Old 150 Ton Hydraulic Press Vs. New 300 Ton Hydraulic Press

Today’s showdown is epic - our old faithful 150-ton press vs. the new beast, a whopping 300-ton machine. We’re putting them to the test, crushing the same stuff side by side to see how they compare. Kicking things off with a solid steel pipe, because why not?
You’re going to hear the strain, see the stress, and maybe even feel the pressure right through your screen. The old press has been with us through thick and thin, but is it ready to take on the new kid on the block? Let's find out together.
And hey, we’re also taking a quick tour of our new setup. We've got bulletproof everything - windows, doors, you name it, plus an AR500 steel roof because we mean business. And the lighting? We’re blasting it so bright, your screen’s gonna need sunglasses. It’s all about getting those crisp, clear shots for you guys.
So, whether you're here for the nostalgia of the old press or excited by the raw power of the new one, this video’s got something for everyone. We’re pushing these machines to their limits to see what they can really do.
Smash that subscribe button if you're into watching stuff get crushed with obscene amounts of power. Thanks for tuning in, and let’s get crushing!
You can now buy your own hydraulic press through us! Press inquiries hpc@profipress.info
Here is the link where you can check out standard Profi Press models rhtc-workshoppress.com/ and if you need special custom made machine just send email and Profi Press engineers will design machine that suits your needs.

  • Have you considered building into the window frames a channel in which you can drop a panel of 1/4" thick clear optical-grade polycarbonate? These panels will protect the very expensive windows from hard flying debris, and will be fairly inexpensive to replace as they become damaged. We love your channel!

    • That's a great idea - despite the glass being bullet poof, it still only takes a small hit to crack the outer layer (which looks terrible and obstruct the view) - then he just have to pay another 500 euro for a new one, to get clear view again.

  • The year is 2050. The Hydraulic Press Channel now has 1 billion subscribers. Lauri just finished setting up the "Super-Duper Planet Crusher 5,000,000", a custom-made hydraulic press with 10,000 tonnes of maximum force. The bunker is now made of 30cm of AR500 steel, with a full 10 meters of reinforced concrete behind it. You watch as he prepares to crush an entire Russian BMP filled with nitroglycerine, while filming it at 10,000,000 frames per second at 16k resolution with a 360° high-speed camera. Life is good.

If we're talking 2050 at HPC and their "Go Big or Crush It" motto - they would need a 1,000,000 tonne press. At those pressures just about any materials used under them would need to be treated as as a fluid in some manner. Love the new press!

  • The bunker is fantastic, and its awesome that you guys are able to build it!! But nothing will replace those green panels with the electric signs as background. It's just as part of the channel's identity as the crushing itself.

  • I love how the rust jumps off the steel cylinders. It would be cool to have a little stamp made of your channel name or logo you could press into coins and things that you flatten, then you could sell them as merch.

  • I love your channel and your content. The amount of creativity is endless. When installing the roof, you might want to consider using sound absorbing materials also. The acoustics is going to be terrible.

  • Once the bunker is finished you should crush a piece of brass similar to the one that broke your window but make it a lot bigger for the new press

  • Oh man... The comparison between the OG press and the new one is heartbreaking. I feel like we all are about to say goodbye to our dear old friend, but unsure when the last time we'll see each other will be...
