The impact losing can have on an athlete's performance and confidence can be devastating, but what about the impact of defeating the greatest in the sport? Naomi Osaka is a rare example of how the body can react to situations that trigger fight or flight in a way that has done massive damage to her confidence and play.

  • No it was because the crowd was booing and she felt like they were booing her and were mad she was winning

  • Nonsense. Williams has thrown temper tantrums as a professional....for years. Osaka has had a terrible team around her, along with lousy nike pr and bad direction for her career. All woke mentality around her... This is her and her teams downfall. So sad to watch...she always looks sad. Even prior to 1st grand slam.

    • Naomi needs to take accountability, whites tried to use her against Serena but that ultimately failed. Good thing Naomi never fell for the BS and rather became friendly with her.
