He was away from major American poker for a long time people thought he went broke. Some even said he died or owed so many people money he was hiding in other countries. Now in 2023 Dwan built himself a house in Hustler Casino. I heard Airball call him Thomas once and I have never heard anyone call him that in all these years.
@@DanRaidersWarriorsSharksGiants It was nothing but rumors. It seemed nobody really knew anything for sure. Maybe he pulled a Dave Chappelle and just wanted some time away from the spotlights. Maybe he simply enjoyed the Macau scene. All the rumors about money trouble came from the Jungleman challenge and that whole issue has never been cleared up, so there was probably more to it than what people were claiming such as that Dwan bailed out without reimbursing Jungle. It would be nice if Dwan would finally explain what happened there.

Flushes require 2 whole cards used to make the flush. Straights do not.
