    • It makes sense that he isn't that easy to scare into talking even under the effects of the fear gas. He is practically obsessed with the concept of fear and the human psyche, and he is well familiar with what types of hallucinations and side effects the toxins can cause to not be caught off guard. Scarecrow is immune to the fear gas in the comics. He hasn't just built up an immunity to the actual toxins but the excessive exposure to it has actually made himself incapable of feeling fear, at least on any high level. I think there were comics of him and the yellow lanterns involving his immunity to fear.

  • It took many years and a certain TV series for Cillian to really get the recognition he deserves, though he was perfect as the Scarecrow as well. Just that the character wasn't a major part of the Dark Knight trilogy. But in every scene that he had, Cillian's talent was obvious. I liked him as an actor right from Batman Begins...

  • It's so weird, The first time I saw this actor was in this movie, and he looked so weird and unsettling. The way he talked, his manorisms. The fact that he always looked like he was wearing makeup somehow. And yet this is the same guy who plays in Peeky Blinders. It's hard to not see him as this role. I had the same issue with William Defoe in spider man 1.

  • I loved Cillian in these movies and found it criminal how little screentime he got in all of them, honestly. We really needed him to come back for a "Robin Begins" where for the first half of the movie we just see Robin becoming a superhero, until halfway thru the movie where he realizes he needs Batmans help and they take on Scarecrow once and for all and... yeah, I know it's never happening but I absolutely LOVED Scarecrow in these movies.
