Nobody screaming, everybody is calm and in control. Another masterclass in teamwork
That says more to me about a recovery that they perform than anything else. That statements holds more merit in this type of Scenarios than most will ever know
Your right, most if not all toes no one panics.
But someone still stays in controll That is important
one of the few guys getting rescued that seem to be honestly grateful!
How come they never talk about $?
@@spencergreenhill7728 Why talk money? You have to pay regardless, can't abandon your stuff on public land for any reason. It's cheaper than fines regardless of what they're charging.
8 hrs round trip driving those two ultra low ⛽️ mileage rigs must happen been eye wateringly expensive
Naw, we all respond differently. Some folks might be camera shy. others are more stoic like my dad was. I don't jump up and down for joy when my rig is fixed by a professional (actually, sometimes I do). You can tell that Mat knows that folks are grateful when he shows up. I've noticed a lot of time you see relief when mat gets there. They're in a bad situation that's stressful and a lot of time scary. When you see a professional show up with a smile on their face, it feels like a heavy weight has just been lifted off your chest. So don't judge folks just because they aren't acting like a dog getting a treat from his person and pissing himself.
@@mikeblair2594Yeah. I'd most likely look like most of the guys on here, not really responding excited or not, but that's just how my mind works. (Unless I'm excited to meet Matt and the crew, that is!) I would certainly appreciate but as a kid never really learned how to articulate the feeling. I can say the words, but like you say, not everyone is going to give off the usual tonal or facial indicators.
Gotta say, you guys look like you're living the life! Love your work ethic and calm demeanors.

I originally thought the corvair was a cool project and interesting but now seeing it out there... man Matt had a vision and boy does watching that thing cruise through the rough terrain sure look bad ass! Never thought the banana would/could be replaced but this is so iconic.
You guys are freaking awesome! Extremely professional and skilled at your craft. I am blown away by some of your recoveries. At first it doesn't seem like the right thing to do but ends up working every time.
Trevor took one for the team. Much appreciated.
He's lucky he landed on one cheek. Could've easily landed evenly and then crushed his tailbone and spent the next 5 years trying to get back to 40% mobility. Landing on one cheek is what they teach you in paratrooping school. Big muscle, and muscle repairs itself. Tailbones don't and they hold your nerves.
One cheek for the team!!💪🏼👍🏼😳
Yep, not good for his back that was already bothering him before.
From my old skating days, we called it a"digger". Not sure how the name came about but if both cheeks land at the same time, with your legs open, it provides you with a wonderful ripping sensation. Be glad it wasn't a"full digger". Above all, nobody was forced to do the "death stroke", a play on swimming terms which represents flying through the air and off balance just before crashing back to the ground.
@@MattsAwesomeStuff good to know never would of even crossed my mind, I love it when people like you leave good advice for others 👍.
When Trevor said “Wait Rudy Let me get on the spare tire!” I was thinking how does that looks? Then the drone showed me- he’s riding it like a horse 🐴 😂 Cameramen get no respect 🤣 Great recovery!! ❤️🐞
I’m surprised that the front tires didn’t come off the ground. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
he is also good at running alongside the action and doesn't go off chasing rabbits.
Well…he just got a raise!

This recovery was amazing… I’m surprised there was no dents or scratches on the body even though it was sitting at such a steep incline 👌
You guys are awesome. I almost rolled my Isuzu years ago just like that. It was such a relief when rescue arrived!
Lizzy immediately hopping in was very impressive.
I think some horses she rides are more dangerous than that.
She should be use to it with leaning vehicles like that lol
She's sort of a bad ass
And was in brake 😂she don’t know
Why?
It's truly refreshing to see someone with so much experience show that he's not bashful about calling in others to help make things go right! That's true teamwork, when the leader knows that he's not invincible.
I like how Rudy and Matt were in seprate trucks when the pulled up to the gas station, but yet they had the same thoughts and told (mostly) the same thing to the camera!
I can’t believe you guys travel that far for recoveries. That is crazy.. I hope you’re compensated appropriately for all that time. Wow!! Love you guys!!
Lizzie is the highlight of the show. Super classy, beautiful and not scared to handle up. 👏👏👏
Matt it's really nice to know that you would come clear up here to make a recovery. Not everyone would consider it. Even a tow truck company wouldn't. Thanks buddy for letting the rest of us know that you are willing to go the extra mile.
Where was that? There is actually a group of guys in Tooele that do offroad recovery.

There wasn’t much holding that truck from rolling. You guys did awesome work as you always do. Unbelievable. 👍👍👍❤️
That definitely was a leaner. Just watching it rock when Matt was messing with it made me think it was going to tip. Good recovery as always.
It would need to be at least 58-60 degrees and that would be a higher center of gravity car or truck. They weren't close enough but if the ground slid out then it could be hairy.
If they had dropped an empty can into it before ropes where attached it would have rolled..
@@JohnAdams-qc2ju When I first started driving a Jeep after I retired, we were on a trail and I missed the line. The result was I slid off the side of the trail onto gravel and ended up at a 45° angle from the trail with a 500 yd fall. The group I was with were able to get me out using winches and one person hanging onto the side of my Jeep (I couldn't get out or the movement would have resulted in my Jeep rolling over). Every time I tried to move the Jeep it slid further downhill. Pucker time for sure.

This is crazy! As a former off roader, I felt like I was there with you. What a cool channel I stumbled across. Lizzy is awesome for jumping in that truck. Good save, guys. What's the Morvair? A Corvair on a Jeep chassis? Cool.
I don't know about the chassis, but it's a Corvair with (iirc) an LS2 swap. It's called MORRvair because that's short for Matt's Off-Road Recovery. :)
"I liked it better when you just walked in and got your cheese." Amen Matt from another 40something dude that misses some things about the old days!
Yeayyyy squeeky cheese. The basis of Quebec poutine!
Those Tacoma TRD 4X4 vehicles are awesome for offroad. This owner just made an error and got stuck. The loose rock can't be beaten, no traction. A winch is a MUST for any serious off roading.
Matt, you crack me up! You marvel at the angle this truck is in but then you drive practically vertical. Just amazing!
How cool would it be to go on an adventure every time you get a call out to work! Great video guys.
"Lizzy is detaining us, she found a horse to buy..." I felt that. My wife is in the next state over and she took her horse trailer with her and our portable round pen to create her own hold-over facility at a friend's house. I am frightened at what she might bring home. Good recovery, too. That was a sketchy position to be in, and y'all handled it great!
I feel for your poor bank account with theses alfalfa prices.😂 my area is 10$ for the little square bales. Maby you can talk her into riding dirtbikes. Only have to feed them when you ride them.😂
@@jnljnl8485 she'll do that in addition to the horses. We don't feed alfalfa, and square bales are hard to come by in Texas. Out round bales are $60-80 a piece, and we already go through two of those a week when the pasture is growing, 3-4 a week in the winter.
Talk about going “the extra mile”! This put a new slant on recoveries. They gave you a nice tip! Don’t worry Lizzy - it’s all down hill from there! How far can Matt drive while eating snacks without touching the steering wheel?! Great job, nice people.
Terrific job . You guys are really experts recovering vehicles , no matter the situation . I enjoy the videos a lot and also learning how to do it . Saludos desde P.R.
Matts team did a great recovery, a recovery that is much more difficult then what the camera shows. From personal professional opinion, these kind of recoveries should only be done by proven professionals in this field. Just because you have a winch or a wrecker doesn't make you a professional recovery operator. I have seen too many hobbyist and tow operator mess up. There have been many times different police agencies calls me to assist or to take over failed recovery attempts by other "professional tow ops". Matts team has earned this customers trust to recover his truck. The outcome was as expected, a satisfied customer because of a great recovery.
Matt I believe your customers are having a competition. To see who can get their vehicle stuck on the steepest angle. Without going over. Lol God bless
Way to go Trevor for supporting Operation Underground Railroad! They do fantastic work too.
What is Operation Underground Railroad?
Oh yes,check out Tim Hammond
Lizzy is the bomb! She is one gutsy young woman!
Nice to have a really grateful customer. Great work by all!
You know you're paying the higher price for a recovery when everybody gets a t-shirt in the end.
Probably cost that guy $200 a piece, marginally less than the Tacoma was.
9 people driving 5 vehicles four hours each way. even minimum wage each person for a 12 hour day that is $1500. 144 gallons of fuel x $3.60/gallon is $500.
And a whole lot of happy youtubers willing to subscribe and watch won't hurt the bottom line either.
@@exileut the price of a toyota?

Feels like in one of these days they will get a call to a truck leaning at 90 degree angle against a tree up at a mountain.

"Turns out agreeince isn't a word." Well, in this day and age, anything can be a word if it's repeated enough.
Agreeance is a word, it apparently goes all the way back to the 16th century. It just became obsolete and replaced by the word agreement. Also, popular use has a lot to do with legitimizing a word, it's this fluid nature of the English language that allowed for agreeance to be replaced with agreement.
