It is not going to be close, as the Tesla Model X Plaid is in another league with acceleration. But as with the Cayenne and Urus, it doesn't matter one bit. Those crossover/SUVs are ideal choices for Porsche/Lamborghini loyalists. And like the Taycan, they are not really competing against Tesla. They are competing against the other German and Italian automakers who focus on having top materials and superior build quality, combined with great engineering. They are designed to have their existing, loyal fans, move up to their latest, improved models. I still want to see them all race! Keep up the good work!😎

The Cayenne is NOT an SUV ;it is a hatchback Crossover. The "U" in SUV is for "utility" which means "work" vehicle. The only "work" you can do with a Porsche Cayenne is deliver Chinese food.

Higher top speed than the Mondeo X Plaid, brakes way better, handles better and doesn't fall apart. Easily the best Suv right now.
Not the best price or bang for your buck. Service and maintenance on the Porsche will cost astronomical prices.
This car costs 230k you can literally buy two model x plaids. I get this thing would be better on a road course but you can buy carbon brakes and lighter wheels for the plaid and still have 100k left over. The plaid is faster to 60 and 1/4 mile. That's not even getting into the maintenance difference in both. Much different vehicles though. I really do love this Porsche but its a 1/4 million bucks so it should be good

And Model X looks way better than Cayenne, even most of hardcore Tesla haters will agree on that one What is more actually if you unlocked top speed on both this Cayenne and Model X Tesla would go way faster, at least 215mph (Model S did that easily and they have identical drive train) and even for brakes, Cayenne is maby better than the standard Model X (assuming both have the same tire) but if Tesla adds track pack to the X like they've talked, it will also outbrake the Porsche (just like Model S does the Chiron), only thing which Cayenne can do is "outbreak" the Tesla

Haven’t run mine in super hot weather, but in 60s temp with warm tires, and sport performance button turned on with launch control, I’m consistently 3.0-3.1 on my gear.

Long distance the Petroleum Engineer beats EV Plaid. Plaid will have to charge and Horsepower is for Starting out mainly. So it will be quicker. Until the Porsche gets to 200 mph or 180 depending on Government speed locks.
