For anyone wondering the spen nibs of the s22 ultra are in fact replazable but Samsung did not include nibs or the removing tool in the box, but any of the old nibs will work perfectly.

Hi Jerry, I love all of your tests, especially this one, when you presented how the s-pen works ;) and of course looks inside too. I agree with you
I love how Zach still protects his note 10 with the same words I do when people tell me to replace my s8 from 4 years ago😁
Still rocking my S7 edge.
The S8 is a great line of phones. I actually just replaced my S8+ with the S20 Ultra. Honestly, I didn't need to, but I wanted an upgrade and the S20 Ultra was the last of the line with expandable memory. I figured I'd grab it now and hold onto it 4 or 5 years. I still keep the S8+ around for multi-accounting certain games and it runs everything just fine.
Before the Note 10, I'm pretty sure Zach had an S8 or S8+ :D
Hahah me to, but mine has become really buggy and the battery isn’t what it use to be, so I’m moving to this one

Finally, someone else who likes the individualised cameras, honestly it felt like every reviewer hated it and thought the S21 Ultra was far better, but I never found the S21 Camera bump to be anything great aesthetically, the S22 Ultra has a much nicer design in my opinion and I'm glad someone else actually likes it.
Nah s21 looks far superior
Because it's highly subjective. There is no right answer. I, for one, think that the S21U's design was far superior.
I think for 3 cameras or less, the rectangle/bump looks nice though it is unnecessary. I think the ultra looks fantastic with the individualized cameras, especially in the phantom white color
linus also liked the 22 design better
Glad many ppl like it too
You break and tear things apart exactly how I crave. It is so interesting seeing all the components inside the Spen!

The calm demeanor as he casually rips through the packaging to get to the cable. Zach. Never change.
The camera layout LOOKS good but in a case is more difficult to clean, especially the tiny lenses. The Note20's single glass pane was much more effective in this regard.
Imo the UAG cases for the s22 ultra are ugly af.
@@keonxd8918 what UAG case isn't ugly?
I feel like a solid pane has more potential to pick up dirt and smudges, but yes, probably easier to clean. Really, we should just go back to flush cameras, but apple has buried that trend and everyone else hopped on.
I don’t think so the note 20 camera doesn’t look as sleek as the s22 ultra
I have a question Jerry, what do you do with all the phones you've tested afterwards?

I'm glad Zack is still using that Note 10+ for another year. I've been tempted to upgrade, but instead decided to essentially rebuild my beaten up Note 8 last year. There's no difference lol
When comparing this device to the Oneplus 10pro, this device is truly durable. Samsung equally distributes quality and features in every products.
except for the exynos, for the higher price, compared do 10 pro, not so equally distributed huh
@@stearless well, exynos is crap, like really shitty. But atleast the device doesnt snap in half from a small bend and the actual device actually has software and a proper working UI. I went from the oneplus 8t pro to the s22+ and I love it. The new os update basically bricked my oneplus. It made it laggy, the touch was kind of off (already an issue), the speaker function stopped working for phone calls. I gave it a day and went out and traded it in.

The main plus side for upgrading to this phone, is actually at it's core function of a phone. The new modem supposedly gets better reception in areas with little to no signal with other devices so if you live in a rural area this will be a major plus.

I'm still using my samsung a50s. Have some slight problems with it being a bit laggy and camera glass is broken, but it works just fine since I don't use my camera all that much anyway
We're going to see how it holds up to every day life: Using a lighter to try and burn it - a little damage after 20 sec. Taking a box cutter to every surface - not bad. Bending it in a way that would never happen in every day life - won't snap in half. Will it crack from a drop of a couple feet? - that rarely happens in every day use, so we didn't try that.

Have an Ultra, nice to know it's quite durable. Loved the look of the Dbrand leather on it but it appears to come off very easily. Does it bond better than you showed if left on for a while??
Yes. It's a PSA (pressure senator adhesive) and it sticks very well after you press it down and let it sit for a while.
Heat the edges properly and wipe it a bit with the included cloth, it'll be on there really properly
I can't speak about the leather skins, but I am rocking dbrand skins for years now. Never had one come loose or anything like that. I'm using my phone without a case, so the skin is constantly rubbing against my pockets and stuff, but as I said, i never had one come loose on me.
@@Sohpax Great. I ordered a brown leather back for mine and that's exactly how I'll use it. Good to hear it's going to survive! Thanks!!
thank god for the removable buttons, and thank god for you telling us that in every video !! ... I incidentally glued up my buttons while I was applying a screen protector.... never happened to me before and I am using only UV protectors for years ... I started panicking :D and then I remembered that the buttons were removable, and I managed to take them off and clean them ...
Tab S8 Ultra durability test. Interested if they bend easily like the 2020 iPad Pro 12.9" 😁
Thank you, Jerry, for the review on this Galaxy as Verizon has offered me a "deal" on this model. Even though my four year old phone works, it is a bit slow and I would like a larger screen.
