Corrections: Bastion is in the photo with Forge and Adler. (Important time travel guy, we’ll get to him.) Also, Apocalypse is on the game cartridge, not a Sentinel. Also, Mojo gets fatter because he’s feeding on the surge ratings. I probably missed other stuff too. It's Konami's X-men arcade game. Most games were ported from Arcade to Sega and Nintendo consoles back then.
@@maybachyard that one wasn’t ported to home consoles until the PS3/360 generation. @jtorch917 is correct. It’s literally the Genesis game in a Genesis console that they called a Motendo.
There's one little detail you got wrong mojo wasn't sucking in his gut he literally feeds off the mental energy of his audience. He said as much not only in this episode but in the original series as well. Thats y he was as big as he was in the first place, n y became skinny. After losing longshot no one watched his series anymore he lost his source of food so he pivoted to videogames n as the audience started to grow so did he that's what the yellowish green energy surge around him was, his dinner.

I’m taking care of my mom she has ALS. This episode was in the background as I was getting her ready for her shower and Forge dropped the line ‘You are a Goddess!’ And she just couldn’t stop laughing. Like the sands through the hourglass…

That's not a Sentinel that's Apocalypse 4:04 Also when discussing Forge's connection to Dr Adler there someone else in that picture that has his arm around Forge. I couldn't make it out at first but it does look to be another possible villian by the name of Bastion aka Sebastian Gilberti.

That videogame cartridge actually looks more like the X-Men Sega Genesis game that came out in 1993 to be honest. Both have Gambit and Wolverine pretty much in the same pose. The way the series is handling Mojo; can we just get Deadpool to cameo in an episode? The 90s cartoon run does have the X-Men intro playing in the background constantly in the Mojo world. Or at the very least have a live action Deadpool movie with Ryan Reynolds entering Mojo's world to kill Mojo and Mojo makes a reference to the cartoon and Deadpool being in the same universe.
I think Deadpool will be a reference in the last episode, directly tying into the film by there being some timeline shenanigans. Why else would they send Cable and Bishop away so early on? I believe they’ll be back and talk about incursions or something
Just wanna point out that the opening also updated Jean Grey's hair to reflect the ponytail of the real Jean as to supposed from the previous Madelyne Jean style. Cheers! 🥰

There’s so many wrong details and air grabs in this video and I usually don’t have that problem on this channel, the X Men arcade machine doesn’t feature Gambit, that was Jean. Mojo wasn’t sucking in, and he didn’t have plastic surgery, that was a joke of sorts, he was malnourished because he feeds off ratings, and didn’t regain his original form until his ratings went back up

I am not sure how you got him starving for ratings so wrong. He clearly explained that he had a rough quarter and his weight loss was the result of that. As soon as he got the crowd hyped up he began to feed and quickly regained his form.

Worth noting… at the 19:43 mark, the picture with Forge and Addler had a third person that looked to be Bastion, which is both a callback and potential precursor to Sentinel/Nimrod adventures ahead…
Thought they would have highlighted more Storm’s Claustrophobia when she entered the machine Forge had for her. She did breath deeply before going in but no big deal made of it

Don't know if anyone noticed but the scene where storm and forge are sitting at dinner table eating chili. The adversary was watching them the whole time on the ceiling. Gave me chills.
Video game Magneto referred to himself as the "Lord of Magnetism" which isn't a _nom de guerre_ that he uses. That would be a translation error that would occur because the production team isn't in the Western Hemisphere.

A few errors. 4:00 is an amalgamation of retro X-Men video game covers. Mainly splicing both the Genesis and Super Nintendo games' cartridge and box art. 12:20 That's clearly Longshot and not Gambit. 17:38 That's not Gambit. That's Jean Grey taking the spot of Dazzler. Dazzler in the original arcade game, being based off the original X-Men animated pilot Pryde of the X-Men, was set up to be Cyclops' love interest. So even logically it makes sense that's it's Jean.

In motendo, I thought mojo was starving to death, and spun it as glow up like a vain Hollywood person when he decided to pivot to video games, and when the broadcast went live , he got an influx of nutrients and dropped the glow up act.
I definitely got the Jumanji and Zathura vibes from the Motendo story. Getting sucked into the game and then getting help from a future version of yourself I think that was very well done. I really hope Storm gets her powers back in pt.2 and something will probably trigger their reemergence.

Bastion is also in the photo with Forge and Adler (Though most of him is covered up). The presence of Adler and Gyrich in this season means I don't think they are going to do Operation: Zero Tolerance. (Notice the later episodes are called "Tolerance Means Extinction") That was the post-Onslaught story where Bastion and Gyrich started turning regular people into Prime Sentinels. In case you didn't know, Bastion is a time-travelled Nimrod. So this whole season has been showing the miniaturization process of sentinel tech with hand blasters for regular people to use. So we are going from sentinels, to humans using sentinel stuff, to humans BEING sentinels.
Mojo is a great villain

The cartridge art looks taken directly from the Sega Genesis game cart titled X-Men. The game style is similar to the Arcade side scrolling game titled X-Men but, the stages and items look a lot like the Teenage mutant Ninja Turtles side scrolling Arcade game.

As much as I'd love for the main antagonist of this season to be Cassandra Nova, I feel as though them having Bastion covered and the three part series finale having "Tolerance" in the title may lead to Bastion really coming through. He lead and was a part of "Operation Zero Tolerance" in some of the issues.
