  • One of Benavidez's strengths that i never hear anyone mention is the way he turtles up behind his gloves and soaks up all the punches. His hands are so long that he can protect his face completely while still protecting his liver and body. He just stands in front of his opponent with his guard up, and they are unable to hurt him.

    • is funny how canelo haters ignore the fact that canelo has never been dropped in the canvas in his entire career, even at 175 as a 5'6 height, his never been down yet david has, even tho david has improved way more, he still has a glass chin. Of course anyone can win but haters acting like benavidez will just walk easily over canelo. Canelo will counter david khan style.

    • @@Brucelee89896Canelo was dropped by Jose Cotto. Got knocked into the ropes and was held up by the ropes. That's a knock down but the ref didn't call it. Just like Judah made Mayweather touch the canvas with his glove but ref didn't call it. And if you pay attention Canelo was hurt. David was not. David was dropped but it was because he was coming in open and off balance. Look at it closely

  • Canelo has more power and better defense, he is the master of walking his opponents down, those that beat him did it by staying at range and limiting his counter opportunities, Benavidez won't be able to do either of those things against Canelo. He will try to walk Canelo down and will sooner or later end up walking into a counter that will hurt him more than he's ever felt, and I doubt he'll have a plan B after that. That's assuming he even gets through Andrade, I doubt it will be as easy of a fight as most of his fans are making it out to be.

That's why he batters these guys. And since it's not enough to do they just keep getting battered until ref or corner stops the fight. Also his Defense is underrated.
