In this video we machine some tools for the new press and fill up the 400 liter hydraulic oil tank from two barrels of hydraulic oil
You can now buy your own hydraulic press through us! Press inquiries hpc@profipress.info
Here is the link where you can check out standard Profi Press models rhtc-workshoppress.com/ and if you need special custom made machine just send email and Profi Press engineers will design machine that suits your needs.
I love Hanna's positive outlook on life. "Hey Hanna, is this in the center?" "Yeah!" "Does this look good?" "Yeah!" "How about this?" "Good!"
ty for the adult humour less than 1 minute into the video. :)
0:40 is quote of the year for sure And 15:08 is a very close second
3:30 as well
that hydraulic press like grip strength tho
you should paint a channel logo on the back wall of the bunker on either side of the press, easily visible from camera view...serves as a watermark so people can't easily rip off your videos for youtube shorts monetization.
This is like I'm trying to get it in, does it look familiar? You can hold the hose and I do the pumping, that's good traditional... 🤣
Hi Lauri, Thank you for making these progress Videos on this channel! Love the humor and the infos we get here! Hope you keep it up and crush on!
"two or three viral videos and we get our money back" - much appreciate the honest transparency! Between hobbies and "being a professional (`I'm doing it but I get paid for it`)" ... sense and sustainability are needed, so yeah! Keep on crushing stuff without anyone getting hurt. Cheers from down here in Polakistan ☺
I think that you would definitely deal with the weight of tools for the 600t press. I wish you all the best and that in the future you will get the 1000t press that you mentioned in very early videos on the channel. Good luck and keep going.
So glad you got the 300 ton press! Time to make glass out of sand 😂
I love that you guys put in the hard work and labor regardless of your ice palace environment. No excuses. Work hard and work smart. The Fins really are amazing.
Technotronic - Pump up the jam
Two videos in one day, thank you!
Those magnets are rated differently for different shaped materials. Flat stock might be 250Kilos, but it will be a lot less for a radius. I've used multiple sizes of those magnets for loading and unloading a waterjet.
Congratulations on the new baby, I'm sure birthing the 300 ton press was a lot of labor but a labor of love 🙂
I think I've seen you knock over that shovel 3 times over several years. Is that the best spot for it?
If you want to knock it over then yes….
It's a safety shovel. When you knock it down, you know you're too close to the door frame. Trust me, it's better to bend your back to lift the shovel a thousand times than to bend the door frame once...
I had to manually pump hydro fluids into a bucket with one of those small well pumps. I actually felt a bit of relief when I saw it was a hand cranked pump instead of the lever ones. If I ever had to drain a whole drum again and only had one of those lever well pumps, I'd do the hose siphon trick.
I think she should do her own videos of professionally cleaning up the mess this thing will make?!
Congrats on the new press. Been watching since before red hot steel. 1000 tons press seemed a little steep upgrade, but this is perfect. Keep up the good work.
In security you get a similar alcohol meter, called a walkie talkie. If you think someone is too drunk tell them to blow into the ariel, if they do it then they are too drunk
Ambiguous jokes in the right environment are ok; after all, it's not a kindergarten channel! 😁 - However, I really like Hanna.... she has something of "Harley Quinn" in her; cute and unpredictable at the same time. 💣☺❤
It is called a Pallet Jack. You guys are so funny. I laugh every time I watch you.
it's probably too late now, but make sure you can drive your hydraulic pallet jack into the bunker, and make a raised platform that you can put on it and roll the tools in and out via that, instead of always using the overhead crane.
Solid suggestion!
Looking good! Yeah you can get slow blow fuses that will handle the start up surge. The bunker will be nice when done!
2:08 it looks like it needs to be just a little to the right (from the camera perspective)
15:12 timing the hand pumping shows how effective it is. Batteries and power are susceptible to not being available.
I like Timo's lipstick.
I think you should crush some small safe. It would be interesting to see if the door open before the whole thing goes flat.
The breaker on the 63A socket is to protect the cable, not the machine, so it's only sort of safe
The short moment of panic and despair when nothing happens when you turn it on before you realize that the main switch isn't on is relatable to anyone who has ever built or upgraded a PC 😅
Don't leave hydraulic hoses resting against the wall top edge. Vibrations and flexing will slowly churn the hose until the hose fails.
Best electrician ever!
Nice new equipment. can't wait to see what u have installed for future videos
@7:50... "and be ready to run"... lol 😂
3:40: that's a nice saw. Yum. I've used some half that size.
good job!
You could use cordless drill to turn the pump for you just in case you ever have to drain and refill the press
First thing to crush: *Apple Vision Pro* AR/VR is AMAZING but AVP is from Apple so no real loss.
Haha, yes of course Lauri, we all have 400V 60A 3ph outlets in every room. I do have access to 240V (2 phases of 120) at 50A in the garage.
Love Timo!
0:44 is the moment where you two basically just realised what has been said... I love this sense of humor and that you kept it in the video 😁 by the way because of the roof issue you mentioned at 10:15, how about making a section of the roof being able to be liftet up by the crane itself? it doesn't need to be a swing away lid, just a rectangle section that can be raised via attaching the crane hook and moved to the side to stay on top of the roof? (or you make a "sliding roof section" in your plans to simply be able to roll a part of the roof to the side on some tracks, so you don't lose any strength in your structure itself) the other option would only be to have a hydraulic scissor lifting table with a lifting capacity large enough to raise the tools made to the needed level (in case your entry door is smooth without any obstacles to be driven over)
Buy a transmission jack for the heavy tools.
Hi thanks for sharing 😂very good at jobs I lost it 😂
On that barrel pump, you could remove the handle and attach a power drill to the shaft of the pump to make it easier to pump that much FRH.
Older (90's) payphone would be pretty epic to see crushed.
Yes it would be 25 cent with coin tray return hinge like bell brand or something great idea
Got dem that’s a big motor on the pump.
It will all be worthwile ultimately- looking forward to some awesome Crushing !!
I just thought of a couple of items worth testing out on your new press. First would be a common two slice toaster, toasting bread and working.. second thought would be a four cycle gasoline engine light for a lawnmower or a pump running in crush it while it’s running very exciting May be an electric fan, running with air being blown vertically just a thought
20:40 wow you definitevely need to stabilize the machine- you can clearly see that there is a gap between the machines left front foot and the floor :O
Super-Sketchy Magnet is Prrrritti Guud.
15:40 teught like a teuger! Not sure how this machine is wired... a friend of mine got an industrial vacuum cleaner of 7,5kW power, where the motor was designed for 400V winding voltage and was wired in delta mode (each winding phase to phase). This was barely fine on fast 32A fuses, but would almost immediately blow the slowest 16A fuses. We wired in a wye/delta starter that allows to spin the motor up in wye mode, or with 230V winding voltage (each winding from phase to neutral), then switch quickly to delta mode for prolonged use. It starts and runs fine on normal 16A fuses with the mod.
Don’t try this at home, I’m a professional…. I wonder how many homes have a 300T press 🤔🤔 That’s what I love about this channel. I can watch the results of “so many stupid things” (@22:36) that I’d definitely do if my house came with a 300T press (or 3φ 400AVC). I really enjoy your videos.
From 🇧🇷 Brasil ....☝🏽👀
Waht da fuk! Timo he makes every shop video a shop video much love to you all. Lauri my friend you ever go on trips with your old man? Maybe something fun or for work and ya dont have to film it all but you guys are comedy gold.
Lube Up!
LMAO @0:43
Best of luck m8. 🙂
I never knew AR 500 was the same thing as hardox, I've messed up drilling through hardox and then it work hardens and it's ruined, would love to see if the new press can crush it or something Greetings from The Netherlands 🇳🇱❤🇫🇮
I am not sure is it exactly the same but pretty close and yes work hardening when messing up drilling is real problem with this one :D
@@Beyondthepress yeah, I've not welded it yet but I've heard that's also pretty hard
@@Beyondthepress btw, you should call the ballistic dummies Pressmeralda and Presston😆

Timo! Timo! Timo! 🙂
Damn 22'000 EUR for bunker, few years back a cheap second hand fiesta was the ultimate beyond the press channel statement of how they approach their videos. i would venture a guess that the car AND the slow-mo cameras did not cost nearly as much. Still the creative videomaking dose demmand sacrifice and i understand why this is happening. having Hanna hold one's hose while he cranks (a pump) yeah well i do like innuendos so i wholeheartidly appove of these types of verbal sheninigans.
Well said
if you want to pick something up in the middle with a lifting strap. Pull the lifting strap once to both ends and it will be easier to see whether it is in the middle.
If you can't sort it out by eye... You have ZERO business conducting ANY lift.
Why not store tools under the press "table" and just rig small, detachable winch at press frame to pull them up in place when needed?
A stack of LP/records would be neat
You should crush Finish brands like Tyrkisk Pebber, Fiskars, and Nokia!
I've always wondered what you do with the presses when you're not destroying objects. What are the uses for a hydraulic press? Pardon me ignorance. You were driving a Tesla in one video?
C trip curve fuses to a D trip curve.
Left or right depends on perspective and view angle. You'd better use starboard and port side.
3:55 Just the tip?
2:11 it seems a little to our right (your left). I assume that mark was the center.
I always like your transparency and that you explain all the details behind the setup. 👍
Your "medium" lathe seems quite large to me!
I do not wish to be rude about your accent, but is there a reason why that when you introduce yourselves it sounds like "Hi i'm Lhowrip, and I'm annyip, yet the lady's name came up on screen as Hanna ? Regards, Rick. P.S, I love your mad ideas, and the fact that you are allowed major explosives over there, I think that they would prefer that we didn't even have access to fireworks here in England !!
Of course the phases are standardized. If your wiring is wrong, then the motor spins the wrong way.
hey could you make a mold for a straw hat and use it on a hay bale?
It probably has large start capacitors as well
Nope.
Pump up the jam pump it up why your feet are stomping? And the jam is pumping look at it get the crowd jumpin'
I've seen steel saws like the one at 6:00 before, but this one ... what path does the band saw blade take in the loop? Does it spiral up to the top and then spiral back down to the cutting area?
a little left from your view , but as the high end would be your dafety end as you could easily frop the lowm end that is Away from you First if things went arie
What is this channel turning into? 0:42 and 2:48 😂😂
I am not sure has this ever been serious youtube channel :D
@@Beyondthepress Anyway, we love it!
Could you have siphoned the oil into the press?
Pretty good video.
Hey, that looks like a nice watch. What watch is it that you have there?
I dont remember the model but entry level Tissot mechanical dive watch. Its been great runs 72 hours and keeps really accurate time for its price.
Actually, a G-Shock would fit your style much better in your profession. :) @@Beyondthepress
@2:05... I little to your right
You know Hanna, you are supposed to be more subtle when making the euphemisms and inuendo.🤣
Nah, I enjoy a girl being open about what she enjoys. People being direct and blunt is not a bug, but a huge feature!
Maybe you need a trolley to move heavy things around, some serious wheels, maybe something you can drive too 😂
Probably best to say we are good at doing jobs by hand, order of words is super important sometimes, saying we are good at hand jobs means something else entirely!
whoosh...
We need “Hand Job” merch 🤣🤝
I think you need 63 amp socket with a C50 Ampere circuit breaker and a 10mm2 powercable. but ask your local sparky.
In my experience with 50:50 chance it is 100% sure I get it wrong.
Nothing wrong with a bit of manual labour
I think when you say “fuse” I assume you mean a Miniature Celircuit Breaker (mcb) and I assume you are talking about changing from type c to type d. Which is what you do with a big motor with inrush. But (at least in the UK) you need to ensure it still meets the disconnection requirements which needs the prospective fault current to be checked /calculated. (tldr ask an electrician - which i’m not) 😂
I mis the dutch flag on these machines😂
Yhymm uuuuh jeah it's huge Yyhhm jeah uuuuhh aaaaah
I haven't seen this in s comment yet, did you guys think of a siphon instead of pumping it all?
15:08 😂😂
I love BTP but it gets old when BTP is just about the press ... miss "blowing crap up"
I sometimes recognize parts of your videos being used on other KZhead channels without giving your channel credit. It might be well if you made the name of your channel visible in your videos.
May I ask what camera/phone you record this on? And how many fps?
We have two Sony Fx 3 and one sony Fx 30
@@Beyondthepress Very nice! Do you record at 4K60FPS?
Nooo, don't change the fuse strength, change the type from fast to slow
I have two of those crank style pumps at work, one is for engine oil and one is for hydraulic oil. Mine were the absolute cheapest available from Harbor Freight tools, and when I bought them, I immediately took them apart and fixed the imperfections. Mostly, I smoothed the really bad machining on the inside surfaces. Doing this made them much easier to operate. Better quality ones wouldn't have needed this extra work. But I've used the hydraulic one for changing all the hydraulic fluid in a large wheel loader, which required most of a drum of fluid, and let me tell you, while it doesn't require a lot of force to operate, you do need endurance. Nice that you could switch spots with Hanna now and then to do it. But those pumps really do work nicely for this.
