Wow...lovely clean engine room. Some tankers i worked on were the same. As for those lovely EMD's ...sweet music to my ears. I work for Irish Rail and our locos are GM. Our 071 class has the 645 engine and the 201 class have the 710 engine.

My dad worked for Dravo in the 50s and 60s....this brings back memories. Thanks for the tour. That boat isn,t squared away....it,s A J squared away.

That much professional pride puts what is under the bonnet (hood) of my car to shame. That’s one spotless like brand-spanking-new engine room. Wouldn’t mind a good long linger and look around. Thanks for the view.

You are very correct. That’s where this girl came from. I would have to look. I can’t remember if she is from late 1970s or she was from 1980s, but she was one of the many bobtail Vikings built up there.

Note to cammer; SLOW DOWN with your movements! Fast panning left to right and up and down create a bad viewer experience. Better to stand in place for a few moments and pan around slowly. Then move to next location. Otherwise interesting to see the inner workings of a well maintained tow boat.

That was a random video that popped up on my feed Either way the Bernard G what's smaller then the Beverly Ann and the Frank alter unless power of course but it was from Dravo and it handled better than that triple screw Beverly Ann or the Frank Alter they were all nice boats but I liked that Dravo 100% more
