@@user-ts5vn7sl5y i doubt gators hunt sleeping people inside lots of cloth... plus, he's a REAL survivalist, if he felt like it was a threat, he'd deal with it. he lived in trees in the canadian rockies for crying out loud... with BEARS, which would destroy a gator, just from sheer strength

I grew up in Florida and spent every day as a little boy in the woods catching, collecting and shooting pellets to eat what was edible. Clearing islands with a little johnboat and a dream. More poison ivy than the dream but I miss it so much ❤

i hate florida, based on heat and humidity alone (i had heat stroke years ago, it literally hospitalizes me). but i would kill to be camping in a spot like that. it's so cool, the wildlife is so different from the coyotes and mountain lions and deer and foxes in my area of the high plains. my bro in law lives down that way, a bit north of there, but still in the area. maybe i could do that in the early spring or late fall...
