I can't set my zip code for Canada. I'm guessing it's not available in Canada?
looks nice . always 1st choice for middle class ONLY WHAT IS UP W/ BOTTOM FRONT GRILL? it was on Lexus(S), and now on Toyota.. explain our Japanese friends IT LOOKS UGLY!!!!!!!
I was 100% sure that you faked that front grill in the thumbnail! 😂💩🤦
I really thought Yuri photoshopped the thumbnail for effects. But now i know, its just Toyota.
lmao same
As much as i hate some brands making giant grills (bmw) toyota actually made it look good here
Same 😂
@@Ted_Kenzokubmw grilles grew on alot of people including me. Seeing it in person is a huge difference
Yeah, I was blown away when I realized it was real.
Toyota is having it’s redemption arc
totally agree with you mate. they are doing some awesome job recently in design.
I mean the old camry was goated too, this isnt a whole lot better
For sure. I have a 22 Sonata at the moment but I will be trading it in for this when the time is right.
No thats hyundai and kia. Toyota and jeep are on a downfall right now
Not true. No V6
For those who are worried about battery replacements, since all Camry’s are hybrids: Historically, Toyota’s Hybrids have been more reliable than their gas-only counterparts, EASILY lasting you over 300k miles if you treat the car properly. The amount you save on gas across those 300k miles alone can pay for the oh-so dreaded battery replacement, if you still want to replace the battery 20 years from now.
Cool, but are they replacing it under warranty for that 20 years?
@@Jasiel.95just for 10 years. Toyota's batteries cost like 1/3 of the competition though, so regardless, you're not looking at a totalled car when it does come time to replace
Yeah, a new battery only costs like 3-5k and has a 10 year 150k battery warranty. More thank likely won’t need replacement until 200-400k
@@Jasiel.95 Plus all models being hybrid you can find used healthy batteries from totaled Camrys very easy, just like you can a used engine
the price of battery and 10k over the price of gasoline only car ( I am no acounting for the dealership screwing) - yeah, you save nothing on gas.
Your thumbnail edit was closer to the actual car than I expected
Now here's the question... Is it an edit?
@@TheUnreadableUser haha im not sure, it might just be a wide lens effect or an optical illusion!
Is it real? Will it stay forever like this?
Who hurt Toyota?
Capitalism
Hyundai & Kia
I had to double-check. Thought it was a different model at first.
Mazda's new inline 6
No offense, but the only way a Hyundai or kia can hurt Toyota is by parking next to it and catching fire or break down, as they usually do, not letting the Toyota leave the lot. I'm sorry, dude. Troll somewhere else.
honestly so infuriating that toyota isn't selling the camry in europe anymore. European maket is really missing an affordable sedan right now
Does Europe not have the Corolla? I know EU has the Yaris, tho.
@@TheReal_JG Corolla only comes as a hatch, at least here in Germany. Unrelated but also annoying, the Corolla here starts at 33k€ which is roughly $35,5k
@yajae26 damn, that's expensive. Unfortunately, here in the US, the Camry is about 5k to 10k more expensive than the Corolla.
Do y'all get the sonata? I think the sonata is still really really good
Because Europeans can't think beyond German sedans
The thing nobody ever mentions about 16" rims is you'll get better mpg, lower NVH, less tire wear, and better ride comfort. Large rims creates more problems than it solves. This is coming from someone who used to hop up Civics back in the day. Oh yeah, you also get worse acceleration
Just curious why are you going around every camry video reposting the same comment?
@@Andres_Ito23Camry fanboys are sad
Why are you commenting the same thing on every Camry video? You chasing clout?
@@landoctor94 lmao
lol I see this comment on every Camry video the last couple of days lol. The guy always says he “hops up” his civics lol.
Thank you for really pointing out road noise. It is such an overlooked feature of a car IMO.
As I get older, I would go for the LE model to get max MPGs and max COMFORT with the 16 inch meaty tires.
How old a fella are ya?
I'm impressed it's so much quieter than even the NX350h/Rav4 Hybrid!.
Definitely quieter than the RAV4 by far probably on a par with the NX
The Toyota hybrids do NOT use a CVT transmission! Their e-CVT for the hybrids has nothing to do with a traditional CVT.
Thats a CVT bud.
@@jaybeemhardscrote7466 No, it isn’t. Not even close. No pulleys. Almost no moving parts at all. Just a planetary gear set. The “transmission“ in a Camry hybrid will outlast the rest of the car.
@vlj1133 it behaves as a CVT does. It literally is a Continuously Variable Transmission.
@vlj1133 it's an electronically controlled CVT, it has a Continuously variable drive system controlled via electric motor. Thus, still a CVT. That's like saying a turbocharger is forced induction but a supercharger isn't. They are different ways of doing the same thing
@@jaybeemhardscrote7466It’s not even a transmission, in any conventional sense. No belts. No pulleys. No expensive maintenance and wear with its electric motors. It doesn’t operate at all like a CVT, nor does it suffer from any of the fragility of a CVT.
🔥Great Job Guys🔥
I love the Prius style front end design.
Sure is fancy compared to my 93 Camry DX stick shift. Thanx for the video.
I liked the video at the ending music :) you kept your word 👍👍
Hi Jacob and Yuri, Really like your content, can you guys also review the sound quality on factory speakers of the cars ..
6:20 the random ahh Honda Fire-blade (cbr1000rr-r) Passby was wicked 🔥🔥🔥

YEAH!
That was an R1
@@neuroplasticity it was a fireblade sp, in the classic 90s paintjob, not r1
Thank u for actually comparing Toyota Camry versus Honda Accord soon
The fit and finish of the camry is so aligned and perfect! :o. Please perfect of the year
Toyota confirmed that this car average fuel consumption is 50mbg....it is crazy
People are really not talking about how incredible that is … like the size of this car getting that type of mileage that’s completely wizardry. This could be the perfect every day car
@@Toyota4Lifewell with E-CVT and 2 electric motors, what did you expect?
why not just prius? only top trim camry is very quiet inside, and lot less mpg and saftey due to weight increase
i feel like that helps the environment more than the electric cars
@@Kzninja2 The environment will change regardless of what we do so it’s arrogant to think America can change it. God changes it. And it’s on documentaries that I watch where they confirm what I said.
Camry is looking great! I'm glad it's still an option - I'd much rather drive a sedan instead of an egg-shaped CUV.
We have a 2024 XSE w/ the 3.5L V6 and i feel like it’s a step into the right direction if you like hybrids.
I don't know about the front end, but my 2022 Highlander had to grow on me. The added curves and front-end intricacies grew on me to now make other cars look old.
These will be very common as company cars. I know Walmart is replacing a bunch of there company cars for these so these will be very common but it will always be good to see
Man 55k CA$ for mid range Camry is insanely high. With the current rate of interest that Toyota is offering in Canada, you are looking at 1000$ a month! That too for a freaking Camry !
Camry’s 10 years ago never got this fancy either, plus crazy inflation these past couple years.
@@huythai1222 top of the line Toyota Highlander limited was 800$ a month in 2022 and is now 1250$ a month. Camry XSE hybrid was 675$ a month in 2022 and is now over 1000$ a month. Even comparing apples to apples, over a span of just 2 years, the prices are insane. It was really annoying when they said that it's a great price.
Canada really sucks in every way these days from your politics on down.
@@HC_15819at this point I’m going to have to crack open my piggy banks and use that for a decent car. I’ve really wanted to buy a house with the cash but cars are a real factor to consider these days. I may hold onto the 2021 Mazda CX-5 for a couple of more years. But it just turned 20,000 miles.
Thank you trudeau
hated how overstyled the previous gen was. this looks a million times better externally and internally
The front end and cheap black gloss inside is not over styled?
I’m glad you picked the best thumbnail 😉.
Love hearing term “crashy” First heard it on Behind the Glass podcast by Tony and/or Sam but maybe you guys coined it first? Either way, both channels rock!
I thought that grill in the thumbnail was a Yuri photoshop. WTF!
Toyota has THE BEST looking lineup through and through.. absolutely crushing it.
Nice appliance. The Pruisification of all Toyotas continues.
That intro! 🕺
If Toyota puts out a TRD version with no powertrain upgrade, I would honestly not be shocked. Hope no but they have set that precedent.
I have a sneaking suspicion the TRD might receive the Rav4 Prime powertrain, the 2.4t, or perhaps the 1.6t. Rav4 Prime powertrain has good power and would make the Camry quick with good mpgs, but it is considerably more heavy than the regular hybrids and the ECVT would hinder performance feel. Both the 2.4t and 1.6t are possibilities, but the 2.4t has to be retuned to meet performance needs but it would start stepping on the toes of the Crown or Lexus ES. 1.6t would be easy to repackage from the GR Corolla and GR Yaris, but the last manual Camry was made in 2011 so unless they’re willing to break tradition they’ll have to rework a different transmission to work with the 1.6t.
@@huythai1222 I wouldn’t be too excited about either but would prefer the 2.4 even if heavier. The GRCorolla just did not impress the auto world as anticipated.
@@boughtandpaidforautoreview1150 what do you mean the 1.6t did not impress the auto world? I would like to disagree. Besides the fact that it’s one of the highest hp per L mass production engines, they can still pump out way more power even with stock internals. GR Yaris’ are making 450whp on stock internals. To put that into perspective I make 500whp in my FBO E85 Camaro SS with a 6.2L LT1 V8, while the 3 banger 1.6L makes just as much with a tune and down pipe.
@@boughtandpaidforautoreview1150 if that powertrain makes it to the Camry with the AWD and manual the Camry will smoke most things fully built.
@@huythai1222 I have watched and read how the 1.6 3cyl doesn’t like to rev, drones, loses pull on the high end when boost drops off and is not refined. Impressive to get that much power per liter but that is only ok for Yaris and would be awesome in the gr86, but Corolla and Camry weigh a lot now and are commuter cars first. I want better balance of power and efficiency for a fun-ish family car. I also cannot see Toyota going manual Camry again but would like to see it.
6:19 I wasn't expecting that
Nobody did
Is the infotainment as good as an A7? They both seem great! Great balance of digital and physical buttons.
During high noon does the where the hood meets the windshield wipers still reflect the sun right into your eyes like the 2022 model?
I like the grill and headlights and overall, it looks great for a Camry. I'd get the AWD version and any other colour but red on the innards. Kudos to TeeYoda for slowly integrating the center screen into the dashline.
Toyota has been killing it low 🔑
Not in the looks category
We’re about to see these everywhere😂💯
I just did some research on the Toyota website and my biggest issue with this new Camry is to get some normally basic functions like rain sensing wipers, cross-traffic alert and lane change assist and ventilated front seats (amongst other options) that are typically included in at least the higher trims for most car brands, you can't get with any trim of the new Camry (including the highest trim) without an almost $5,000 premium plus package upgrade.
They really went SF90 with that daytime running light setup 😅
@10:55 Yuri getting pipped with egg-mode 😂
Great review! Is it true that the 2025 Camry hybrid has a normal braking feel aka a braking feel of a gasoline car? Not the unpleasant spongy hybrid braking feel?
Loved that intro ;) I was expecting something ridiculous, like a 3.8 second 0-60 haha
I wish they sold the Camry wagon in North America. Toyota builds some great hybrid SUVs, but I would be happy to trade in mine for a hybrid Camry wagon.
I know fwd is the way to go, but I was driving my brothers ‘23 Prius AWD in SLC, and from crawling at 3mph to merging on an exit with people doing 55mph. Let’s just say I was impressed by how quickly it picked up pace with everyone else! My ‘20 Corolla SE 6MT definitely can’t get up that fast!
that has nothing to do with what wheels are being driven
On a dry pavement awd or fwd no difference especially accelerating from 3 mph
I wish you could get the upper trims with the 16" wheels. Anyone remember when cars all came with 13, 14 or 15" wheels? Not 16's a looked down upon. I'll take the higher MPG, lower replacement cost, and drastically reduced risk of flat tires/bent rims from Potholes thank you very much. I actually prefer the LE interior to the XLE... I don't like that mesh fiber thing they got going on. I will miss the Acoustic side glass and 12" display however... oh well.
Beautifully looking car, especially the front and headlights, so modern, I love it.
Toyota went from designing the ugliest cars to now the more exciting economy cars, finally they listened to their customers.
Toyota hybrid "eCVT" is smooth with zero transition because it's not real CVT for good, it's more of fixed reduction gear that outputs differences of two motors and engine so there's no rubber banding and no disconnection, it just adds up to 100% motor at low ends and up to 100% engine at higher speeds and that's why it's smooth
Couldn’t drive a modern Camry, although these are fantastic cars. Driver in attention segment with Yuri was hilarious.
Toyota is cooking
Let them cook
These guys have come a long way. They used to hawk Vincero watches now it looks like Jakob's rocking a GMT Master
To be fair - the people hawking Vincero watches are usually rocking Rollies as their personal watches off screen , so he might have had it all along 😂
Vincero was like our first brand partner. Shoutout
Or maybe the parents bought them a Christmas present like my dad for me. Working doesn’t correlate to a watch necessarily. They may be millionaires prior to KZhead.
I agree with you guys, i wish this “black wheel phase” would phase out lol
It should have a tachometer. I have another Toyota model, but with the same system as this Camry, also a hybrid. The tachometer isn't shown by default, but you can replace the hybrid gauge with a tachometer. You just need to dig through settings & find it.
eclipse was lit
The Prius face isn't bad but I think it should have been stretched more like the Prius
It looks really nice but whats up with the seam where the bumper meets the hood? Seems wavy and wonky...hopefully that's just because its pre production and the fit will be adjusted upon release..
95% sure you can get a tach in the guage cluster, its not in meter type or style but the setting below it. Drove a lower trim crown that had the same screen and the setting was super hidden.
Oh heck ya will check on accord comparison day
wow. Last car I'm looking forward to is the next gen Mazda6, reportedly, to be a RWD-based PHEV. If it's well priced, I'll go with the Mazda, hands down, but this new Camry and the current gen Accord are big hits. I'm finally ready to turn in my third pedal for hybridisation (on my daily driver). I lvoe the Japanese for, not only keeping the sedan alive and well, but for turning up the heat a bit.
Jump scare intro
hey guys been a huge fan since you started your channel and now Im starting my currently writing you from it and id love to know how you guys started and if you could give me some tips and advices on my own car reviewing channel
The new seats more comfortable than previous gen?
I hope Toyota releases a Camry Prime at some point to replace the V6.
I wouldn't be surprised if there was a 2 year waiting list for a Camry Prime.
They're building a battery plant which is supposed to come online in 2025. This will help pump out a lot more hybrids and prime versions.
@@TheMitchOwen people dont buy sedans anymore tho

Toyota built a $60k car, added awd, and is selling it for $40k, now, that’s awesome!
Have you driven some of those 60k cars??
Sir, this is a vehcile that should start from $18k. Smaller sedans like Corolla need to start at $14k. We need a serious correction of these absurd car prices. I got a fully loaded 2019 Honda Pilot in 2018 brand new for $30k and a fully loaded Camry, not the TRD for $24k what are these dealers smoking 😂
@@whatskrakin37 it’s 2024 right now though.. 30 years ago, $18k is fine. The average consumer new car thought is close to upper $30k’s today. It’s Bidenomics in effect

Honda designers must take some design lessons from Toyota😂😂😂
Ummm, are we looking at the same car? Toyota didn’t do much here. It has the same profile from the side and rear. The front is changed, but now it looks like a fish with a gaping mouth. The Accord has a more sleek, timeless design imo.

40k for a dam Camry??
Everything going up 😂 and it’s not that bad still would own it over the accord
Looking good!
It is a good looking car. Toyota is keeping the sedan market alive
In an endless sea of boxy pickups and SUVs, even a family sedan is good looking to me now.
As much as I love the look of the big boxy suvs, I simply don’t need a vehicle that big and of course they’re now the price of luxury vehicles.
That grille... nom nom nom 😆
All I can think of is how stupid it will look with a license plate stuck between its teeth 😬
It’s looks good. I love the interior.
As a ‘22 Camry TRD owner, I really like the exterior and interior changes. Only thing I can’t get by is the powertrain 😢 Camry is the new Accord with the CVT😢
Except a way better eCVT.
It's not a CVT, it's a Synergy Drive. There is zero mechanical similarity between a traditional CVT and a Synergy Drive.
@@pmc_ even more stale lol
@@pmc_they said it was a cvt

Everything is great, but I like the front of the last gen better.
The big bottom grill needs to be black that’s the issue. It’s color matched so it looks off It needs to be black to match the outer side vents
Can we appreciate a manufacturer offering a new car with warranty starting under $29k in 2024? Yes, most buyers will spend closer to $40k but kudos to Toyota for having the option there.
Im just happy there choices for those that hate EVs. Long live ICE and hybrids.
looks more like a face lift than a "new". biggest improvement is the fuel efficiency and making all Camry a hybrid. Camry will continue the dominance in this class.
So we just gonna gloss over the fact that this full-size sedan gets 44 miles to the gallon on its worst day ? What type witchcraft is going on in the Toyota engineering room
Not witchcraft; just helps when everyone is on the same page from an engineering and design perspective. I like how no one mentioned that they couldn't tell them any information on the TRD/GR version of the Camry 😬
@japanwatchconnection lol bro. You can like both things . A fast car that burns gas and you can like the opposite as well both things can be liked. You ppl kill me with this chest hair pounding mentality my car needs to make 1000hp and sound nuts for me enjoy it lmfao
