From MalaMala Game Reserve to wherever you are in the world, we'll bring you moments from our daily safaris in one of Africa's most iconic private game reserves. This is essentially a continuation of our 'Rangers in Isolation' series which was filmed during the national Lockdown.
That was a bit much but that's what it takes in their world. Great video as usual!! The Cubs are so cute almost too cute!! Glad to see the youngsters are learning what it takes to make it!! Thank you Mala Mala for all you do!! Thank you for sharing such amazing footage!! You guys are the best!! Much respect and appreciation from North Carolina!! God bless and stay safe!!

Awesome to see the new cubbies. Just want to squish their little faces. Kambula Pride doing what it takes to survive and getting good at it. RIP Mr. Bull. Thanks Guys as Always
Our pleasure Kimberly 😇
Cubs nr one. Lions nr one. Love.
Incredible footage. Poor, suffering buffalo bull, happy lionesses and pups, distracted elephants. No nonsense talking. A slice of real wildlife...
"Slice of wildlife" never said it better.. it would be cool of that was a genre of anime 😂
@@chimpz5690 Yes, indeed!
3:37 my heart breaks seeing the buffalo's face. 😭He fought hard but nothing can stop a pride of determined and hungry lions.
So sorry this broke your heart 😒 Come visit and stay longer here in the actual environment, and after sometime, it will be normal. Trust me...😜😅
Karla you are stunning just beautiful just had to say it.
God can and He will. I feel sorry for these lions in the afterlife because they will burn for eternity. The buffalo now rests in Abraham's bosom
@@boxelder9147 🥸🥸🥸
@@boxelder9147 Why these lions are not dying like this, they should also get a brutal death like they give the others and I really wish these carnivores especially tigers and lions get destroyed from this universe, when will this happen because only from that time these herbivores would live a happy and fearless life all the lions & tigers should be killed and destroyed it's very important
Wow. A lot of respect for the Buffalo but I love Lions so much. Thanks
Awwwwwwwwww, cubbiesssss... how do I luv thee. Let me count the ways. Please help protect these beautiful little darlings & the pride. And thank you Mr. Buffalo for giving life. So, it’s nature & its existential nihilism. Your video delights our senses. Thanks MMGR.
You are so kind. Thank you for watching!
Fantastic footage of some raw, amazing animal behavior! From the young lions making an impressive kill, to the elephants almost intervening and voicing their adamant protest. This kind of action never ceases to amaze me. Great work as usual, and thank you for the incredible content!!
Wow! There's giant chunk out of that buffalo's back by its' spine. But, not only was it still alive, it was still standing for a time.
One of the best buffalo videos. Nicely done by the lions.
The new cubbies look adorable and full of mischief. ❤️🐾😊 I wish the Kambula Pride youngsters had been paying more attention during their hunting classes-first you suffocate your prey, THEN you eat it! 🙄 RIP, poor buffalo. 😢💔 Thank you for sharing these great sightings, @MalaMala Game Reserve.
Our pleasure as always Nadine 😉
So happy they got a large, good meal, especially for the youngsters! I felt bad when I saw in the last video some youngsters only managed to get a scrap of impala. They looked disappointed and hungry. Bless them all.
Thank you for watching!
ya, meanwhile at 3:05 ohh wow, poor thing was suckin. and the agony it must've endured. and that last big effort at 3:32 OUCH even hurt me all over
The miniature picture of the video is amazing. The Buffalo looks just like the wall steet bull!!
Ottimo video d attacco si sente il buffalo ottimo
Timing is everything if the ellys show up 20 mins eariler maybe the ole timer buff lives another day 😮 another great vid ✌
Thank you for watching Bobby!
Those lion cubs are so cute. Their personalities are already showing. Great video of the young lions taking down the old bull. It took a while, but in the end, they got the job done.
Eventually 😬 Thank you for watching!
Those Cubs are super precious
Yes they are!
One tough old buffalo wowzers! Great video thanks MM!!
Yes it was! Thank you for watching!
These cubs are too adorable! ❤ and mom looks tired. Lol
They're demanding little things 😉
Wildlife is amazing but also so freakin cruel. It was eaten while alive freakin torture. A good clip of the adorable cubs
Thank you for watching Tammy!
What ever you say Tammy you are the boss. 🖐️
So fascinating watching how they take the buffalo down. They seem very brutal in their approach. Also they waited a long time before they went for the wind pibe... Great video as always!
It was a 'learning experience' for the youngsters. The one lioness did eventually step in and 'finished the job'. Thank you for watching!
Brutal in their approach? Should they have asked permission instead?😮
@@Dan-nt2yb With that response im guessing you don't watch lion videos a lot?
They were teaching the youngsters
It’s so amazing that elephants always seem to chase predators away on principle. Great video!
I've always been fascinated how such little animals turn into giant beasts lol
Primal footage . How hard it might be to watch , we sure are lucky to have the ability to watch these goings on that have been happening for millions of years on this planet .
More like thousands of years. Scientists have been finding flesh on dinosaurs.
the youngsters will learn. the future Kambulas will become buffalo experts. they have full bellies. those cubbies!! oh my word!! cuteness overload. thanks as always! Stay safe!

That was amazing sight. Thank y’all Rangers for sharing this with me! 3 out of the big 5 is a great day! Ty 🔥💜🔥
Glad you enjoyed it - and that was 3/5 just in that one sighting ;)
The pros of being a large and strong animal: you are hard to kill. The cons of being a large and strong animal: you are hard to kill. Those buffalos have such slow deaths.
So happy that got a good meal for the family including the cubs!
Thank you for watching!
What makes me happy...is my favourite pride...the Kambula pride are eating...this we are so happy to see....lol but I have to say....hats off to the buffalo.what a tough fellow....what fantastic and fascinating video....you rangers are so brilliant at videos.. We have to watch it 3 times at least...wow....I honestly think you can never better than brilliant?...but you guys do...God Bless you.

Subhanallah..Glory be to the almighty God!
Fascinating to watch, lions take their time and don't rush.
Thank you for watching!
Wow an awesome piece of footage
Thank you for watching!
Love those Kambulas! U can tell by the lighting outside that it took a while to kill him. But that bull was old anyway! It was time to put him out the pasture! Lol!
😂 Thank you for watching!
What a great video! All the interactive species. And the fact that the lionesses were letting the older cubs do most of the work to take down the buffalo...wouldn't that be great? Just make the kids do supper tonight. 😉
Great video as always . Favorite channel
Beautiful
Much respect for the Buffalo. Lionesses you dont want to mess with.
And the young males 😉 Thank you for watching!

Actually buffalos are so dumb, they will fight you if you help them get out of the mud, i enjoy watching them get fked hard.
5:31 that shake....
So happy that the lions made a great kill. Awesome coverage!
Thank you for watching!
Great teamwork from the youngsters
That Buffalo had heart but it was inevitable once he laid his head down in defeat. You could literally see the moment he resigned to fate
Yeah you see his legs shaking, then his head went down as if he just gave up there and then and accepted his fate.
Thank you for watching!
It would hardly have mattered if it escaped. It's gaping wounds and injuries meant it would have died in the coming days anyway. It's probably why it didn't put up as much of a fight as it could of.
Natureza e inexplicável. ..
Obrigado por assistir.

Have you checked out my knife collection?
In nature, some die for others to survive.
🙌 Thank you for watching!
The Buffalo put up a good fight!
Now that is a slow way to go.
Thank you for watching!
If only there was a strong male lion going straight for the throat. Would have been a quicker and more merciful death.
It is tough to see but the elders must teach the young how to survive.. And sometimes survival is harsh..
🙌 Thank you for watching!
Yes it can be a cruel world we live in!! This shows, all to well, Only the strong survive!!
It's not tough to see. It's just their food.
@@SaadKhan-xn1xv For me when it's a drawn out kill it is tough to watch for some ppl.. That's why I don't usually watch Hyena kills..

Buffalo is an enemy to human being. Let it become lion's lunch
Nice meal 😁😋
That poor buffalo. Kambula pride has to step up their game. It is safer for them and a quicker, less painful death for their prey, if they are better. I did hear the observation that the cubs were doing it, so I guess it is a learning experience, but still sad. I hope they were all able to eat from the buffalo, at least and get their fill.
A learning experience indeed. Thank you for watching!
The buffalo's pain sensations have no importance in nature. If they're able to start eating before the prey is dead, then there's no reason why they shouldn't.
Most lions that I've watch on a hunt go for the nose/throat but these ones don't seem to know what to do. Are they the sub adults of Kambula?
Good observation, Heather. I am by no means an expert on this, but I have been studying lions for a few years now. By the looks of it, most of the lions in this grouping are in fact sub-adults. You can tell the males are due to their manes being so short. The oldest males in this group are probably about 2-3 years old. I'm guessing there might be an adult female in there somewhere, but to my untrained eye it's a little hard to tell. If I had to guess I would say the oldest lion in this bunch might be 4 or 5 years old. If I'm wrong somebody please call me out and correct me. You're totally right though, the fact that it took them so long to go for the throat or nose bite most likely indicates that these are all sub-adult lions and younger. Which in my opinion makes this video even more impressive. Great kill for such young lions!
@@michaelsouza4457 thanks that makes sense as to why it looks completely disorganized. Maybe the dads- Gowrie males need to step in and teach a session on buffalo hunting. It is a great video and they will get more efficient.
I hate it when I'm eating lunch and then I'm interrupted by a bunch of elephants...
😂 Thank you for watching!
@@MalaMalaGameReserve thank you for posting 😄
That was a painful take down.. are these particular lion pride members regular buffalo hunters?

Man that's a lot of lionesses
Elephants are so smart Jesus
As you mentioned these were the adolescents making the very clumsy inefficient kill. Did the cape buffalo die from shock? I would guess young lions are schooled to use both the windpipe hold and the suffocation hold by watching their elders make kills? Boy, that was difficult to watch yet very interesting.
Shocked elefants looking on.
Thank you for watching!
Your most welcome 👍
Excellent video. What was up with the elephants? Were they upset about something? Thanks!
