Making Electric Scissor Lift Table

2022 ж. 15 Қаң.

Although I made a mobile crane in one of my previous projects, I still needed something more mobile and handy. That's why I decided to build a scissor lift table. I decided to use an electric winch to make lifting the table quite fast. The electric scissor lift table is not designed to carry heavy loads, but a weight of up to 150 kg is no obstacle for this scissor lift. And for heavier loads, I use a crane that I made on one of my previous projects.

  • Amazing amount of labor went into this lift. I was tired before I started watching... now, I'm, really, beat. But, I watched the whole thing. Well done!

  • The video is enjoyable to watch - thankyou. I would like to suggest a much different application of the device demonstrated, for anyone interested: An electric hydraulic scissor lift bench, (about 18" x 6'), operated by remote control, and finished as interior furniture, could be useful in an elderly or disabled household. The bench would have to lower to about 3 or 4" from the floor and then rise, (using the portable remote), to about 20". The bench could be used by an individual or with a caregiver, to help a person recover to a sitting/standing position from a fall. Thanks.

There is another channel called Made in Poland which is very similar in that they make a lot of their own workshop equipment too and those guys can really weld as well. Their preferred colour is blue but I like Workshop from Scratch’s orange. They’re both great and inspiring channels. Cheers Stuart 🇦🇺
