That guy spent the whole fight running or holding. It frustrates the crap out of the other guy, but I guess that's boxing. But the other guy needs to know how to deal with fighters like that.

Always entertaining to see my fellow Fijians fight, I'm not saying we're there yet but it's nice to see someone with innate talent and good physique for once. Now can we get this guy a good coach so he can actually go places in the world. He's a rough gem for sure and as we all know even the best gems won't shine unless polished by a master craftsman.
Thailand guy was very technical. Me vakaibalebale jiko na ivacu ka me rawa jiko kina na kai. Ra dau kaya na trainer lelevu, "Hit and don't get hit" Cawadru jiko, ke warai iko na dodo.
As a full blooded Fijian. Pom clearly deserved the win and nothing should be taken away from his victory. He showed sportsmanship and took the cheeky shot from glove touch well. The commentators were biased. Taking the centre doesn’t mean Jack shit if you can’t cut the ring off. Yes, Mikaele was taking the initiative, but Pom lead the dance. Credit to Mikaele for showing a great engine. I hope he builds from this & looking forward to his next fight. To summarise the fight. Mikaele = Front foot heavy Pom = stick and move

Couldn't agree more, less wild man and pay attention to your corner when they are giving instructions - as the good book says, pride comes before a fall? He has heaps of potential, but he needs to learn to control his emotions.

The Australian was running away all night and it's surprising that he awarded the win. How did that happen?
Fiji fighter running around the ring wildly swinging punches everywhere scoring the odd point at best doesn't make for a skilled boxer ...the guy wouldn't last a round against an average American or most other overseas boxers at that level, the commentary showed how little they know about boxing also...The right decision all the way
I think his doing good because it's jst his first fighting professional and his not bad at all and he has learned something out of it...

Dont know what fight the Commentators were seeing..... The ozzie controlled the fight from range. Ravulaca needs to close the distance better and let his hands go. He has the deception and speed of Sakaraia Ve but needs experience.

Good fight. Good decision. The champ won professionally. Fijian boxer needs a lot ahead of him. Shoulder defense needs to be perfected. Footwork needs Mike Tyson style and head movements. Take him to America 👍
as a boxer, I can say Ravo has talent and potential but his defence is poor and game plan was a bit rushed. His speed and power on the other hand are something to look out for. If he had baited his opponent on the first beat he may have been able to counter with a hard shot but unfortunately he wasn't able to make good contact and was outclassed by the finer boxer. Watch this space, great work Ravo!

@@mereonyemm-bo1uy not everyone. Needs to be humble and have discipline in the ring. Also needs to give his opponents some respect. Has a lot of potential but lacks good footwork and needs to line his shots up more perfectly if he wants to be an aggressive/offensive fighter.

Good decision. Ravalava is strong but has no skill. He did land a few shots within his explosive recklessness. Pom agreed ,was more defensive moved well boxed from the outside was the far more accurate counterpuncher. Both D grade at best.

Everyone seen what happened in the Rolly vs Rossoro fight boxing has become a joke. Fijian kid dominated Pom and they robbed him. Disgraceful
Some may call it running, but the art of boxing Is "To hit & not get hit." Pom was doing exactly that 👏🏽 rava didn't close the gap and didn't stick to a game plan. He definitely landed solid shots, but Pom overall scored more points throughout. Rava is definitely talented and has explosive skills but pom was the more experienced and used that to his advantage.

The fighter with the red gloves CANT FIGHT!! HE THROWS NO JABS. No setup punches/ combos, No upper cuts, NOTHING BUT HAY MAKERS & POWER SHOTS!! He controlled the center of the ring & did nothing with it. He just stood in front of POM just waiting for him to throw so he could counter. Or he jumping & flying all around off balance, no control, no ring IQ, no step up punches/JABS. He ASS AF!! The other fighter wasn't that much better but his ring IQ is way better & he adjust well. He's not so emotional, like the other fighter was. Not easily frustrated like the one with the red gloves. They made the right decision 💯

Please he Has Speed But Much Work is NEEDED, Train him to Use his Body Angles to be able to Use Better POWER. NEED to Watch How Davis Punches in POWER and in that TUA or Tyson in Hooks. The Angle of Hooks Can NEVER be an Full arm strike, It Has to be at an angle Close to the Body. POWER is Founded in the Body to Shoulders. Kudo's to the Fijian raw talent. Fought a bit like Shaun Porter. He needs to be trained by/like Tank Davis and he will get better. Boxing means controlling the distance and pivoting angles, jabs and counters and great foot work. If you are lucky, you would win like Teofimo over Loma, only to lose to another Aussie dog fighter Kambosos who lost to a real boxer, Devin Heney. We have a great match up, Loma Vs Heney at the end of this month (May 2023).
