  • So basically in PLO, you spend half the time going all in pre or on the flop, and the other half of the time figuring out how to split up the pot based on how many times you ran it and stack sizes.

    • Game selection is almost more important than skill in a poker career. Always feel dwan’s talent gets wasted though when he plays mediocre player. He thinks at such a high level, that gets wasted against someone like airball

    • It’s never easy to make money in PLO in the short term no matter who you are playing against as you can see in a couple of these pots he’s still going to lose about half the time even as the favorite. Gotta run hot which he obviously did.

    • You have to play two cards from your hand, so you can only have a flush if you're holding two of a suit. With 5 on the board it makes it less likely for him to have them.
