The damage to the compressor wheel is likely caused by remains of wet air filter. There was a VW campaign for some of them to remove a rubber bung in the intake ducting that used to block up, resulting in the airbox filling with water. It probably had the campaign done without checking the filter, seen a few where the air filter had started to break apart and become ingested by the turbo. You guys probably have heard of this already, but just in case you didn't!

I went to Cayenne 6 pot calipers and 350mm discs on the front and 358mm rear discs with some 14mm spacers.
Nice power ive just seen the boys in north wales in mold looked like they were heading home

With those turbo wheel sizes 400bhp should be possible if the fuelling is upgraded.

@@hexagonosaurus5848 Not teaching anyone anything it was just a statement, plus I work in the automotive industry for a big Uk company, I think I know a thing or two.
On my Touareg Escape 2014 model it drives pretty normal in economy mode, but when I pull the gear change back to switch it into sport mode it takes off like a scalded cat. Feels like a totally different car. Is it possible mine has a tune on it that only works in sport mode?
We can but its all in the throttle maps!
Was the driving portion done on AT tires or Summer tires?

What size wheels was the dyno run with road tyres ? My towrag is rolling on 20s and i want to down size for a thicker tyre for that tiny bit of extra comfort and reduced cost on tyres
They were from an R Line so I believe - 275/40R21
@@DarksideDevelopments ahh, what can i realistically reduce mine down to size wise. Currently has 20s on but after a thicker side wall for trip up the lakes in july, last time had skinny tyres on up there it didn't end well
Majority of Touaregs can run 18" wheels which should give plenty of space for a little extra tyre

Normally great videos but in this scenario you changed so many variables it’s not exactly an identical test is it and unfortunately proves nothing 🤷♂️
But it did 309 with the turbo and remap on AT's, 328 just swapping to road tyres and then with a few tweaks of timing, up to 335 so?
