars 2 matchmaking is so bad. I was a level 12 king tower with level 10-11-12 cards and it matched me with max level 13s. I literally didnt win a match.
Same, won some but more due to luck, misplays and underleveled rival. I really enjoy the game but the matchmaking, crashes, braindead decks and now the cw2 system kill it for me... came back a couple weeks before the update and I'm close to abandon CR again

This is exactly how I feel about the game. I just left my clan of almost 3 years and uninstalled the game due to the fact that clan wars is way to competitive as I was always just a casual player and the game just doesn't feel that fun to me anymore. Really hope they bring back the casual play and tone down competitive play a bit and I might just reinstall the game.
Thanks for this video. Really shows our frustration. I am in an active clan, we are always ahead in clan boat race BUT unable to cross the finish line... For weeks! When the week ends we are around 40000 throphies, and 42500 are required for the finish line. So even though we are ACTIVE EVERY DAY, we are all week ahead in FIRST position... WE STILL GET A BOOT! that just sucks and is really demotivating!!!

Well said OJ well said, the reason I stop clash was bout clan wars 2 and other modes and ladders sadden me when I really lost the feel for the game
I was hoping you mention on the unfairness of the different time zone cooldown reset to in CW2. Literally, every clan has different reset cooldown period. It's impossible for my clan to win even when all our clan members played the war, because the other clans had a 12 hours cooldown vs ours a 16 hours cooldown. The additional 4 hours on the 2nd day made the whole difference in winning 1st and 2nd. Supercell team really need to think this through and fix a patch or something for the next update..
I actually hate the Clan Wars 2.0 and just stopped playing. Clan Wars 2.0 demand too much maxing of cards in order to build a decent deck and there's not enough gold. The game just became tedious and very discouraging to even play.
The one thing i don't like about clan wars 2.0 is that for smaller clans, its basically impossible for them to complete the entire boat trip, so in the end, you only get the boot reward which sucks. So now basically if your in a smaller clan, its a greater chance that no one is even gonna bother to compete in the clan war because everyone knows they arent gonna get the top rewards.

Very well said, I like that you brought up touchdown because it's a good example of a game mode that's optional rather than something we are forced to play. Tons of players (including myself) don't care for touchdown mode but it wasn't ever an obligatory game mode, it was optional always. The problem with clan wars 2 is how mandatory it is, making something mandatory is already bad enough as it is, but they didn't even make clan wars 2 fun. It is literally just a stressful week long race to the finish where you're either fighting to cross the finish line or you're sitting at the end in first place with nothing left to do. The best parts of clan wars 2 are definitely the duels and the PVE boat battles, but they aren't implemented correctly and it results in them not being as fun as they should be. I'm a level 13 F2P player, and I'm far from done upgrading all my cards, so getting slapped by fully maxed out players every week has certainly drained me. I hope they bring a great many changes to clan wars 2, because God knows it needs it.
Great video addressing this matter. I'm a leader of a clan and like most casual player clans. I am losing members. Before whenever I kick an inactive member it will only take less than a day for a new member to join in. But now I'm down to 44 members and I think 5 of them are inactive. If I kick them out then I'm down to 39. Now it's really obvious my clan is not active. I love the game. Supercell please fix this.

I find myself only playing challenges and party modes the level difference on ladder and clan war makes those modes literally unplayable.
I used to be in a very active clan with my friends and we were in gold league. When clan wars 2 came out we tried it. It didn't work. A few of us still play the game but removing old clan wars just killed the game for us.
I don't know that I'm the only one that love the touchdown mode until now.... You guys can say it's boring but at least it's different, that's why I like it especially the barbarian helmet

If they removed the Party Modes I would likely quit the game. Removing it would be even bigger of a deal than the addition of Level 14 imo.
oj just said everything on my mind , you explained everything very well this update feels more like a downgrade rather than upgrade the only reason im still playing now to be honest is because i love the comunity and content creators and chatting with my clan friends , other than that i would've left long time ago and after this update our clan is slowly dying which is sad because i really love this game but we hadn't got a new content since touchdown , everything beside that is just ui change and skins nothing that change the way we play the game

Honestly didn’t see any mistakes today OJ! Nice work! Also my view on cw 2: I’m a mega casual, so when I saw it and my friend told me about how trash it is (he’s more gamer than me), I just didn’t even bother. I still love this game, but it’s getting slightly repetitive, the same xbow or golem beat down decks over and over again. I don’t play nearly as often as half a year ago.
Good video. I too am from the Sega Master system era.. lol (can't believe how time flies). I love clash royale, I think it's the best mobile game ever. If supercell can give the community a couple of new ways to play the game and just make progression slightly easier then people will come back. It took me 2.5 months to get my rare card from lvl 12 to 13... It's just too long, because I play every day.
The Biggest Problem with Clan Wars 2 is Supercell is Forcing us to build 4 Decks n half wouldnt be good bc you can't reuse cards its combined with random cards that dont pair well. Duels is Terrible! I'm a 2 Trick Wonder. I Only use Log Bait and Royal Giant. N these 2 decks are the worst archetypes in the game bc Supercell wont Nerf cards like Hog Rider, Wizard, Mega Knight, Lightning, etc. Supercell Needs To Fire Seth n The Current Dev Team bc they're treating the game like it's the Last of Us Part 2 and Death Strandimg.

We need an ingame deck book. A seperate menu you can pull up where you save bulk decks. Im thinking like 100's of decks. There are more then 10 archetypes and if you like to play them all your forced to remember decks, remake and clear other decks you may also want to play All it needs is for you to see the whole deck and be able to copy and paste. Im thinking either a name or icon that you can tap and it will drop down a menu of the 8 cards. Then probably another button giving you the copy paste options. You shouldnt be able to set a deck in the archive as active but it would serve as a easy library in which you can move cards in and out of your 10 deck slots.
I left clash royale year ago but 3 months ago i started watching OJ's clash royale videos, it made me realize the fun but not the reason why i left. I played till now climbing till leagues but clan wars 2 really disappointed me and now i actually left the clan and I don't wanna play anymore. Maybe i will visit the game if theres anything new but now it's really boring.
