@@christiankyleacbang9439 You go to main menu, choose Gallery, in the Gallery there's an option "Jukebox" in there you can choose which soundtrack you wanna hear for each character when u play, from DMC1, DMC2 and all of the other games, there I changed Dante's theme to Devil Trigger, and it plays all the time while you play as Dante, or either V as well, if you want to change V's as well, or if you want the soundtrack from other games, you can do that as well...hope this helped.

A lot of the themes in DMC have been centered around Sparda as a legendary dark knight in DMC’s world despite how little we actually know of him, most of the context we have of him comes from the DMC1 opening crawl with him doing sweet moves in the background and some more in DMC3 with how Temen-ni-gru was pivotal in him stopping the demon world. He’s so legendary that so many of the enemies reference him or relate his son’s to him yet we’ve never actually seen the guy proper. DMC1 is about Dante reconnecting with his past after shunning it after the events of DMC3 where Vergil’s actions causes Dante to embrace part of his demon heritage in order to stop Vergil, yet he regrets losing the only family he has left. DMC3 is all about Sparda’s legacy of locking away the demon world and waking up to justice, Vergil seeks his father’s power while Arkham schemes to ascend and become the next legendary dark Knight. DMC4 is all focused on an entire city dedicated to the worship of Sparda as some kind of divine savior, warping his legacy in pursuit of his power once again through the remnants of his memories with Yamato. DMC5 is the climax where Dante and Vergil reunite to finish the fight they started all the way back in DMC3 with who’s vision of Sparda’s legacy is correct or true, Vergil continues his pursuit of power, even going to the point of attacking his own son while Dante desperately works to stop Vergil before he once again goes too far and falls victim to the mistake he made back in DMC3 as well as discouraging Nero from taking on his own father, this time of course succeeding in forcing Vergil to see that there’s more to his life and heritage besides his father, proving to him that true power only comes from embracing both halves of his human and demon heritage, and one without the other only serves to weaken him. And it all ends with Dante finally following Vergil to ensure that he doesn’t have to face the demon world alone again and Nero picking up the mantle of devil hunter as a business. Basically Sparda’s pretty chad for someone we never see.

@@toren2099 he means it within a general sense in this case spada being a over arching aspect that is constantly looming in the back of every demon and hybrid of the series is a great way to get a bearing on how monolithic he was for the era he was apart of and is why dante and vergil are so recognizably strong even if all you know of dmc is sparda but if you think of it in a general sense then having a series center over a person who has no personality barley any solid backstory and only a vague idea of what they represent then it can cause the series to crumble the reason that dmc is different is because how dynamic and likeable dante , vergi l, nero and the rest are the pain each one feels and the things they overcome are great stepping points but because they all lead back to sparda it just emboldens the idea of him more so yes in dmc it was a good idea but in a general sense it is a terrible idea and would only work when sat upon a similar archetypal story

I kinda disagree, the ending man... those Nero scenes are pure anime bullshit. I really dislike Nero, he is too corny and infantile. Dante and Vergil are edgy and corny in a good way, tons of charisma. But Nero not so much... At least Nico is pretty cool, same goes for V. The new devs are very talented, they almost salvaged Nero, but the ending of DMCV kinda tarnished their efforts

in DMC3 and DMC3SE there is a playable Vergil that only uses his Yamato. Normally this vergil is exclusive to mission 19, but you can hack the game to play as the Mission 19 Vergil he's also referred to as BOB in the DMC3HD DDMK mod. no he's not the selectable Vergil that's playable in every mission, he has all 3 of his usual weapons and his arial yamato move is different to the BOB moveset.

The way they cut together THAT part of the song and the chorus ("I am the storm...") and actually played it in a different order for the trailer mislead me to believe the whole 9 minutes would be sung like that. Which...sadly, it wasn't. I was looking forward to the full version and got even more hyped when I saw the length. But, to be honest...half the song is too slow and the dub-step parts don't really do it for me, either. The part you mention and the chorus are, by far, the best parts. The rest doesn't really hit the bar for me.

@@SlavoidUkr Well, maybe not dub-step, don't know the correct term for the genre, but it's that filler part that's from 2:59 to 3:10 and wherever else it shows up. It doesn't fit, at all. For me. The rest, all the slow parts, could've or should've been in a separate soundtrack, because there are too many of them, too much lulling of the action and on a whole, it just detracts from it. Sure, previous soundtracks featured slow parts and slow, quiet, calm vocals with it, as well, but they fit together. Here, in this long 9 minutes...it feels like the whole thing should have been only HALF as long, without those parts. Like I said, they rearranged the chorus and verses in the trailer, where the order sounded better, so even the order of them feels off in the full version. With that said, the lyrics are kick-ass, as always. And I'm constantly amazed and wonder where the hell they come up with it all.

I don't think Vergil thinks tahts strongly about wanting poer anymore. Remember how in the trailer he says "This IS power" right as V is summoned? I think this is meant to show he has finally accepted his human side and that he's already strong enough to get what he always wanted: A family. Because when you think about it, he now knows he has a son and he somewhat made peace with Dante, so what's stopping him from being happy and not afraid of his trauma? DMC V was the moment we finally get to see him rise above losing his mother and become able to just move on with his life, with Nero representing this hope once his son beat the living shit out of him.

I decided to watch the full game cutscene from 1 to 5 because of devil trigger 😁
A lot of the themes in DMC have been centered around Sparda as a legendary dark knight in DMC’s world despite how little we actually know of him, most of the context we have of him comes from the DMC1 opening crawl with him doing sweet moves in the background and some more in DMC3 with how Temen-ni-gru was pivotal in him stopping the demon world. He’s so legendary that so many of the enemies reference him or relate his son’s to him yet we’ve never actually seen the guy proper. DMC1 is about Dante reconnecting with his past after shunning it after the events of DMC3 where Vergil’s actions causes Dante to embrace part of his demon heritage in order to stop Vergil, yet he regrets losing the only family he has left. DMC3 is all about Sparda’s legacy of locking away the demon world and waking up to justice, Vergil seeks his father’s power while Arkham schemes to ascend and become the next legendary dark Knight. DMC4 is all focused on an entire city dedicated to the worship of Sparda as some kind of divine savior, warping his legacy in pursuit of his power once again through the remnants of his memories with Yamato. DMC5 is the climax where Dante and Vergil reunite to finish the fight they started all the way back in DMC3 with who’s vision of Sparda’s legacy is correct or true, Vergil continues his pursuit of power, even going to the point of attacking his own son while Dante desperately works to stop Vergil before he once again goes too far and falls victim to the mistake he made back in DMC3 as well as discouraging Nero from taking on his own father, this time of course succeeding in forcing Vergil to see that there’s more to his life and heritage besides his father, proving to him that true power only comes from embracing both halves of his human and demon heritage, and one without the other only serves to weaken him. And it all ends with Dante finally following Vergil to ensure that he doesn’t have to face the demon world alone again and Nero picking up the mantle of devil hunter as a business. Basically Sparda’s pretty chad for someone we never see.
Also while on the nose Dante’s strength comes from love, a human emotion that demon’s and those that worship them can’t see. Something that Agnus can’t grasp when he asks Dante “what is it that demon’s lack?”

@@toren2099 he means it within a general sense in this case spada being a over arching aspect that is constantly looming in the back of every demon and hybrid of the series is a great way to get a bearing on how monolithic he was for the era he was apart of and is why dante and vergil are so recognizably strong even if all you know of dmc is sparda but if you think of it in a general sense then having a series center over a person who has no personality barley any solid backstory and only a vague idea of what they represent then it can cause the series to crumble the reason that dmc is different is because how dynamic and likeable dante , vergi l, nero and the rest are the pain each one feels and the things they overcome are great stepping points but because they all lead back to sparda it just emboldens the idea of him more so yes in dmc it was a good idea but in a general sense it is a terrible idea and would only work when sat upon a similar archetypal story

I kinda disagree, the ending man... those Nero scenes are pure anime bullshit. I really dislike Nero, he is too corny and infantile. Dante and Vergil are edgy and corny in a good way, tons of charisma. But Nero not so much... At least Nico is pretty cool, same goes for V. The new devs are very talented, they almost salvaged Nero, but the ending of DMCV kinda tarnished their efforts

in DMC3 and DMC3SE there is a playable Vergil that only uses his Yamato. Normally this vergil is exclusive to mission 19, but you can hack the game to play as the Mission 19 Vergil he's also referred to as BOB in the DMC3HD DDMK mod. no he's not the selectable Vergil that's playable in every mission, he has all 3 of his usual weapons and his arial yamato move is different to the BOB moveset.

The way they cut together THAT part of the song and the chorus ("I am the storm...") and actually played it in a different order for the trailer mislead me to believe the whole 9 minutes would be sung like that. Which...sadly, it wasn't. I was looking forward to the full version and got even more hyped when I saw the length. But, to be honest...half the song is too slow and the dub-step parts don't really do it for me, either. The part you mention and the chorus are, by far, the best parts. The rest doesn't really hit the bar for me.

@@SlavoidUkr Well, maybe not dub-step, don't know the correct term for the genre, but it's that filler part that's from 2:59 to 3:10 and wherever else it shows up. It doesn't fit, at all. For me. The rest, all the slow parts, could've or should've been in a separate soundtrack, because there are too many of them, too much lulling of the action and on a whole, it just detracts from it. Sure, previous soundtracks featured slow parts and slow, quiet, calm vocals with it, as well, but they fit together. Here, in this long 9 minutes...it feels like the whole thing should have been only HALF as long, without those parts. Like I said, they rearranged the chorus and verses in the trailer, where the order sounded better, so even the order of them feels off in the full version. With that said, the lyrics are kick-ass, as always. And I'm constantly amazed and wonder where the hell they come up with it all.

This feels like the mature version of Neros theme tho. Epic feeling. Vergil has this hard hitting metal and Nero has this youthful singer and musical theme. Violins and Guitars in comparison to an electric instrumental and melodyline. This is the exact reason why I love DmC. Everything is hard, heavy, moody and straight up epic.

I don't think Vergil thinks tahts strongly about wanting poer anymore. Remember how in the trailer he says "This IS power" right as V is summoned? I think this is meant to show he has finally accepted his human side and that he's already strong enough to get what he always wanted: A family. Because when you think about it, he now knows he has a son and he somewhat made peace with Dante, so what's stopping him from being happy and not afraid of his trauma? DMC V was the moment we finally get to see him rise above losing his mother and become able to just move on with his life, with Nero representing this hope once his son beat the living shit out of him.
Vergil: Is power an instrument? Dante: No Vergil, power is not an instrument. Vergil: raises hand Dante: Motivation is not an instrument either.
