👍
Japan has a very large influence on the camera industry. The quality of the products coming from Japan has been noticed.
Canadian here. Proud to be the owner of a Japanese made mirrorless camera.
not going to lie: I love owning things that have "made in japan" written on them. thank you sigma for making these awesome devices!
me too.
The Quality control, the finish, the polish, the attention to details, the durability to last, is 2nd to none. I own the Canon 7D and I know it's going to last forever. That thing is a Tank.
Dzen❤
Made in Japan, the promise of the quality
Japan made ruled in 70s and 80s
I love that Sigma has their videos of their manufacturing of cameras and lenses. They definitely gained a lot of my respect for the company since they started releasing the videos.
Very good marketing step.
... Those That Have Done This Kind of Line Work For Some Time Will Obviously Understand... Those Who Haven't Done Line Work of Any Sort May Not Understand... Nothing Random Should Happen On the Line... Tedious and Numbing... But it is Paid Employment Etc 5:43
Many thanks to Kazuto Yamaki for keeping Sigma corporation as a family business. Brilliant company and brilliant lenses (and the cameras are coming along nicely too). If every company were kept family operated the world would be a much better place.
family company, lol. if by family you mean adult adoption, then sure. google mukoyoshi
As a fan of Pentax for decades, I can just 😢. You are so right. Do you know sad story of AKAI company?
Wow, that's pretty impressive. I really thought it's mostly made by machines and not by humans. Thank you for this!
Same here
I didn't know that Sigma made camera bodies, but now that I do, I want one. The fact they they are made with so many human hands is extremely impressive. I figured cameras were all made with machines. Great video!
@phillipbanes5484 It's true. I just bought a Sony ZV-E10 and have been watching videos on it. Lots of people talk about the Sigma 16mm lens, but no one ever mentioned their camera bodies.
@@phillipbanes5484 I sure as of hell didn't know! I knew about thier lens!
thank you for the video but also for all these operators who make these wonderful devices for us
The hanging screwdriver collecting tiny screws from the auto-hopper at 4:12 is a classic labour saving process. I have a MIJ guitar and the craftsmanship & QC is beyond amazing.
I had a Sigma FP L. I love using this camera. Thank you for showing me how it was manufactured.
I really love this. Thank you so much to Sigma for making this awesome mini Full Frame camera. Cheers!
just beautifull to see japanse craftmanship. there is japan and the rest of the world, anything they do is next level. they only work to make perfection.
I am a FP L user. I really enjoyed the video. Thank you.
The best camera for many years - Sigma fp, thanks for your work guys!
I still use my sigma quattro dp2 camera after so many years. Still gives joy knowing sigma makes everything with such care and consideration. Thank you all at sigma
Shout out to the workers! Thank you!
Thank you Sigma for making quality cameras and lenses!
The best channel that i ever seen for manufacturing camera like this
It's great Sigma gave you the access for this and the lens build video.
Reminds me of my days servicing and repairing digital cameras for Sony, nice video.
I own two Sigma lenses that are made in Japan and I'm very proud of them!
Nice and tidy and ionizer blowers everywhere to neutralize charges to protect the electronics and keep dust away. Beautiful.
Wonderful ! Fascinating how many different parts are needed to build such a camera and how much manual labor is used to accomplish this.
Very beautiful, high-tech work! ** Du très beau travail de haute technicité !
Thank you for sharing such awesome BTS of this camera we love! :)
New respect for all in the design and manufacturing industry. It is so amazing!
wow... I used camera for 12years but it's first time to seeing the camera making process. very interesting video! thanks for making this
That was awesome, now I love my FPL even more :)
That was very cool... Thanks for sharing!
Mis respetos japoneses!!! Son brillantes!!!
Meticulous detail. Well done!
people who have not seen it irl do not understand its real dimensions, but this full-frame camera is smaller than the Nikon 1V1
It’s great, I love it so much, it’s definitely the leader in the camera world!
LOL
I love it. I hope for a Fp 2 with a stacked cmos sensor. Come on Kazuto, make our dreams come true!
Dearest SIGMA, night and day I wait on full frame Foveon sensor....
Fun fact: mirrorless cameras are the only cameras that can take pictures of vampires!
Interesting...
But only if they have Dead View mode.
@@soupwizardAs a matter of fact cameras with mirrors, like LSRs of various types, can take photos of vampyres. You just can't track vampyres with the LSRs' visual viewfinder.
Thank you for the video 📸
AMAZING!!!
Amazing Process 😮
That is a very complicated assembly job and that woman should be payed a LOT of money in salary for working so fast and accurately. The Japanese are wizards at quality control. Bravo!
You must be a feminist because you find it reasonable to pay some a LOT of money only based on their gender. The double standard is strong in this one....
Feminism alert. fkoff
I can guarantee every photographers and future photographers took their time to watch this whole process without skipping.
Sigma has come a long way since offering cheap third party alternatives as kit lens replacements
That's a really good looking camera.
As an FPL user i appreciated this 👍
that was epic ,i love my sigma gear ,be neat seeing lenses being made
I bought an fp 3 years ago, and it is definitely one of my favorite cameras. I shoot it with Leica L, M, and S mount lenses as well as Voigtlander M mount and the Sigma L mount lens that it came with. I use this camera for stills with great results.
It is such a WONDERFUL CAMERA - not just the build, the beauty of it - but the image itself which is as cinematic as the best of them - I'm including the big cinema cameras (Arris, Reds, etc). I've taken this onto many professional film/TV shoots through work and shown it to DOPS who have been blown away by this. Love it! and love the support that Sigma has continued to give this. It's legend will continue to grow.
BTW Sigma, you need to be pushing this in the film industry more. Even as a B-Cam
Really interesting video! I work with product development and mechanical design and I work in Solidworks. Awesome to see the process as a whole. I am also a hobby photographer who loves my Sigma lenses, so this video is very fitting for me 😄Arigatou, Sigma!
Mesmerizing! Also, I had no idea the amount of manual labor that went into making these! I truly had no idea that many people touch a camera before it lands in the final users hands.
Looks promising! I didn't know they're making their own cameras too.
The most interesting ones are their Foveon sensors. But... it's a sinking ship, I don't think they have enough funds for the R&D to succeed. If it does it will be quite a breakthrough in photography.
@gelosoriano not enough pixels for today
@@professionalpotato4764 yea i've been waiting for their foveon full frame for years now, originally planned to be released in 2020 but it's still getting delayed.. i still own their sd quattro and it still outputs of the best photos when the conditions are right
They have been lol, since 1976
@@wildechapexactly 🤣🤣🤣
Sigma make amazing lenses and their camera bodies are excellent too.
Thanks! I like You're products!!!!!
Thankyou so much for this interesting video!
Thanks for the videos on the photo theme. Do more. Maybe also Canon?
Amazing video! I have a Sigma fp, amazing camera, very happy with it.
Super interesting. I was surprised by the writings on the camera done with a sponge. I didn't know how it was made and thought it was more a metallic press not a simple sponge.
It’s basically a stamp made from silicone, very common process
It’s called pad printing - very common
Thank you both for your precise answers.
wow amazing . thanks for sharing the video
Whoa! Hello to Sigma. My first real job was portable electronics and camera seller back in 2005. I remember Sigma was very active promoting their lenses for SLR, and of course, trading company I worked for had these lenses in shops. I respect companies that keep their business and technology UP during times. I worked many years in different business, stainless metallurgy and precision alloys, and keep an eye on what is going on with Pentax only, as fan of Pentax. And this is frustrating. So your camera is a surprise for me. Looks very professional. I try to film and make pictures a lot using my old Nikon compact CMOS ultrazoom, Pentax K50 and smartphone. Not a high quality as you can see. But your camera looks very PRO. Will be interesting to know specs.
Thank you. Good job!
i love these high tech family businesses
looks like a very rigorous process
This videos are really amazing great job
Nice, if it's the music they have at the factory, then I want to work there !
Terrific. Does Sigma make anything bad? I don't think so. Great company. Look at the standards and quality. I love Japan. An amazing country.
Amazing! Thank you!
Nice product!
I love the music, it seems magical or wonderfulness
i like so much cameras so thank u v much to making it ...
im happy that there is a niche for this. its not for me because I want someone to explain whats happening lol. but the channel is still awesome
Very Very Nice ! My favorite Camera.
Besides Canon EF lenses, Sigma is probably the only other brand I'd consider buying
The quality check is impressive
Hi boss awesome video, anyway what camera you use to record all this❤
Awesome in the true sense of the world. A good example of why "Made in Japan" holds a special pedigree.
Cameras made by prisoners in USA prisons are the best in quality. USA # 1.
@@user-zw4iy1rt8k lmao
Excellent Sigma tool!
Wow i think this is going to be my next cam😮
Very nice work and quality, i thougt that Sigma was a Paint brand (Sigma coatings) , but now i know they also have cameraś. gretings from the Netherlands
It's amazing✨
Japan at its best as always.
Sigma cameras are amazing : a bit slow (like film cameras) but the Colors and textures of the Foveon sensor looks like 6x9 film
