ASMR Night Drive: Interstate 95 Between Philadelphia & Wilmington
No-speaking evening car ride heard from the driver's perspective and viewed from the rear passenger side of Interstate 95 between South Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and Wilmington, Delaware.
Stay tuned for more scenic drives day & night, clear skies or rain, throughout the mid-Atlantic region (possibly other regions of the United States, but no promises yet).

The unique thing about this video idea is that you get the relaxation of being a passenger and enjoying the sounds and views, with none of the background noise of the animal brain giving intrusive thoughts about the possibility of a wreck happening. Which I think prevents me from true relaxation while actually in the car. But THIS. This is it. Great vid ER! -viewer for 10 years
You haven’t watched the entire video yet, maybe he do get in a car accident.
@@ragnard0967mm sure. And uploads it. Right on. 😂
@@nickhayley not all car accidents are deadly.
Is this some weird way of asking for "ASMR Night Drive: I Intentionally Wreck My Car" ? lollol
@@EphemeralRiftplease, if possible I mean
The only time in history driving on I-95 has been relaxing
I loved night drives as a child, always woke up just at the point of arriving but pretended to sleep to get carried to bed. Surreal experience~
same here
i love how his profile picture is getting more and more shattered and im all for it
Representing his sanity 😂
It's literally just abstract art now.
This reminds me of all times me, my dad, and my sister would drive a state over to visit my grandma. It would always be dark when we finally got to her house, and those long drives could be very soothing
Love to see how different places in the world look like❤
I like this video. A lot. One of the most relaxing things for me is sitting in a car, listening to the low roar of the tires on the asphalt, and watching the scenery fly by. I speak for many others in saying that I think you should make more of this content!
Same! That's why I'm staring this new series. Plenty more coming!
This is one of my all time favorite OG asmr triggers. I had a really scary childhood but there were those times when my family was in the car; it was quiet and I could stare out the window, mesmerized by the fast moving world beyond us or I could close my eyes and just listen to all the car sounds...it was so rare that I ever felt safe, but on some of those drives, I did. THANK YOU. I'll absolutely be revisiting this video often.
There's plenty more scenics drives in store (day and night)!
When I was younger, my Dad used to drive me in my car seat on the highway when I could not sleep. To this day, I always fall asleep when I'm a passenger on the highway even as an adult.
Always love your Philly content. I remember years ago when you went on Preston and Steve! That was insane to hear on my way into school that morning haha.
lol i forgot all about that!
That's literally home for me that area is so recognizable. I love this video so cool.
delco boy fr
I always forget that uncle E is local to PA. Shoutout to Kennet Square my home town.
Grew up in that area. Hated every minute, finally moving away was probably the greatest moment of my life
I love night drives, I find them very peaceful and relaxing so this video is perfect. Chefs kiss
Legit reminds me of the car rides my mother would go on to bring me home from my grandmother every other weekend as a child. I live in Denmark so especially during Fall/winter/early spring it was always dark. Something about the yellow lights and the lack of many cars on the road...it was like another, timeless world. Didn't think i'd re-live that memory here today.
Thank you ER for the free ASMR ride. ❤
haha anytime!
I personally hate this stretch of I-95 but when you do it, it’s calming
This is why I love your content. Something new everyday.
This is incredibly nostalgic for me, thank you for posting.
I remember this feeling, falling asleep to a view like that when I was still a kid. Makes me think of better and simpler times, thanks a lot for that❤
Just casually watched you drive by my job and it was like a flashbang lmao
Reminds me of going on vacation, thank you Paul. 👍
As soon as I saw the video title Kavinsky - Nightcall popped into my mind. so i just have it playing really low in the background, and i have to say. its a really trippy experience(in a good way). hard to explain some might say.... Thanks for the videos Rift, I know I always enjoy them.
Such a great song! And film!
Was not expecting to see places I live near in an ASMR today but here we go. \o/
I love car rides, here in Spain the "siesta" in the car after lunch time hits hard. pd: Love your content ER!
I love the yellow lighting at night. I find it so much more relaxing than the LEDs some cities have.
I still remember, when I was a child, how relaxing it was to drive with my dad. To get me to sleep, he took me for a drive: relaxing and peaceful moments. I love my dad. Thanks uncle ER for reminding me of these moments.
late night long drives with airpods are relaxing.
I love this video! I used to go to a beach at summer with my family that is 1000 km away, and we always went there in night, this is so nostalgic i love it.
I have a drive to the beach / night walk on beach planned next!
Wrestlemania 40 in Philly last weekend was incredible
More asmrists should do this but also add talking. Like an rp of you and friend go out for a night drive or something. Idk maybe it just sounds good to me.
interestingly enough i was in philidelphia a week ago. thanks for posting uncle e!
Thank you for doing this
Makes me feel like a little kid going for a car ride. I miss those days. I rode the same route through Philly and Wilmington on my way down to Maryland from upstate NY. Thanks for this!
miss those days too! probably why I'm starting this series lol
I live outside of Wilmington so watching this is like driving through memory lane. I hope to meet you one day sir
Road trips are very nostalgic for me since my family used to move a lot when I was growing up. Sometimes by bus or by plane but most often long car rides through states
I love this thank you for making this video I love car rides somereason it puts me to sleep .
This is just fantastic ER, I’m a very tall person so sleeping in the car on a long rid was always so difficult. But now I can have the view and sounds and lay perfectly flat I’m my bed thank you so much .
Quick fast and silent flex

It's great, thank you
Much love from Delaware make this drive all the time for the games and to enjoy the great food up there
Love this
You gotta go through i95N to Connecticut & Rhode Island! There's great scenery and it holds a special place in my heart bc of car rides through there when I was younger.
That's quite a ways up North, don't know if that'll ever happen, but i'll add it to my list ;) I actually want to the ENTIRE I-95 drive lolol doubt it'll happen tho
😮😮😮😮😮 Paul it's beautiful and unbelievably great idea
My family would drive from MN to FL every summer to visit family when I was a kid. This is what I loved, just looking out the window
I'm actually pondering that drive myself. Obviously can't film the entire drive, maybe timelapse, I don't know. But we'll see if that thought turns into realitylol
I love driving at night with no music, so relaxing
It's the best!
Damn, this is my exact drive 5 days a week.
This should be livestreamed as well. Could be cool to see live.
What a unique video idea for ASMR!
If you like these, asmr jeremiah has a few similar ones going through Dubai.
I mean articulate design asmr.
Wow ❤
My family used to save enough money for us to go to France every year. The drive to Dover to get the Ferry and the drive back always made for the most relaxing experiences when I was a kid❤️

love 95. use it to get to my friends house from NY to Boston. very good highway. hope its as good over there.
Ephemeral Rift, I subscribed because your videos are super cool!

I’m from southern MD, Uncle E, but I’m surprised how similar everything looks. We’re really not far from each other geographically at all! Hope the trip goes well!
I'm going to Los Angeles in June, from New York. And i don't want to spoil myself. Especially since I love driving at night.
Reminds me of driving from my home state of Connecticut to Pennsylvania and back
POV: the soothing sounds and relaxation already begin as you're being escorted to Arkham Sanitarium
Never thought anyone but my mom would drive me to sleep but here I am
Thanks for driving around in USA 😊
I happen to live in Southern Maryland. I-95 is really crucial for connecting us with Baltimore/DC. The Francis Scott Key Bridge, aka I-695, was attacked last week by a runaway barge and did catastrophic damage. It will be closed indefinitely. Other routes crucial to Maryland include both US Route 13 and US Route 50
This is a road some people drive every day. They experience the sights and sounds of this road every day. And I have never even heard of this stretch of road. And I have my own stretch of road I experience every day.
Its kinda funny, I flew from Texas to Philadelphia for the first time today - and this is undoubtedly the farthest I've been from home - and you've uploaded this video a day before my arrival to the airport you drove right by. What a coincidence, lol (and omg, the amount of hills in PA, wtf! I'm not used to views including anything but flat grassland lol!).
Your legs are gonna be hurtin' sounds like! ;)
@@EphemeralRift they already are, but the fantastic views are worth it :')
No way ER made an interstate driving video! I watch these all the time.
And more on the way!
You should come drive through Jersey some time! The turnpike is god-tier
i actually have something planned for next week! ;)
A night drive down Kensington Ave would be fun
I did a night drive for no reason other than to clear my head about a year ago. Ended up in a country town about 79 miles away, bought a bottle of water from the 24/7 fuel station and drove back. Didn't take too long to get to bed once I got home.
Greetings from Delaware!
If you ever get the chance Linn Cove Viaduct on the Blue Ridge Parkway in western North Carolina (particularly during the fall) is beautiful. Many trails and picnic/camping areas along the route. And a tour of Linville Caverns on Grandfather Mountain
Another Fascinating place to visit is Cades Cove Scenic Loop in Blount County, Tennesse. 11 mile loop around the Cove traveled by vehicle. Several walking trials as well.
This whole time, this dude lived somewhat around where I used to live... crazy
Born raised and never left PA. Not sure if it's a good thing! ;)
POV: you're dozzing off in your seat but you know you'll get home, no matter who's behind the wheel
I know so many people who instantly fall asleep in the car, this is genius
ER was on Girard ave and I missed it! I could’ve looked out the window :(
Reminds me of when I fell asleep as a kid in the car
Am I the only one seeing that parkour guy from my childhood through the window?
I think he even can sit on the toilet and whisper something and it would let me sleep in seconds. But the sleepy dissonance video is the best I ever heard. It would be nice if u can show what u really we're doing there😂👍
Spider man is chasing us rn and u don’t even know 😎
Hey I recognize some of those sights!
Come do this on the Parkway! Wouldn’t be as calm though with all the honking I constantly hear 😂
I definitely plan on more drives (driveabouts?) so i'll try to squeeze in a drive (day or night) in center city
@@EphemeralRift have you ever done Lincoln or Kelly drive? Definitely gorgeous scenery! I was driving home today and it was slow traffic for once, so you could really take it all in :D
It’s that.. almost New England feel
Mid Atlantic?! Oh snap if I find out you come through Spotsy on 95 I'll do a backflip haha.
i don't even know what/where that is lol.
I'd enjoy the ride
You should do a Drive across the United States video!!
I actually thought about that! It’s on my list. Whether it’ll actually happen is another thing..
yeeeaaaaaa delaware again 🦅🦅🦅🦅🦅
I see I-95 I’m like omg i’m near that forgetting were in the same state lol
I have a friend whos going to work at that shipyard wild
Ephemeral Rift VERY GOOD
Delco asmr!
My mom has also 2012 Honda Civic its good choise
😂 and this is the last thing uploaded by my garden gnome before going off the grid forever.😂
amazing. I've never been to America and, considering that I live in Russia, it looks like I'll never be able to go.
Hmm how could we make this better 🤔
My European Mind Cannot Comprehend This
POV You are a kid and you left home to go on vacation before the sun rose I miss those days
I drove at night once and it was so dark I had to put my headlights on
And i'm totally fine with content like that
I am dyslexic and I had an *EXTREMELY* unfortunate first read of the word Philadelphia when i saw the notification and I was so confused and concerned at first 😅

Hello Uncle E - I do hope you're doing well, and that pfp change doesn't indicate an expression of mental dissolution, or the process of such.
I'm in a psychiatric ward as I write this. Gotta go! Time for my shock therapy!
Yo Philly boi !

Ephemeral Rift: When you combine two jobs of ASMR and Uber driver
If this was an april fools episode you bet paul would be cussing people out quietly through the whole thing.
