GameBoyy 310 || StayTuned TV || This...took...WORK... I can tell you that just from watching once...The Choreography is A1 in this visual...One location so your eyes have no choice but to focus on their moves...The vocals...man the vocals....The camera angles with the drone shots...Like how many times did they shoot this??? Again the work that went into this is crazy I'm sure...Gotta watch this a few times...Tap in YA HEAR ME!!!

  • "NO" and "ON" - in 'NO' (BTS 2013) they fight against society and concepts that oppress them and in 'ON' (BTS 2020), the fight is within themselves, against their own dilemmas. BTS is always deep in their lyrics and contexts.

  • WE GOT ANOTHER VICTIM TO THE JIMIN EFFECT PEOPLE(Jimin is the one with blue hair who sang at the beginning^^) Both ON and Black Swan are part of the album Map of the Soul:7 which talks about their career(back then for their 7 years as a group) AND have elements from Jungian psychology(about the map of the soul which consists of 3 main elements: persona(the 'social mask'/what we show to the world(BTS also has an album about that(Map of the Soul:Persona), shadow(the parts of us who stay hidden from the world due to dubbed'not acceptable' by society), and Ego(our core full of out memories) ON and Black Swan show this starting descent into dipper parts of our selves to be able to find out who we are. This concept is a continuation of their LOVE YOURSELF series where they showed the theme of loving yourselves but still had to answer from where to love yourself and the answer is by finding yourself(which the MAP OF THE SOUL series explore) And don't apologize for pausing^^ We love to see people actually diving in and sharing knowledge^^

Not hating bp but when you start from bts atleast take time to discover them, know them and their top notch discography and personality. Some reactors even put bp as par as bts level and that cringes the he'll out of me.

There are a few behind the scenes videos for this song and MV that are all 100% worth checking out. One shows them rehearsing in a large gym then the actual MV shoot. Another shows how the music was recorded by the Blue Devils drumline and the UCLE School of Music as well as the choir they brought in. They also performed this for an end of year award show in 2020 and you can watch that insane dance practice (as well as the normal dance practice). :) The content is bottomless. If you can believe he didn't like his voice in the beginning, but worked hard at it and it was Suga, who praised and encouraged him all the time. Jimin is classically trained in Ballet, Lyrical and Contemporary Dance and used to enter hip hop competitions in his early and mid teens. He is also the one member everyone seeks out if they need comfort and support. Sweetest man alive in this world.

My jaw literally drop on the floor when I saw it. All of the vocalists of BTS are good to their own rights, tho. Jin is known as the belting king, silver voice. His range is crazy. His song "Epiphany" is the anthem for self-love. Jungkook, the main vocalist, singing solo on the bridge,, has the sweetest voice and range out there. He will be releasing his new single "SEVEN" on the 14th, along with the kick off of GMA in Central Park on the same date. V or Taehyung is known for his soulful baritone, amazing range, and his propensity to Jazz. Check out his "Singularity" or "Stigma" performances.

  • First of all, I'm sure you can recognize that this was filmed at the Sepulveda Dam in the San Fernando Valley. They also used drones to film this video. The marching band that recorded on the track is the UCLA Bruin Marching Band and they assembled a choir from LA, too. There's a video available documenting the production of the track on BTS's KZhead channel, BangtanTV that you can check out. It's cool to see how everything came together. Here's the link - kzhead.info/sun/odSfo5qZnah_m6M/bejne.html There's also a behind the scenes making of the MV, too. kzhead.info/sun/Y6icZtiAnoqma3A/bejne.html The guy in the beginning with the blue hair, that's Jimin. He released a solo EP in March 24 of this year. There were 2 MV's released. The first one is "Set Me Free" and the other is "Like Crazy." He performed the latter with choreo on Jimmy Fallon. I hope you react to those soon when you begin your journey with the vocal line solos. He has other solo songs released as singles, OST's (which are original soundtracks to drama's and films) and also under BTS albums like all the guys do in the group. Their talent is endless. I really appreciate your intricate attention to detail; musically, lyrically and visually, as there's a lot to take in all at once. Thank you for reacting to BTS. Looking forward to the next one. - LA Army reppin' the 310! 💜

In fact, personally I find it one of the high points of your reactions, because it shows that you care enough to go back when you either missed something, didn't appreciate it enough, want to appreciate it again or want to comment on it right then. It makes your reactions more genuine than if you simply sat through it in silence or talked over it briefly. That he wrote, composed the melody, as well as helped produce. Jimin’s dancing as well as vocal abilities are of an unmatched, unique, and specialized quality! 🙏👍❤️‍🔥🔥🥰

I’ve watched so many reactions on this specific video and you’re the first one to talk about the intentionally and science of choosing the instruments specifically to allow for their vocals to shine. I hope you watch the behind the scenes of the making of this video! It’s so admirable their work ethic.

  • You keep right on “interrupting”, the wisdom shared is why we’re all here (that’s Jimin’s voice that had you shook 👀)💜 You may want to watch their vids twice: one could be the actual video, and the other could be a live version or lyric video that way you’ll see everything. May I suggest you check out “Paradise” and “House of Cards”, the emotional lyrics and symbolism used are definitely worth it!

  • I discovered BTS by accident when I saw them perform "On" on the Jimmy Fallon show on February 24, 2020. They filmed at Grand Central Station in New York City. I was overwhelmed and shocked. I had never heard of them before. So you can imagine how I felt watching them for the first time perform this jaw dropping performance. Being a Musical Theatre person and being a choreographer and director and all....I KNEW what it took to pull off this perfect performance. At the end they were so exhausted. Because just like the Kinetic Manifesto they filmed take after take to record the perfect "Live" performance for the world to see on the Jimmy Fallon show that night. I immediately got on KZhead to find out all about them. I have watched and enjoyed BTS content every day since then. There is a Behind the Scenes video for this too. And Sienna, the choreographer, is in the middle in the front row again. Watch this NYC version, too. I think it was filmed before they filmed the Kinetic Manifesto. Enjoy. Nice meeting you on here!

  • I would say this version of On is called "kinetic manifesto film" because they poured their all into the choreography and into giving a hell of a performance for this video (kinetic meaning pertaining to movement, aka dance, and it's their manifesto because this was supposed to be their last title track and album for chapter 1 before they enlisted and they wanted to leave us with something grand enough that could represent what it is they're all about as performers and stand as a capstone for their career up until that point). The focus in the mv is clearly on the dance and the power and grit that so often characterizes their performances. Also, "that voice" that caught your attention at the beginning is Jimin! You should definitely check out some of his solo stuff like Set Me Free pt.2 and Like Crazy.

  • You’re in LA and this was filmed at Sepulveda Dam. The Blue Devils Marching Band from Concord, CA is in the MV. Definitely watch their performance on Jimmy Fallon when they performed this in Grand Central Station! Jimmy was able to secure special permission to shut down Grand Central at like 3 am or something for a short time and I think they did three takes. Jimmy said he could feel Jungkook’s heart beating through his back when he hugged him at the end 😁 Jungkook sings the slow vocal in the song you caught with no drum, just organ and deep horns (don’t know if it’s tuba or trombone). Excited to see you learn the vocal line in the group as a whole. This video and song was my introduction to them in January 2020 just before the world shut down. They were just starting to promote their album Map of the Soul 7 that this song is from and I saw them on the Today show with a clip of this MV and it started my interest enough to check them out then they went on Jimmy Fallon & performed at Grand Central which really sent me into a YT spiral of BTS videos 😆 when I hit Mic Drop, that was it for me, I was totally hooked. When you think you’re ready, watch MMA 2019 performance. It is all 7 and 40 minutes long and will blow your mind. You’ve been to AgustD live so you’ve had a taste of their live performance, the MMA 2019 is at an /awards show/ but it feels like a concert. I'm turning 45 this year and their music have helped carry me through some of the darkest times the past 5 years, mostly recently my mothers death. I first got into them because of their insane synchronization with the choreography but then I noticed they were weaving teachings of Carl Jung psychology in their lyrics talking about the Shadow, Ego, Self, Persona. They referenced the shadow in this video even. The war between their different selves. Its SO deep on so many levels and yeah, I was around when JJ Rhythm Nation came out and this is on that level. Hands down.

  • Yes, BTS doesn't ever scrimp on the details. • Kinetic: means relating to or resulting from motion. • Manifesto: is a published declaration of the intentions, motives, or views of the issuer • Come Prima: is used as a direction in music meaning “in the same manner as the first time”. This is a double entendre, also meaning that BTS haven’t changed as people or artists since the beginning. (ON is the reverse of N.O., one of their first songs as a group in 2013. BTS thought of ON as kind of a sequel to N.O.) N.O. stood for No Offense and it was basically saying No to Korea’s cultural norm of maniacal focus on school, studying & making good grades which was negatively impacting its youth. These guys said NO, they weren’t going to live someone else’s dream. The fear of charting a different course for their lives and the pain they’ve gone through together to become successful artists became motivational for them. They were on their own path from the beginning “in the same manner as the first time”.
